Kundan - Urmila: Rab ne bana di jodi

Looks like Kundan has found a good match in Urmila. If he is high on hormones and wants a wife for his lust, Urmila seems to be strong enough to look out for herself. I feel bad for Urmila because nobody deserves a husband like Kundan. Even Harki has my sympathies in that aspect. But, unlike Harki, Urmila will not bow down to Kundan. Makes me wonder how Urmila's mother taught her to dominate over Nimboli, but never bothered to give her sex education.

On the other hand, if Kundan is not getting what he wants fro m his wife, it might cause trouble for Nimboli.

yes, Kundan may now try to use nimboli. She has no one's support but she does have a knife.

Parents here don't talk about sex education - even in cities but more so in villages (any amount of sex education would not have saved Urmi - it is Kundan who needs education). Urmi's mother asked her to dominate over Nimboli was because she thought her daughter should get all the rights of wife - not the other girl. It was about survival of her daughter where she would have to deal with a sautan right from start. A wrong advice - but mothers are selfish for their daughter.

True that nothing could have saved Urmi. My comment was on the WU line where Urmi wonders "So this is suhaag raat". I haven't watched the episode, so I am going by the WU.

Agreed parents might not initiate sex education, but girls talk about it amongst themselves. Especially when a girl is about to be married, this teasing goes on all the time between friends. Was surprised this was not the case with Urmi.
