The rumours about Anita Hassanandani aka Shagun quitting Ye Hai Mohabbatein have been finally put to rest, with the actress set to make a comeback on the show.
Her return is expected to introduce a twist in the tale. Her character Shagun, who otherwise leaves no stone unturned to create trouble for Raman and Ishita, will turn a new leaf on the show. She will be now seen in a positive light. She'll also have a new name, Ruhi Arora who is a completely different person based in Mumbai and running her own NGO.
When asked about it, Anita said, "I had never quit the show. I had just gone on a big holiday as I was shooting continuously. My track was altered to show my absence on the show. The news of me quitting or my roles ending were all rumours. I'm too excited to get back on the screen. I have already resumed shooting and was happy to meet everyone after so long. The holiday was a nice break and the next few months I will only be shooting for Ye hai Mohabbatein.
