It seemed like nothing much happened today but I thinkall the players are now positioned in way that they will play out their roles in the future.

Things I liked:

Akbar: He came acrossasthe Shahenshah . He has made it clear that his responsibilities and duties extend beyond the family. He understands emotions but knows that in certain situations emotions and feelings have to be kept aside. He had to fight to build his empire pretty much on his own. He knows that the love and respect of the people cannot be taken for granted. Once respect is lost you are pretty much on your way out. Perception is everything. He is not going to give in to Salim's love at the cost of his promise to Bhagwantdas, Maanbai's feelings and the respect that the people have for the Royal family.

Anarkali: She again came through with flying colors. Her understanding and maturity are starkly in contrast to Salim's immature rantings of Jung. She definitely understands the realities of life much better than her Saaheb-e-Alam.

Salima and Hamida: I am so glad that they showed some kind of involvement of theseladies. The Hamida-Salim scene was very sweet. The love and warmthbetween grandma-grandsonwas shown beautifully.

Salima: She just comes across as such a genuinely nice person. So calm, so giving. No jealousy or resentment.

Rukaiyya- Hoshiyar: this was a comic scene with a hidden message I think. She wants to snatch everything that Jo has and the flowers represent that. But then she is forced to give those flowers back to Jo when Hoshiyar dear brings them to her in front of Jo. That was a funny scene.😆

Maanbai entry: How sweet was she? Looking around for Salim. So heart wrenching. The expression of anticipation of seeing her love. So cute. Reminded me of my teenage years and my first crushShe looks like she can kiss the ground Salim walks on. Poor thing! She has no clue what her life is going to be like. I hope Salim is at least kind to her.

Jodha: She is stuck in the middle and that is the way it is going to be from here on so hang on tight!

And I think I caught a glimpse of Birbal today!!! Yea! He is alive!!

All in all not a bad episode

the episode was a build up for the future, and so would be the upcoming epis, salim's arrogant behavior would further piss off Akbar and he would finally loose it and capture anarkali, leading to salim jalal war.

Jalal is perfect , a perfect king who knows his duties as shehenshah are above all⭐️

Jodha hopefully would remain silent in this track, coz this time akbar won't listen to her and would punish sanar, its so funny at times that cvs butcher akbar's character and show him as a baby who would listen only what jodha says to a strong king suddenly who punishes his son extremely and jodha can't stop him😆

Sanar scenes r annoying so no comments🥱

p.s how many times would they replace maan bai's mothers 🤪

Birbal was shown for a fleeting moment. Was Jalal planning something with him???

I am liking only Jalal's portrayal in this track. I am amazed at Jodha's portrayal as she is just not worried about his brother's honour or Maanbai's feelings. For her Salim's feelings are of utmost importance and I feel here she has been portrayed as a selfish mother.Here Jalal is shown to so considerate towards Jodha's family but she is finding him wrong in this as well.

Anarkali's character as you rightly said has been shown to be more sensible than that lovestruck Salim, but a better actress was required to play this role.

- jallu : yes he is a great shahenshah , for him the promises and words he said are his honour and i understand his pov but beside a shahenshah he is a father too, the problem between jallu and salim is that lack communication between them, when jallu announced engagement he didnt bother to ask salim first, i knew he want to gave surpised for salim but can he at least asked him if the girl is right or not , in salim case jallu almost never show the father side it always shahenshah even when jodha told him to take easy with salim he would listen so in the end it always clash of the titan, jallu indeed no doubt a great king but he is far from great as a father, dont get me wrong i love jallu but i wont blind to his flaw and i dont know if you notice but everytime jallu and salim in fight he always address salim as " ur son " to jodha, but when salim did sth good he address salim as " my son" its as salim his son as long as he behave nicely, for jallu there is one some words from chinesse historical serial that suit him, it said " i would prefer you to be a great father rather then a great king, because if you are be a great father you will be a great king, but being a great king doesnt mean you can be a great father "

- jodha : she is caught between father and son, she understand both pov and she is concern if the marriage still on salim mann bai anar will suffer, as mother of course she want her son happy and as meh she dont want her shahenshah reputation got tarnish, but jodha is jodha she is stub born like jallu and salim too and now since no one can give her advice to solve salim anar matter she will take the matter by her own way but since last night they show birbal may be he will advice sth to jodha, now all we can do is wait and see how jodha will solve this matter and bring peace between father and son.

- salim : i know some people didnt like how he behave like romeo and didnt bother his positon as a crown prince and his duty but i understand his feeling and his stand to fight for his love, like i said many times he still carried the wound from his childhood, he said to jodha that jallu treat him like enemy not a father, he never saw or feel jallu as a father, he had that kind opinion too for jodha but he realised lately that jodha love him and he remembered the sweet memory with jodha, but in jallu case he didnt have that kind memory, all he remember jallu always angry and give him punishment never try to listen to him, in his wound heart here come anar who love him for the man himself not a prince, she dont judge him, thats why salim so fond to anar, bout mann bai may be salim cant feel anything now since he hasnt spend time with her, but he know mann bai very nice person i remember one scene in God track when mann singh escape from prisoner and accused as betrayed, that time when she ask salim to taking care her baisa touch salim heart he said himself she is very nice and kind, so i guess if the marriage on he can at least love her a little because she is very sweet girl

- ruq : what can we said bout her , her jealously towards jodha eating her soul, after so many years she still want to snatch everything that belong to jodha, but the flower things quite funny , its like symbolic what belong to jodha will come back to her 😆

- hamida : this time even hamida cant pacify salim

i cant wait for tonight episode . . its interesting how jodha jallu and salim to solve the problem 😊

I felt yesterday's epi had many scenes but short ones.
They have covered many ppl in it.
Akdha-Aram Banu scene was the cutest and Ruk-Hoshiyar-Jo was the funniest scene.lol
Yes Birbal was shown but had no dialogues written for him 😆
Anarkali has all the qualities to become MEH if only she had not been a rakasa..I think there wouldn't gave been any objections.. Had Akbar not promised Bhagvan Das..he might have considered Salim's love though she is a rakasa I think.
But for him his vachan comes first being the Shehensha and can't be blamed.
Salim is ready to wage a war against his father and called him magroor shehensha infront of Hamida 😡 .Though his pain is understandable, I didn't like it.
Its strange that Akbar is lecturing Jodha abt a would be bride's dreams and expectations..Jodha is a woman and she knows better...but she is a helpless mother now.
Excited for the precap..donno what is Jodha up to!!
The new person playing man bai's mother is better than previous lady.She has some kind of royalty I feel.

I agree with u dear..Akbar is a great king but definitely not a good father.
The punishments he gave to Salim were way bigger than his mistakes always.So its natural that Salim feels he doesn't love him.

Another interesting and incisive analysis. Thank you.

My opinion. Akbar is the lynchpin of this track, if he behaves the way we expect him to behave, based on the movie Mughal e Azam, then Rajat's talent alone will ensure that this track will turn out to be one of the best of the series. Till now, touch wood, he is doing just fine.

Maan Bai and Anarkali are both very sympathetic characters. Since in history, Anarkali has no existence, can't really say much about her. Maan Bai however lived a very interesting and ultimately tragic life. Once could argue that Maan Bai was Salim's first real love. When she died, he did not eat or drink for 3 days.

I think her journey in the Mughal household will be similar to Jodha. First, being ignored, even insulted and finally finding love.
