' 'ummm lemme think' she pretended to be in deep thought and in next moment she turned on the other side 'no Mr.Raizada...I don't wanna be your partner' and walked away 'what the..' he uttered as he followed her making all laugh at them
She turned to look at him but he was nowhere, she felt bad that he didn't asked again but as she turned she bumped into him 'bhooo, did I scared you? ' he asked innocently 'not at all...I am not a kid to get scared...' she replied back 'yeah yeah I can see that' he said rolling his eyes 'if you are done can I go?' She asked and started to leave 'hey khush...come on yaar...why you can't be my partner?' He asked making a sad face 'awww arnie...you look so cute with such face...' she said giggling
'It wasn't the answer of my question' he asked with a straight face 'ohkay fine...don't turn into an angry young man...you look good in arnie avatar only' she chuckled 'again...not my answer' he said 'uffu well I know that you are handsome and dashing but that doesn't mean that I will give in to this offer easily' she answered pulling her imaginary collar 'what the...so what you want me to do?' 'You are Challenging Arnav Singh Raizada...' he asked in full on ASR tune 'of course I am...I had heard a lot about your attitude that you can't even go on your knees for any girl so how about changing the history...go on your knees and ask me to be your partner...' 'not bad Khushi Kumari Gupta...looks like we will have lot of fun in this wedding...challenging ASR is not so easy...' All the elders were discussing about functions preparation and youngsters were busy in practicing for sangeet and after a small nap khushi too joined them 'ara khushi ji...where were you?' Asked anjali as she stopped dancing with shyam 'wo anjali ji...I had a conference call in afternoon and it continued for 2 hours...I was so tired that I slept and woke up now only...' she explained 'oh..I hope It went well waisa khushi ji you must be hungry as you didn't even had lunch so come I will serve you food' anjali offered
'No no anjali ji...let it be' khushi said 'I will manage...HP ji will serve mee' she added 'han ohkie khush...go and have your lunch and then come soon as we have to plan about group dance too' lavanya jumped in the conversation and slightly pushed khushi towards dinning area and returned to her spot where she was practicing her steps with NK
As khushi walked towards dinning table she again bumped into arnav 'do you like bumping into peoples or I am special' he asked 'special? Ahh in your dreams...' she replied with a not so interested look 'not fair khush...it's the second time in just 5 hours that you bumped in me and yeah not to forgot that you find me handsome and dashing so May be I am right and if there is something like this then you can tell me...' he kept saying but wanted to laugh out a loud on her embarrassed facial expression as he revealed to her about her confession regarding his looks
'What happen khushi? Lost your tongue? ' he asked 'you know what I don't wanna talk to you?' She stormed her foot and walked away 'irritating her is so fun...' he laughed and made his way to hall
When khushi returned to hall her eyes landed on him who also had his eyes fixed on her, she poked her tongue to him and looked at lavanya 'laa I am here...can we start practicing? ' she asked 'sorry dear...we are still practicing couple performance...you have to wait for a while...' informed the dance teacher 'ohh' her face fell as she went and sat on one of the couch
Khushi eyed arnav as he continued typing something on mobile 'so much of attitude yaar...can't he just ask me straight away...i want to do dance' she fake silent cry as she saw the three beautiful couple busy in dancing...not wanting to sit there and get bore she thought to do some work until they finish with there practice...
