Guys!

This is highly disappointing. My work that I have posted on this forum has been posted on other sites.

The work has been posted as some one else's work and this is plagiarism.

I write because I like writing and I have no issues with my work posted else where but do so with my knowledge and giving due credit.

Honestly this is disgusting and now I know why a lot of members are not posting their work!

Grow up you bloody idiots !

P.S- Im discontinuing writing on this forum for the time being.

Ohh God!! It's terrible! I agree that you can't just randomly point fingers at anyone but something has to be done in this case.

I hope the person is reading this post and understand that this is not right! Every work of a writer requires a lot of time and hard work

I personally request that person to please remove your work from those websites and if possible apologies to you through PM!

Oh dear! Am soo sorry that it happened to you..

Been thru that hell, so I know how annoyed and angry you must be feeling..

They're a bunch of shameless thieves, with no morality or creativity of their own..

Unfortunately, do not expect anything from IF Mods, coz they've been turning a blind eye to this issur for years now.. no matter how much you plead/beg and cry, no one's willing to take responsibility here..

This is one reason why I do nt encourage silent readers or newbies.. coz u never knw who might backstab you..

Anyhow.. can u link us to the website whr it was posted, so we can all try n force them to take it down.. And do not delete your work frm here until then, coz that's your only evidence..

Good luck and am hoping we find the Thief soon..

I accidentally came across a couple of paragraphs that i had written and they were copied verbatim.

It was on fan fiction site and now that I checked it has been taken down.

I have no idea if parts of my other work have been posted else where.

It is annoying as hell !

Try googl-ing extracts of your works.. Facebook is a top favorite, FF.net and sometimes even wordpress..

I know it's extra mehnat for us which just adds to psychological stress.. but it ought to be done.. that's the price we pay for being a writer..

Im going to discontinue all my works too.. that's it! This time I'm really done with IF..

Could u still ping me the link, so we can try n trace the username.. that would help to track down if more stuff has been copied elsewhere..

Sorry to butt in, but it feels horrible and is the worst sort of demotivation for a writer when we see our babies being stolen, and thieves taking credit for them..

I'd say take a break and move to a blog with restricted access to people you can trust..

Some readers will have to suffer bt atleast you can sleep well knowing that thieves won't steal your works..
