(Armaan's POV)
While I was deep drowned in my thoughts, smirked and said "Miss Riddhima Gupta ...be ready...You'll be having a tough time in handling me... your Oh-so-Angry-Mr.Supercool"
After getting ready I decided to go down but as soon I saw Shanaya all ready sitting there waiting for no one but me, all my inner demons awaked and shouted for a big No..!! Indeed it was not at all a good idea to move down this time..It can turn tables against me, I gave a thought to it and ran back to my room just like a thief, before anyone could have seen me and I would have ended listening Shanaya's so-not-sensible talks.
Shutting the door behind all panting I smiled at my little act full of stupidity..It was surely because of Riddhima...falling in love with her actually had put a break over my sensible thoughts. I chuckled at my actions but for a change I was in no mood to tolerate this Shanaya...My so-called-would-be-wife.
After failing in several attempts miserably, to not let my stupid Jungli Billi enter in my mind, I sighed and smacked my forehead. "This Jungli Billi have surely turned her tables on me without being aware" I thought. Though it was nothing new for me, The day I had laid my eyes on her, the day I have seen her...all I did was think and think and think about her. Everything about her makes me go all gaga and crazier about her.
Sometimes I really think what this woman was really made up of. In Manali, I was well aware about the fact that she too had fallen for me the time we first met at station, well trust me..That feeling was heaven to me. All I wanted was her acceptance. I have kept a very close watch on her each and every expression she gave and trust me when I say this..Each time she made that cute irresistible cute pouts, it became more difficult on my part to control my inner demons and not kiss her rose petals.
Well to be honest somewhere I knew that I was doing wrong with her. Though I haven't expected that one meet is all she need to fall in love with me but somewhere deep down guilt took place. A guilt which said that maybe she too like someone else and I am coming between but her expressions soon rubbed that guilt off my heart. All I could do was remember her face which shows enormous of emotions flooding on her face. And when I looked into her eyes I exactly know she was having a fight between her mind and heart.
Well, she had that effect on me. I had never felt this feeling for any girl in my entire life, either way I never felt like going close to anybody. Okay, so you must be thinking now why I was letting that Shanaya to come close to me. Well people you must have heard about Jealousy. I really believe my Jungli Billi is so innocent that whatever I did or I am doing is surely going to affect her. So like a loyal lover, I really wanted to see that over-possessive side of her. And well my plan again worked, she was literally burning in jealousy.
Like you will remember the first night dinner with family, firstly she was already annoyed with the fact that she was late and to add an icing to already burnt Riddhima Gupta, I choose to ignore her only if she knew that how much difficult it is for me to ignore someone who affects you like anything. Her constant stares told me that she was expecting not a word but at least a smile or some greeting but even I was helpless. I wanted her to realize her feelings on her own.
Oh My Goodness, I was like all ready to spill the food out of my mouth and laugh till my stomach started to pain. When Shanaya was serving me food and literally pushing herself on me her face was worth watching. Though for a fact I hated that closeness and her touch but for a change more than I hate her, I love to see the expressions on my Angel's face.
Well again what we call destiny played its card and she, from nowhere came, crashing on my chest and I saved her from falling. And after that the whole scenario, really I felt like to never ever let this Angel go away from me. My arms around her waist and eyes staring into hers, I really wished that moment to stop. All I wanted was to feel her close to me and held her in my arms forever. And well her eyes were telling the same story like me.
. Well I couldn't thank my stars enough to grant my wish soon of having her in my arms. Her eyes tight shut in fear. Well she looked cute..Even better adorable...My angel...as she opened her eyes...I was so lost in the beauty of her eyes. They were so pure yet expressive.
But soon I was returned from my lala land as I heard Miss Shanaya the witch, okay I know what Riddhima call her, she just shouted seeing a cockroach, scaring me to death, and I just end up leaving Riddhima and she directly landed on floor. But I guess it was a time to burn my Miss Attitude in jealousy a little more. I made my way towards Shanaya and calmed her down. I very well knew about the angry glares of my cute Jungli Billi on me but what to do...as we say "Kuch pane ke liye kuch khona padhta hai.." [To earn something first we have to lose against it..]
And well my plan really does work. She was all ready to leave that same cockroach, if only it was there, behind Shanaya. Her eyes were telling her story that how much hurt she was and anger she was feeling. And so I just left Shanaya and went to my Angel. Hurting her was never my intention so I just end up helping her. And I guess she have forgiven me the second I looked into her eyes showing my real emotions to her.
Well I know when we have shared an eye-lock she had seen the love in my eyes only if she could have really known my intensity of love. I just couldn't control myself looking in her eyes and I end up saying which my heart really wanted to spill out.
