It was a good episode...

As expected Salim agrees to Maanbai after Anar gives him her swear...

All including Jalal r happy, but Ruku upset as her plan flopped..

Jo meets salim and asks the reason behind his decision, but he refuses to tell more..

Jalal praises Jo for Salim's decision, but Jo refuses saying the decision is only of Salim and she fears for the outcome and then she asks Jalal what he will do if someday he has to choose btw her and his kingdom...Jalal replies that she will be his choice as she is his life...

Jo finds anar dancing to hide her pain and understands that Anar is the reason salim agreed for marriage..

precap : Jalal telling Jo that he understands Salim's pain..

Decent episode. The plot thickens but the pathetic acting of Salim almost ruins everything. He just does not have acting ability or royal presence. The screen space given to him needs to reduce or ratings will start slipping again.

hope this track will end by mid august... and later we get to see only AkDha and the golden days of his rule

I still believe they should have replaced Ravi Bhatia when they had the chance. If they could get some famous, glamorous actor with decent acting ability(and who wouldn't want to be Salim) this Mughal e Azam track could have been a blockbuster. A fresh Salim with his band of fans against an established Akbar in Rajat. Imagine it.

I believe even the makers of the serial don't have much confidence in Ravi, that is why his scenes are not so well developed.

I don't think any established actor will be ready to do Salim's character... coz the show is abt Akbar and his love , Jodha.. and though Salim is their son, still he will be always just another one like so many other actors in the show... and after this track, Salim's character will be reduced just like Rahim, or Maansing...

donjas i think they were planning to replace him but due to low trps they could not afford another high priced actor..now he is the face of salim and if trps go upto 4plus and stay there then if they want to end akhda tracks or show them less then they will have to get new salim who will be able to carry the show on his shoulders..i do not know if you watched siyaasat but those guys looked like real salim and were class actors..we need salim of that caliber if they want to show salim noor angle after salim anar...and noor becomes his wife after akbar's death, therefore akhda will vanish once they get new good salim again depending on trps!

I don't agree, actors would have been falling over backwards in their eagerness to do Salim. A chance to do a famous historical character comes rarely. Look at Paridhi, everyone knows her as Jodha. How many other TV actresses do people know. A lover boy like Salim, a character which the great Dilip Kumar enacted, is a chance worth grabbing on to, even for a cameo.
