CHAPTER 3
AFTER ONE MONTH
On The day of leaving @4pm
Jodha was busy packing her bag. She barely slept an hour as she was busy shooting till late night. She was very happy and excited. She had planned to surprize her mom as it was her birthday today. Rukaiya and surya entered.
Rukaiya: Jodha, i have bought this especially for aunty. She handed a gift box to her.
Jodha: are ruks, iski kya jaroorat thi.
Rukaiya: No no jo, aunty ko de dena its gift from my side.
Surya: chal Jo fasttt . were getting late.
Jodha: are ha surya just 2 mins... I need to keep this now. Jodha kept the box in her bag and was ready to go.
Jodha and surya bid adieu to rukaiya. Aarav was going to drop them. Surya had also taken prior leave. He was also going to meet his family living in the same city.They reached the airport.
Aarav: Jodha, aunty ko meri taraf se wish kar dena and he took out a photoframe from the boot and handed it to her.
" Aarav there was no need of all these gifts.." Said Jodha trying to protest. "Jodha aunty loves us so much. Itna to hum unke liye kar hi sakte hai naa" Aarav said trying to convince his ziddi friend. Soon both of them boarded the flight. For jodha it was like years till their journey to Mumbai. She irritated surya, tried to do every possible thing but still she was feeling as if time had stopped. Surya was very annoyed as Jodha waant allowing him to listen to his fav songs properly. Soon they landed to mumbai airport and Jodha heaved a sigh of relief.

IN MUMBAI
Jalal had already landed a day before. He had finished his conference and was on the way to his mother's friend's house. He was sitting and checking his mails when his mom spoke up." Beta, you have already finished your meeting. Now for somedays experience the life in mumbai too. Just look outside. Its sooo nice to be here " he looked out of the window. He saw outside. It was truly amazing. Never in his life he had seen such a magnificent view. The orange haze casted over the moving sea, reflecting off every wave. Half of a glowing, radiant light loomed on the water's horizon. He open the window . A warm sensation splashed onto his face from the beaming raysof the sun. A calmness flew by with the wind making his heart stop for a single second. The birds huddled with their loved ones knowing of the day's end.
His attention drifted to his mobile when he heard a beep. And again he was immersed in his mobile world checking mails. And soon they reached the desired place. Maina opened the door and she was delighted to see her childhood bestie and her son.
"Are hamidaaa, jalalll! Come in. How are you. Its been a long time since we didnt meet." Maina smiled welcoming both of them. Jalal also smiled looking at her.
Jalal bete kaise ho tum. You've grown so big.
" I m all fine aunty. I was totally busy in my work. But i suppose mom came here in last diwali. Right?" Replied jalal." Ha jalal. I visit mumbai every year. By d way maina. Where's your ladli? Howz she doing?" Asked hamida enquiring about jodha.
"She all fine hami. Shes totally immersed in her work. Doesn't even have enough time to call. "

IN CAB : TO JODHA'S HOME
Jodha and surya took different cabs as their houses were in opposite directions.Soon she reached her home. She had 2 handbags occupying both her hands and was wearing sunglasses to avoid the direct light. She rang the bell. A middle aged lady opened the door. As soon as she opened she tightly hugged her and literally screamed " mammmaaa!" Maina was surprised seing her daughter. "Jooo!"" Happy birthday mumaaa" she said while still hugging her. "Thankyou mera baccha.". As soon as hamida heard her voice she was elated.She stood up. Jodha broke the hug. " beta see who has come!"
Jodha went inside and was overjoyed to see hamida. Hamida always considered her as her daughter. Jodha used to call her hamida ma.
" hamida maaa!! She ran and touched her feet and instantly hugged her. Jalal was confused as who would call HIS mother 'ma'. He was watching the two people still hugging each other. They broke the hug. Hamidha kissed Jodha's forehead. " are beta tumhare ghar me itni dhoop hoti hai ki tumhe sunglasses pehne ki jaroorat padti hai?" Jodha giggled listening to her. Jalal felt that he knew this lady. He has seen her somewhere.
Jodha removed the sunglasses. As soon as she removed it jalal was surprised to see that beautiful angel standing in front of him. His jaw dropped seeing her and was again spellbound by her beauty. He came out of the spell after hearing his moms voice" Jalal shes Jodha." Jodha smiled at him. He too smiled at her. She again said in a excited voice " maaa keep this bags safely. Everyone has sent a lot of gifts for you.Hamida and maina smiled at her whereas Jalal was surprised as his mother already knew her and both of them were so close to each other.
Jodha came out after refreshing. She saw that her mother has made some snacks. She sat beside hamida which was opposite to Jalal. Maina served the snacks. Hamida , maina and jodha discussed on almost every topic and jalal was busy admiring Jodha. Jodha's mobile rang and she excused herself and picked the call. It was Aarav . Meanwhile jalal had finished and was going for washing his hands. He heard Jodha's voice and stopped on his tracks.
Jodha: hello! How are you?
Aarav: i m fine jodha. Did u reach safely? i was waiting for your call but u didnt turn up so i called
Jodha: ya dear u don't worry of theres any problem then ill inform u and yes i absolutely don't have any idea about surya.He said he'll call me at night.
Aarav: ok.
Jodha: are you fine? U r not sounding well.
Aarav: i just have mild fever.
Jodha: kya!!!!! I told you na take proper care. U must not be listening to ruks also. I should tell aunty to stay with you otherwise you'll always fall ill wen I go anywhere cuz you don't listen to ruks. Take the tablets without any fuss otherwise ill call aunty.
Aarav: can i speak something?
Jodha: ha to bolo na kon mana kar raha hai
Aarav: tum bolne dogi tab naa
Jodha (with a pout): sorry
Aarav: hmm good. Now listen ive already taken the tablets u dont worry. Now im hanging up, u enjoy.
Jodha: ok dear. Take care!
Jalal was a bit disappointed listening to their convo. He assumed that it was Jodha's boyfriend.