"Waise...I know I am way too handsome and sexy to control...that you are not able to tear your gaze away from me...like on that platform...then car...and then dinner...now here too..But let me tell you...If you keep ogling and steal glances at me...one day for sure you will fall for me..."
I winked at her and left from there not before uttering "Paagal Jungli Billi" , much audible to her. I very well knew that as I have said those words her cheeks would have turned a shade of dark red. How I wish to stare at her when she blush..But I guess I have to wait for that because my Miss Attitude is way too innocent. I chuckled hearing the word innocent and instantly added sometimes' to it.
She was an open book to me, her eyes speaks her heart out to me. But as soon I realized that probably she had felt my emotions and have seen something more in my eyes for her, every time I have to immediately let go of her.
Well..Talking about next incident happened was her "Winter Wardrobe" one. I seriously don't understand that a person like her..I mean a girl who loves this season to the core..How can she just afford to hate it..This Girl really amazes me at times..!! Well...I have seen that eagerness, that hope in her eyes...Like a 5 year old kid asking her Mum for her favorite chocolate.
I have seen how much she craves to just enjoy this winter. And have her cold coffee with her favorite chocolate ice-cream. Well people don't get shock...Trust me I know her better than she knows herself. Well I came to know this when I saw her for the second time during college fest.
FLASHBACK
It was a day-off for the students as there were nothing scheduled for the day being. But for a change it was a bit chilly out there. Everyone was planning for sightseeing and some enjoyable moments with their friends. But one person was there sitting on her bed with a pout on her lips and while scrunching her nose she uttered "No...mujhe nahi jana kahi bhi.." [No..I don't wanna go anywhere]
Her friends looked at her helplessly giving her irritated looks while one of them said "What's the problem yaar...See its such a wonderful weather outside...and you are not only spoiling our moods but even our only day-off we got."
"Ridzy...come on yaar...stop being a big baby...I know why you are not coming with us...But girl it's not necessary you'll catch cold..There are hundreds of people going out..Then why can't you just.."
Riddhima snapped at her friend stopping her to say anything and said "I have made myself clear...mai nahi jaungi...toh nahi jaungi...tum log jaao and have fun..." She said while turning her face to other side showing her disinterest in further conversation.
Her friends sighed and while muttering "You'll regret.." they left the room and even chuckled at the behavior. She can be too stubborn at times.
Well...unaware of them...this scene was witness by the other two pair of eyes standing near the door. He couldn't help but think what can be the reason behind it.
Exactly...Armaan has somehow managed to find about her with the help of his friends. He came to know about her name and from where she belongs, in India. He smiled knowing she was from the same place where he lived before he settled in London for his studies.
He chuckled at his thoughts while searching for her room number. He just can't wait more to get a glimpse of her. Already it was a sleepless night for him when he was out with a friend for a walk in late evening, when he saw her with her some friends near a small lake playing and laughing around just like child.
She was not looking less than a princess... "My Angel" ...He thought...He just kept staring at her the time he had laid his eyes on her "Beautiful" the word instantly escaped his mouth. Even before he realized, his friend was standing beside him was smirking at his expressions.
His friend just gave a thought and helped him to know about her. And here he is searching for her room. He abruptly stopped near a door half open while listening to the sound of his Angel probably whinning like a big baby. He chuckled at her cute antics and listen carefully about the matter. He came to know about the fact that she hate cold season to no extent.
After her friends left her alone in the room, he first thought to enter inside but then thought against it. Probably it's not the right time seeing her state and hearing her cute banter with herself. She looked so cute that time that his eyes were not ready to move an inch away from her face. All he wished her to be with him forever.
After she was finish with her mumbling she stare at the window with some unshed tears in her eyes. Armaan closely noticed her change of expressions every minute and he could easily see the craving for the season in her eyes. It was as simple we can say a child craving for an ice-cream which his parents was not letting him to eat.
She stood near window and slowly but hesitantly moved her hand out of the window to feel the water drops but soon withdrew it and with an irritated look she came and shut the door and went to change. Armaan, sighing, made his way towards his room and sat near window thinking about her.
He very well have understood that she was a child from inside who really wanted to enjoy her favourite cold and rainy season but because of any stupid childish reason she is stopping herself to do so.
FLASHBACK END
He smiled at the day's memories. Her sweet gestures and cute antics had made him go all crazy about her. He was so desperate to pour out his feelings to her but he was helpless. All he can do was wait for the time when she will take the initiative to stand for their relation..their love.
His thoughts were broken with the sound of a car stopped infront of the house. He made his way towards the window and look down to see his angel stepping out of the car. He stared at her closely and saw her puffy eyes. Smile vanished from his face when he saw the condition she was in. She was looking like she hadn't eaten well from last few days.
