Akshay refused to do Welcome Back and Hera Pheri sequel... As now a day his movies aren't earning much on Boxoffice, I think Welcome Back and Hera Pheri sequel could have done really well on boxoffice with original cast.

Do you think Akshay would have made a solid comeback with these sequels?

Don't know about Hera-Pheri 3 but he could have done W2.
Kat and Akki looks so good together.Loved them in SIK.
Jee karda was my fav.Kat looked so good then.

No, I'm glad that he is experimenting and doing films like Baby. Fed up of Masala films and RomComs.

But yes, I do think Welcome and Hera Pheri would be good comebacks purely in terms of Box Office.

i too am enjoying watching him in films like special 26 and baby.although hera pheri 3 will not be as enjoyable without him.

yeah he should have done them. also i hope the news about namastey london sequel is true. the nostalgia factor is strong with those movies. i havent seen any of akshays 5-6 last releases cus none of them looked appealing to me. hes not working with any of the big actresses either. i like him more in rom-coms, and comedies.

No I don't think so. His movies still make a profit so it's not like he's facing some kind of financial difficulty. He's comfortable enough where he wants to do things he not only enjoys but also are good.

Besides, he's doing Singh Is Bling so he's not completely turning his back on formulaic films.

Its wise decision to stay away from those stereotypical movies
Akki does a lot of movies (3-4) in an year and its not actually bad that all his movies are doing average 80-85cr business
His working style is different and lets get accustomed to that

Who said he rejected herapheri 3 ? Looks like u don't follow his interviews

He was never offered herapheri 3 ... They didn't write any role for him , it has two rajus played by john and AB ... Baburao and shaam are still the part of the script hence they were offered the movie
