Part 3

"Madhu" Rishabh called out as he searched for her.

He came in the library and found her deeply engrossed in some book. "Madhu..." he called her as he came closer to her.

"Yes Rishu.." Madhu said not raising her head from the book.

"Sultan called up.." Madhu closed her eyes hearing his name. "Why are you not picking up his calls?" He asked confused.

"I dont feel like.." Madhu said still not looking up.

"Did he do something? Something wrong?" RK asked getting angry as his fist tightened in a reflex.

"No.." Madhu said suddenly looking at him as she felt RK might do something wrong.

"Then.. why are you not talking to him.. he was so worried.. its been a week since that lunch of yours.. and he said that you are not talking to him since then.."

"Rishu.." Madhu said closing the book and looked at him helplessly. "I dont know whats wrong.. I feel strange with him.. even when I know he is an awesome man in all respects maybe.. but still something seems amiss."

RK kneeled down in front of her and held her hands, "If you dont like dont meet him.. but talk to him once.. he is feeling guilty that he did something wrong maybe, or you are not well.. Madhu, he is a nice guy.. nobody is hurrying you to get engaged or married... everything has its time.. we are just 19.. obviously we cant be serious about marriage right now.. that too we, who have been raised up in an orphanage.. we dont have a very ideal or healthy picture of that relation.. we are too young for that.. why are you spoiling a good friendship and a better friend in fear of marriage.. it would happen when the time would come.." Rishabh explained to her.

Madhu felt he was right. She nodded her head in agreement.

"Now smile.." he feigned anger.

She smiled as she took in a deep breath.

"Talk to Sultan when you feel like.." RK said smiling at her as he patted her head.

"I will talk to him now.." Madhu said picking up her phone and called him up.

" Hi Sultan.. " she said on the phone as Rishabh watched on.

"Yes I am fine.. I am sorry.. I was just too busy here.." she said.

"You want to meet..?" Madhu asked back hearing Sultan's question to meet as she looked at RK .

RK nodded his head encouraging her. "Fine.. then you come here in the morning.." Madhu said to Sultan.

She hung up the phone and smiled at RK.

"Are you okay now?" He asked her.

"I am quite relaxed.. Thanks Rishu.."

"Ahh.. I know I am the best.." Rk said smiling proudly and Madhu burst out laughing.

Rishabh woke up as he went in search of Madhu now. "Trish... where is Madhu?" He asked confused.

"You forgot? You have sent her with Sultan" she said with a raised eyebrow.

Rishabh remembered. "Ohhh right..." he said. "I wish I woke up earlier.." he grumbled as he turned to go away.

"Get used to it.." Trishna said from behind.

RK turned to her confused. "To what?"

"Not seeing Madhu when you wake up... In fact.. maybe not the whole day..." she said shrugging casually as she arranged the items on the table.

"Why?" Rishabh frowned not liking that idea one bit.

"Come on RK... Madhu would get married... Then Sultan would be her priority... you are just a friend... maybe she would meet you once or twice a week if she gets time..." Trishna said that intentionally but maintained the casual tone of hers.

Rishabh's eyes grew wide as he realized what she said. And to his disappointment he found her right. Madhu would get married then what would he be in her life. Sultan would be her husband and then their kids. Rishabh Kundra would be nothing to her then. He was stunned.

"I will get you some tea.." Trishna said as she walked off eyeing him intently leaving him to think alone.

RK was now sitting in the garden and his nose had an evident bridge which showed he was unpleasant over something. His hair still unkempt as he had not yet freshened up. He was too busy to do anything. Trishna came to him with tea.

"Your tea.." she said happily.

RK looked at her coming out of his thoughts. "Oh no.. you havent even freshened yet.. What's the big deal if you didnt meet Madhu today.. ok fine.. have this tea and you will get all fresh.." she said excitedly.

"I don't want." RK said.

"Why? This is the first thing you have after waking.. Change your habits.. Madhu wont give you tea now.." she said sarcastically.

"Yes I know.. I didnt refuse because of that..." he said as he quickly took the tea from her not wanting her to continue those rantings again. He didnt like hearing that Madhu would no longer be the same that she has been all her life.

He sipped in the tea and frowned. It was not at all the way he liked his tea. "Trish this is.." he said swallowing the tea somehow.

"What?" Trishna acted confused.

"Its not the way I drink it... I dont like ginger in my tea.." he said giving her the cup back. Already he wasnt feeliing good and now even the tea was horrible.

"Come On I am not Madhu that I would make the exact tea that you like.. And apart from that get used to these things now.. everything wont be the way you have been having it always.. Madhu would go away.. she had been the one taking care of your likes and dislikes.. otherwise no one here get those privileges of having a specific kind of tea..." Trishna said shrugging.

"Yes fine! Stop saying that again and again.. I understood.." RK said angrily as he had had enough of Madhu not being with him anymore blabber. He banged the cup on the table in front and fumed off.

Trishna chuckled seeing him. She had hit the right place. Now RK would do the rest. She thought to herself.

So, finally Trishna is gonna make Rishabh understand d importance of Madhu in his life...that place, which he can give only to Madhu.
Hope both Rishbala realise their 'puzzled-love' soon. 😆
