Chapter 1:
Swara looked at herself in the mirror. The new uniform really suited her. Her hair were still in the original, spiral curls, but the amazing uniform made her good looks stand out.
"Swara, are you ready?" Ragini came in. She had her hair in the usual plait, and her uniform was neatly arranged.
Hogwarts was a special place, and Muggles (Not a single drop of magical blood), like her and Ragini were, would never get in.
"Yep!" Swara grabbed her bag and began heading towards the doors, when her Mum stopped her.
"Swara, Ragini, have you packed everything?" She inquired.
Swara and Ragini both nodded.
"Yes Mother," Ragini replied.
"Come on Ragini! Otherwise we'll miss the train!" Ragini tucked on Ragini's arm.
"Wait Swara, first say goodbye to our parents," Ragini hugged her Mum.
"Bye Mum," Swara hugged her.
"Hey, where's Dad?" She asked, looking around.
"His waiting in the car to drop you two off at the station," Sharmishtha wiped her tears.
"Oh great! Bye Mum!" Swara ran towards the car.
"Bye Swara! Ragini, please look after her, sometimes she can too childish," Sharmishtha said.
Ragini smiled.
"Don't worry Mother, I will take care of her!" Then she grabbed her bags and headed towards the car.
*~*~*~*~*
"Nine and three quarters? Where the hell are we supposed to find that?" Swara looked at her ticket.
"Let's ask that officer," Ragini recommended.
"Excuse me sir, but can you tell us where station nine and three quarters is?" Ragini asked.
"You think I'm mad? No such thing kiddo," The man snickered.
Swara sighed, when she noticed a family wearing the same uniform as her.
"Hey, let's ask them!" Swara rushed towards them, making sure not to drop her stuff.
"Excuse me, but can you tell us where we can find station nine and three quarters?" Swara asked.
There was a lady, round and middle aged, and a man, also middle aged.
There were three children, a girl, possibly two three years younger, a boy a few years older, and another boy, who she couldn't see.
"Sure dear, it's our Laksh's first time too. You see that board," She pointed towards a wall with nine on either side.
"Run right in the middle of it," The lady smiled.
"Thank you," Swara signalled Ragini to come over.
"Okay, here it goes!" Swara rushed forward, her eyes closed, she felt a sudden force and a tiny breeze.
She opened her eyes and found herself in a complete different station.
She looked at the sign, and it read nine and three quarters.
She waited for Ragini, who came in after.
"Ragini! Look, that's our train! We better get on it!" Swara pulled Ragini and ran towards the train.
"I'm sorry Ma'am, but this section is full, only one of you two can come in, the other has to go the other side," A officer said.
"Fine, Ragini, you stay here, I'll go," Swara said.
"No Swara, I'll go, you stay," Ragini smiled.
"But-".
"Go!".
Swara sighed and then waved bye to Ragini, as she looked for a seat to sit in, where she found a little hub, where she found a boy staring out of the window. She slid the door open.
"Um, hi, can I sit here, the others are full," Swara gave her best smile.
The moment the boy turned around; there seemed to be some kind of trance, mist between them. They just stared into each other's eyes.
Finally, snapping out, the boy smiled.
"Sure," He replied.
Swara smiled and sat down.
"I'm Swara," She took out her hand.
"I'm Laksh," The boy said, shaking the hand.
When the train began rumbling and shaking.
"Please remain in your seat, this is not a drill!" A voice in the microphone said, but even through that, Swara could recognise a hint of anxiety and stress.
Suddenly, a large ball of fire skimmed past their windows.
She slid the door open, and her eyes widened in shock...