The glow which use to shine on her face and the spark in her eyes whenever she use to smile was missing. He somewhere understood it's all because the of that Siddhant's marriage proposal. All he was doing was to wait for the right time to play his cards so that she will herself accept and confess her feelings for him.
But his heart broke for numerous times seeing her like this. He knew maybe he is not doing the thing in right way. Seeing her state had surely made his mind that he has to turn the tables soon. He have to make sure that she didn't get to suffer much. She was too innocent to get hurt.
He was hoping that even for only a second she will look upwards and as if sensing someone's gaze her eyes searched for someone but before she could have get to see him someone called her and dropping the idea she moved in.
He chuckled in irritation. He knew there are many people in the house and it is almost impossible to meet her alone and spend some time with her. Technically she is here to meet Siddhant..but only if Mr. Armaan Mallik will let her too.
His mind was already clouded with the naughty yet mischeivious thoughts rather plans to get his Angel. Because he had always knew one thing 'where there is will, there is the way'. And no matter what..he will find the way to reach his Jungli Billi.
He made his way down the stairs in excitement like a baby running to get his favourite candy. All of a sudden his steps halted at the last step when he saw her smiling and laughing with his Mom. He knew his Mom too well, she must have noticed her face lack of genuine smiles. He thanked his Mom in his mind and smiled towards her showing his gratitude to make her smile.
Mrs. Mallik too smiled at him, though she knew she was the one who kept that condition of Riddhima taking the initiative but still she is the mother end of the day. When she went to receive the Iyers, she had noticed his son's expressions standing at the window staring at Riddhima, irrespective of her surroundings.She knew her job, being a mother, she can't see her son's smile fading at any cost.
Riddhima, too, noticed the small eye conversation between them but simply choose to ignore as through out the journey she have settled this in her mind that she didn't belonged here, to him. It was destiny that brought her there and now the destiny will be the one to decide where she actually belongs, be it her Mr.Supercool or Siddhant.
Through out the journey Riddhima was dwelling with her thoughts. She was literally stuck in two-way traffic and wasn't even aware which way to choose. One way leads her to the path of love, the way she really wants to walk on but the other way holds her back and shouts that this is the way your parents have chosen for you, you can't just get away from it like that.
All the time she was surrounded by her past moments spent with him. The eye-locks, stares she gave him, his mysterious silence, unspoken words yet to be spoken, his eyes speaking volumes, different feeling she felt when around him...everything...everything about him.
She was brought back to the reality when felt his hands on her arms as if waking her up from a dream. She saw him all concerned about her. It was as if she was touched by an electric wire she shrugged his hand away. He was a little surprised by her action.
When he saw his mother had left Riddhima and went to attend some other guest he made his way towards her. He called her for like 2-3 times but she didn't respond neither moved. He knew something was eating her up from inside, so while she was busy in her thoughts he held her from his arms and called her back to the real world.
But her action of shrugging away his hand did surprised him rather hurt him a little. He expected a friendly convo though but knowing her inner turmoil he have to be her side like her best friend. He smiled at her and said "Hey Jungli Billi...So How are you..?"
She smiled a little and said "I am perfectly fine..You say..How are you Mr. Armaan..?"
"Mr. Armaan.." he said giving an amused yet shocked expressions to her and continued "Oh My God...So much of respect...How..? Where is your typical word..what was that...yeah Mr.Oh-so-not-Supercool...!"
"I am sorry for calling you that..! I guess I acted way too childish and innocent..! And Sorry for all the stupid things I did..." She said and turned her face away from him.
"What are you saying...? As much I have seen you last month..you weren't like this..! And let me remind you...we are best friends..so from where this sorry came in between us..?"
"No Armaan...now nothing is same between us...last month...It was the most awsum time I had in my life...but I guess that was it..I just can't be a friend to you anymore...! I am sorry..! And...And Congratulations..you and Shanaya ..both look good together.." And with that she moved away and got busy with some guests from Siddhant's side.
He was taken a back seeing her saying the things which he wasn't able to understand. He wasn't able to comprehend in which way her thoughts were heading but what he knew was he have to act fast before she step into something where there is no point of return.
He, a little disheartened, made his way in the back side of the house where there is a small lake between the greenery. The place was very calm and peaceful and he knew he needed fresh air to digest her words. He sat on the ground staring particularly no where but water.
Though her words were quite normally spoken, but, he very well understood the deep meaning hidden behind it. All the pain she have had endured was clearly visible in her eyes. He very well knew what she wanted to convey and so he decided that this was it. He is no more gonna wait for her to take that initiative but he will do anything and everything in his power to get her back.
