Confirmed! Deepika Padukone to play a cancer patient in Hindi adaptation of The Fault in our Stars'
Director Homi Adajania, who was working on the script of the Hindi adaptation of Hollywood hit film 'The Fault in Our Stars', has zeroed in on his leading lady.
Sources have confirmed that Homi's favourite Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of a cancer patient in this Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film. "Deepika will be playing the leading role in the Hindi adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars," said our sources.
The Hollywood film starred Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as Hazel and Augustus in the lead, and is an adaptation of John Green's novel of same name. Homi's Hindi adaptation will deal with the same topic but will have a touch of humour.
Deepika has earlier worked with Homi in films like Cocktail', Finding Fanny' and also Vogue's My Choice' video.
