Diwakar Pundir Model & Actor
"I've started enjoying acting and anchoring" _________________________________________________________ Rou> Why haven't we seen much of you either in films or modelling? Diwakar Pundir> I've been busy with certain projects, which haven't released yet. And also the new show on TV called Crime Patrol has kept me extremely busy lately.
Jaggu> Heard you don't much care for modelling. Ironic isn't it? It's from your modelling assignments that we know you better. Diwakar Pundir> I have started enjoying acting and anchoring and would like to continue with the same.
Dodie> Are you doing any music videos? Liked you in the Sonu Nigam video. Diwakar Pundir> Waiting for a good song to come my way.
Keshavkesh> Hi Diwakar this is Keshav from Bangalore, nice to see you on the chat Diwakar Pundir> Thanks.
Jaggu> Hi Diwakar, don't you have any plans of going back to flying? Have you given it up altogether? Do you do hobby flying? Is your license current? Diwakar Pundir> Are you a pilot? No plans of going back to flying. My license has lapsed.
Keshavkesh> Which is your next film coming? Diwakar Pundir> Releasing in January'04. It's called King of Bollywood .
Ran> How come you decided to anchor a crime show on TV? What are your feelings when you are on raids? Any fear? Diwakar Pundir> I decided to do the show because it seemed unusual. I followed my crew on raids. I guess not knowing what happens next is what makes this an exciting project for me.
Goggy> Share some of the real life moments that you have encountered while doing this reality show on crime? Diwakar Pundir> I have interacted with some of the victims and their families. It's been an eye opener and also scary. Especially, at one time when there was a bomb scare, which only turned out to be a false alarm later. But before that I had followed the bomb disposal squad to the spot.
Keshavkesh> Diwakar, you are so cute why can't you get into a film containing all masalas such as dance, fights etc? Diwakar Pundir> Thanks, I will get there.
Rani> Are you going to be associated with this crime show for long? Had read somewhere that you wanted to quit midway? Diwakar Pundir> No, that's not true. I plan to continue .
Lakeside chalet> How this shift to an anchor on a crime show? Isn't it de-glamourising? Diwakar Pundir> Yes, it is. But I guess that's what makes it challenging.
Memo> Are we going to see you anchoring more shows now? Diwakar Pundir> Sorry, I can't talk it now. But, maybe (later).
Gogy> Doing any movies? Which ones? When are they going to be released? Diwakar Pundir> It is called King of Bollywood , set for a release in January next year.
Babe> How you doing Diwakar? Diwakar Pundir> Good. How are you doing?
Mushy> So, what have you planned for yourself? Is it modelling, acting or anchoring shows on TV? Diwakar Pundir> Modelling, acting, anchoring (in that order now).
Roru> Is anchoring just a job for you or you feel some passion towards this? Diwakar Pundir> Feel the passion.
Babbie> Hi, what about Hollywood? Are you going to be a part of it someday? Diwakar Pundir> Would love to and I am trying too.
Babe> Do you want to do some modelling in Australia? Diwakar Pundir> Don't mind but I don't have the time at the moment.

Rani> Well, modelling has changed. Now-a-days it also has quite a bit of emoting and acting involved in it. Doesn't that excite you? Diwakar Pundir> It does. That's the reason I am still here.
Lakeside chalet> What was your most exciting experience with the police? Diwakar Pundir> We covered the interrogation of a rape case. And followed the cops at every step. I felt like a cop myself. And went through the twists and turns of the case with the real life cops.
Maya> What do you think of crossover cinema? Diwakar Pundir> It has more scope than commercial cinema, is equipped with a wider range of subjects. I can be involved with it.
Rani> Did you learn acting formally anywhere? Diwakar Pundir> Not I didn't. I just got thrown into it.
Signoff Message> Thanks, it was nice chatting with you. Bye.
