MEA track was what many wanted to know how it panned?
Because atleast here Akbar would become the ruthless emperor, the strict patriarch the powerful kinsman that he was in reality
MEA was the track expected to bring out the personality clash of Akbar and Salim, difference in thinking between father and son, the thinking of Mughal family regarding the affair between salim and anarkali
But this track is turning out to be another of those boring tracks of JA where there is no spark, no novelty, no proper scripting no punch in dialogues no tension between the lead protoganists
Its like as if nothing happened a crown prince is loving a dancer and rakasha ok fine what great thing is that, after marriage he will become fine and Salim turned out to be a bheegi billi agreed for marriage to maan bai without any fight, without any protest and any threat to parents and anarkali is vying for greatest thyag title. Anarkali is like aa bael mujhe mar situation and salim is like andhon ki duniya mein aayina bechna. Is he dreaming that Akbar shall allow anarkali meet him after marriage? She will be kicked out or killed if Akbar knows he meets her after marriage to maan bai. And what does Akbar think salim will forget his first love and all hunky dory with maan bai when anarkali is in front of his eyes and alive in world? Every body acting so impractical and like stupid and denying facts
What a damp squib this track is?
Is this one of the greatest love story that it was supposed to be?(whether folk lore or otherwise)
Looks like straight out of some 1950's hindi movie melodrama
In between is a dumb as a dove maan bai, even dumber maan singh who stays in agra fort but has no clue of salim love affair and stupid bhagwan das and his wife and jodha the less said better cannot she say her brother, his wife and daughter what is happening? Whom salim is loving? Or cannot salim say? Would real jodha and salim behave so tackily hiding facts from her own brother or his future wife of love affair? Naah
But this is NR anything is possible but that also must have some logic and believable not anything in name of NR
