Wajid and Sajid on Roobaroos
Amit and Prashant made a cute but lonely picture as they sat on the Roobaroo sets for the last time—framed by the wall with the posters of all the Top 13 contestants of Indian Idol. Each week the set has witnessed the loss of one member who has been sorely missed. But the fun, chatter and Mini Mathur's lively presence made up for the loss. Both Amit and Prashant brought her a gift from their trip to their hometown.
To lift up their spirits musical duo Wajid and Sajid of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Partner fame came on the set. They had some helpful advice and tips for Amit and Prashant. They even tested the singing prowess of the two and gave them full marks at the end of it. After the impromptu singing session, the music directors even asked for the contact numbers of the two!
With this episode of Roobaroo, this intimate chat session comes to an end. No more getting up close and personal with the contestants. It was an emotional moment. Indian Idol now moves to its final phase with live performances—the Caf Round in Mumbai on September 11 at Nirmal Lifestyle, Mulund, and then to Kolkata, before the finals in Delhi.
