What is the need for Shagun?

I dont understand why ekta has to bring shagun back again and again. No one wants to see her. Why doesn't she only concentrate on ishra. She can give us their mindblowing chemistry, then why is she behind shagun. I am tired of this shagun track. I feel like ekta will make a sad ending for ishra fans.