As she was leaving she was stopped as someone held her hand , she turned to find the great ASR on his knees, elders in the hall stood up from there respective places while youngsters stopped dancing 'Khushi..' he called out 'chotte what's going on..?' Asked divyani 'nani let me complete please..so khushi I want to ask you that will you...will you?' He acted to be hesitant while everyone in the hall held there breath hearing him while she seemed lost, even though she knew he will ask her as per the challenge she felt so special suddenly
'Will you be my Partner?' He asked winking at her 'I am waiting khushi' he said bringing her out of her thoughts 'uhh han...yes' she answered 'I knew it...' he smiled widely 'so I won the challenge' he announced a loud 'wait a minute...what the hell was going on ?' Nk asked as almost everyone nodded there head repeating Nk's question 'khushi wanted to have fun so I thought to do something for her so that she can have fun...so khushi did you had fun?' Arnav asked turning to him 'uhhh yeah...' she replied glaring at him while he shrugged 'agar ap sab ka hogaya ho to shall we continue?' asked the dance teacher 'yes yes mam..they are done ...we are sorry for the disturbance' akash said shaking his head
'Well you two too join us...so that I can tell you about the steps we practiced today' she turned to arnav and khushi and they also joined them and the evening went by in same way...
It was now late at night and all the elders were retired to there respective rooms and youngsters were having fun 'hey how about truth and dare..let's play' shyam suggested 'good Idea...let's play...' anjali said and everyone else also agreed...The game started and one by one everyone were asked to do some dare or answer any question honestly
It was now arnav's turn 'I will go with dare...' he announced 'can he do 200 push ups?' Khushi asked '200 push ups...' lavanya repeated 'yes can he?' 'Arnie can do 500 push ups also khush...he was champion in his college days...' akash said 'let's see' khushi said
Arnav started to do push ups without stopping for a moment...khushi starred at him with wide eyes and as he was done with it in no time which khushi thought 'told ya' akash said 'next time try to think something which Arnav Singh Raizada can't do' arnav told her straight in a challenging tune while khushi shrugged and looked away
'My turn..my turn' khushi said as the bottle pointed at her now 'so truth or dare?' Nk asked 'umm truth' she replied 'tell us something about yourself Miss.Gupta' arnav interrupted 'what about me?' She asked confused 'well as you see everyone here knows each other very well except you ..only payal and lavanya knows you well..so tell us something about yourself' he explained 'like?' 'Like what do you do...about your family...especially your mom dad' arnav said
At the mention of mom khushi's smile died which was playing on her lips...payal and lavanya looked at each other wide eyed and scared for khushi...just this one word brought so many horrible memories to khushi 'umm arnie can't you change your question? ' asked lavanya 'ara why? Let her speak..we too wanna know' nk jumped in, lavanya tried to signal nk to keep quite but stopped hearing her
'Well..I am Khushi Kumari Gupta..born in India but shifted New York when I was 16...now i look after the business empire my father started...and my family...if you wanna know about my current family then I will say that it's payal and lavanya only!! And yeah my parents...my mo...mom and dad..mom..I don't know who my mom was neither I wanna know, I never got her love in my entire life not because God wanted it but because she wanted it..she left me when i was too young to understand the meaning of love, to feel a mother's love, too young to know that she never ever loved me...today I don't know where she is but one thing I was told is she is happy with her so called husband and a daughter...and my dad...he was not only my dad he was my everything...a father when I am hurt...a mother when I need her..a friend when I am alone...a teacher when I do something wrong..a supporter...a companion..he was my role model...my only family other than payal and lavanya..but due to my ill faith I lost him too..now I am alone...all alone' she chuckled sadly as she looked up to all others
Lavanya and payal were now by her side and as she looked at them they wiped her tears and took her in a group hug and she sobbed in there arms..finally as she composed herself she looked at others only to find them starring at her...they were also weeping with her 'I am sorry...I ruined the game but I can't do anything...it's just that with the only mention of her bring lots of painful memories...I am sorry' she apologized and left
'Salay sahab you shouldn't had asked her about it...' shyam said 'no jija ji...it's not arnav's fault...no one knew about it..I and la will go after her...' payal said as she stood up 'umm payal...can I go?' Arnav asked and even before she realized she nodded allowing him to go and sat back...payal didn't knew why she agreed even when she was aware that khushi and arnav just met a day before but there was something in his eyes which made her agree...what was it? Pity? No it wasn't pity but then..then what was it?...she kept busy in her thoughts but didn't reached at some conclusion so left everything on God praying for Khushi's happiness
