Gaurav Sharma may be on a professional high with three shows ('Dream Girl', 'Total Nadaniyaan' and 'Ek Laqshya') on air, but in real life, he's feeling emotionally low. He recently split with his girlfriend, and though the relationship lasted just for four months, it has been difficult for him to get over her.
"I broke up after her birthday last month. I am not over it yet and it is painful," says Gaurav, adding, "It's not just girls who feel the pain after a break up, men also feel deeply dejected and hurt. It is really hard for a man to pick up pieces of his wounded heart and move on. Heartbreak is equally painful for guys."
So, what caused the split? "My profession. She wanted a financially stable life and has decided to marry a guy of her parents' choice," he replies. Ask him what's keeping him going during the difficult phase and he replies, "I spend a lot of time with my family. Friends also keep me occupied."
