Chapter TwoAfter a tiring day at work, Rey returned back home and as always she was in kitchen, preparing dinner for them. Rey directly went upstairs in his room without greeting or talking to her like always. They might live as a husband wife but she wasn't more than any stranger to him, stranger with whom he shared his bed. Its not that he hadn't tried changing that, he had tried but everytime he goes close to her, open up to her, his past hold him back, he still wasn't able to forget his first love, Sharon.
He felt like he was cheating on her. They were in love since they were 16, she was his bestest friend then lover who understand him more than anyone. The only person he trusted and cared about but his parents snatched away his that happiness also and made him marry to someone he didn't even know. And worst part is he never spoke to sharon about his wedding, broke her heart and got married without in forming her that hurt him more, feeling like he cheated on her and because of that guilt he hadn't able to give his heart to his wife.
Not that he hold taani responsible for that, she wasn't aware about his situation then he had no right to blame her or treat her badly thats why he do everything in his hand to make her happy, fulfill every duty of a husband but least he know that a girl's only need is her husband's love which he had kept away from her.
Rey brushed off his thoughts and changed his clothes into T-shirt and track pants after taking a quick shower. How much he try he will never be able to love her when his mind and heart are blocked by his guilt. He will never be able to truly love her if he doesn't let go of his past.
"Dinner is ready" He heard her voice from downstairs, taking his cell phone from bed he went downstairs for dinner. He sat on chair as she started serving him, They had their dinner with him asking her few things like what she did today or hows everything at her workplace to which she reply.
After dinner they both entered their room, after changing her clothes into her satin nighty she slipped inside the covers where as he stayed awake, reading some files. He was sitting on bed beside her with his back rested against the bedpost.
After he was done with his work he kept the file back on side table and turned toward her, she was awake and was lost in her own thoughts. She was unusually silent, though she is not chatterbox, she usually don't speak much but today she wasn't herself.
"You okay taani?" Rey asked her with concern reflecting in his tone. His voice brought her back into reality. She looked at him.
"Yeah I'm okay." Taani answered him, smiling at him light. Probably this is the last night she is spending in this house with him. Rey nodded at her in return, he laid beside her, Rey hold her shoulder and made her face him. Her body stiffen knowing what he was about to do, Its not like they hadn't got intimate before, in fact they had consummated their wedding in the first month of their wedding in hope their their physical relationship will bring them together and it does work at some point. They both are comfortable with each other and spoke without any hesitation at this time.
His fingers trailed over her shoulder till her wrist, she shivered under his intense gaze. She submitted herself to him, tomorrow he might be not there beside her after her decision. She just wanted to live this moment and then cherish them till her last breath because she was sure, after giving her heart to him she will never be able to love anyone that is not him. She will spent her whole life with his memories. Taani belong to Rey, she is his and nothing can change that not even the path of separating she had chosen.
His arms circled around her petite figure as he pulled her into his arms. His head dipped in to crook of her neck, he slide the night gown off her body, leaving her naked in his arms. Taani sighed in pleasure feeling his lips on her skin, his touch was burning her. She whimpered at the lose of his body contact with hers as he lifted himself off her to get rid of his clothes. Rey leaned and kissed her on lips, pouring his unsaid feeling in it. Their bodies tangled with each other, he showered soft feathery kisses over her body, she clung onto him, moaning his name as he worshiped her body. They don'r understand what it it but it was something beautiful. It might be just a duty of a husband for him as she thought but for her it was everything for her. Rey glance at her before he parted her legs and entered in her, thrusting deep into her.
His body collasped on hers as they reached their earth shattering climax, he tighten his grip around her and he slept on her chest. Taani pulled the covers on and caressed his head lovingly. After placing a light kiss on his head she closed her eyes and let sleep take over her.

In morning, Rey was getting ready for his office, Taani was in kitchen preparing his breakfast. After taking his laptop bag Rey was about to left his room when his phone rang, Rey took out his phone and saw the called ID, It was sharon's call which surprised him as after his marriage she never called him nor he contact her.
"Hello" Rey picked up the call.
"Hello Rey. Can we meet. Please its really urgent." Sharon said from other side of call, she sounded scared which caused him to worry.
"Sharon is everything alright?" Rey asked her.
"No Rey. I can't tell you anything on phone. Please meet me at coffee shop near your office, I'll be there in half an hour." Sharon told him hurriedly before she cut the call. Without wasting a minute, Rey left from there in hurry, completely ignoring taani who was asking to him have his breakfast.
"Inhe kya hua achanak? Hope everything is fine" Taani thought to herself, confused and worried why he left in such hurry, ignoring her.

Rey entered the coffe shop as it was morning time, cafe was less crowdy. Rey went to the table she was sitting on. They both greeted each other with small smile. They had meet other after their marriages but they were all formal meetings, in business parties or friends get to gathers. It was first time they are meeting privately.
"Hey sharon, everything is okay? Why are you crying?" Rey asked in panicked worried tone when he saw her eyes filled with tears.
"Swayum is planning to divorce me." Sharon spoke with heavy heart.
"What? But why? Everything was alright between you two then what happened suddenly?" Rey questioned her coming out of his state of shock.
"Nothing was okay between us, Since the day one of our marriage I had treated him so badly. Never accepted him as my husband and now he is tired of all that Rey. he is leaving me but I can't leave with out him. I love him..I love him" Sharon cried bitterly, It has been quiet a time she had realized she had fallen in love with her husband and had got over Rey, her past but never got the courage to confess this to swayum.
Rey kept his hand on hers, in friendly manner, Before lovers they were best friends and he knew she need her friend at that moment. But what surprised him more was his own feelings, why he wasn't feeling hurt hearing she loves swayum not him. Instead of hurt he felt happy for her but he decided to think over his own feelings later as he had better work in his hands.
"Then go and talk to him, tell him you love him before it gets too late." Rey told her with smile. Sharon look at him and blinked her tears away.
"Not only me Rey, You too have to go and stop taani. Swayum and taani had planned to give us divorce so that you & me can be together again." Sharon told him after a moment of silence. Last night she had heard swayum's conversation with his lawyer and left heart broken thinking her husband had finally gave up on her and leaving her for her happiness but he doesn't know that her happiness is with him now, she was not the same sharon anymore. She had moved on from her past.
"What? Taani..divorce.." Her reverie broke hearing his broken voice, she glanced at him. His face was emotionless but she knew inside there was a storm of emotions going on. This news had broke his heart too.
