Today the show completed 100 episodes...so just sat back to have a flashback of its journey...
the show's pre start promos never looked appealing to me with all those dadi Dida shouting( reminded me of kokila modi)...plus the show got ashok limited to half an hour..it appeared a common hate saga to me..but as i started watching it, i really found it refreshing...i was shocked to know this is an RS show...not the swaragini bonding, but the dadi dida bond holded the charm...they stood as the pillars of the show..their revels full of teasing, taunting were naughty and worth smiling despite their pitch..it was a dramatic part but was so beautifully lightened up..the other characters too developed slowly...but the focus was kept on swara more and ragini majorly looked no more than a supporting cast..
then entered the most realistic character..laksh..perfect launch with his clash with swara...his clashes with her got some youth touch too in the show...followed by him joining swaragini in uniting the families..more refreshing episodes lined up with the swarya nok-jhonk lightening the serious situation...the show got all the elements...awesome characters, plot , sweet relationships, the fun and youthful touch... but as soon as u started believing that RS have actually reformed, she slams u back...
the breaking the league show..or I should say concept..soon diverted to the most cashable seeming track..the love triangle...a heart breaking, a heart suffering and a heart without any fault punished between the two...all those sweet emotions vanished away...the slow blow of winds of love in the form of swarya started coming as a sigh of please and relief...but before then could make u to connect with the show again, the show again changes it's focus...a completely revenge saga...the story now majorly belongs to sangini...sanskar's pain and loss..ragini's obsession...the story now have ragini as the focussed lead nd her much idiotic change of character...
the shows real essence was already lost after few episodes...the refreshment was lost..and the music theme which should have been the parallel concept never showed up...lame and idiotic transitions from one track to the other...some characters are so typical...not even the leads were up to the mark...swara- the typical lead filled with self righteousness nd purest soul around...ragini-the ideal material for a bride, typical indian girl nd now an equally dangerous villain..shekhar- a guy who is never able to take up his responsibilities..
worse track they included..ragini going negative...undigestable..and now its worst..sangini doing all those evil n illegal deeds in their revenge saga...breaking all the bars of our patience..how they are supposed to do this as leads for their deeds just deserve legal procedures...how can they be forgiven?
but the show still managed to get some high points that deserves applause...they always shown up the myths breaking away by their characters...be it laksh,DPM or dida...these three are the true highlights of the show..their character transitions were beautiful..laksh objecting DPM dictatorship and inhuman behavior, DPM realising the worth of a person over their clothes or religion..and adding to the list,dadi's totally awesome acceptance for swara..her slept love waking up on dida's mishap..pleasing scenes with pleasing messages..
but the show survives..all because of the cast nd those few awesome characters..though better than other RS shows, this show still failed after a point for me...a show which was thrown without planning as soon as the idea stricken, ended up diverting and leaving even the CVS confused...started with a bang, sinking now..
