With the exit of talented Emon, Sony TV is denying rumours that there is
no rigging in Indian Idol Voting process.


Sony Entertainment Television is strongly denying the rumours going
around that there is some rigging going in Indian Idol voting process. An
offical source said, "We have a reputed third
party organization which audits the voting process, which is very fair. People
are wrongly blaming us for Emon's and Chang's Ouster, You don't vote for the
right singer, and then cry about a lesser person coming ahead. Prashant has a
sizable number of people in his home area and the police force who are voting en
block , so he is winning."




The source went on, "Don't the judges (Alisha wanted to walk out ) also
complain about audiences voting pattern? Although Emon was a good singer, we
alway knew that he will be out, because he did not have required public
support."

On the question of making the vote figures public, our
source said, "The format( Indian idol is
international format) does not allow for the same . And secondly, if we do give
the voting figures, will it not affect the next rounds result?". Taking a
dig at the opposition, the source further went on to say that both those
shows(Sa Re Gama SVOI) are homegrown and could have had the judges saving the
contestants( which we cannot do, due to above format restriction) , but even
then they prefer to ape us.

When reminded that something similar had
happened during Qazi victory in Fame Gurukul2, the source empathetically denied
any wrong doing even then too. "We Indian's
like the underdog and support him, hence Qazi came ahead.. So please vote for
your favorite contestant rather then just crib."

I can smell the above news a fake one. I don't think Sony says "Prashant has a sizable number of people in his home area and the police force who are voting en block , so he is winning." Why they have to bring example of Prashant here?

This whole clarification is a fake one. This must be coming out from their worries on reduced number of votes as the result of recent rumors. Yes, we have heard Amit is to be picked as the winner, no matter what may be the vote count. That is how this program is already designed. If I know my vote is not going to be counted on, then why should I vote?

if you dont believe in all the indian idol things better not watch it, you cant do anything rather than frustrating yourself

just enjoy with whats going on around
they are fair and everything happens for good

prashant and amit (who are well below in singing compared to saregamapa) contestents have now got better familiarity than those, rocking all over india and nepal. nobody would have known them if indian idol was not there. an upcoming talent needs a platform and that what they got from sony.
take example some of the well trained contestents like aisha, bhavin, santanu, smita got eliminated early without being able to show their real talent. both prashant and emon must be lucky in that they got the full episodes in their hand.

believe in your self, the result depends on whose fans or voters can spend much money in voting wins,

i wish prashant wins the contest

Good luck for you if you are going to vote. Yeah, for Prashant and Amit, they are already winners to get such a wonderful position. But there still is something special to be a formal winner, which has to be decided in the final show by the public vote. Unfortunately, it is going to be a show of declaring a pre-selected winner. Yeah, that is why I am not interested to waste my money although I will be enjoying all concerts and shows to be aired.

rumor is rumor
post here a solid proof that amit is going to win, i will not vote for prashant.
