With this budget it would need to gross 100crs to be declared a hit.

Yes it got the biggest opening but its far away from that mark. Why is Varun being called a superstar? Not a single big hit he has ever given.

Most is recovered from all rights. Was needed to recover 29cr to hit the success line. It will need 75cr to be a clean hit and 100cr to be SUPER HIT. My source is Komal Nahta and various other trades

Don't think it's more than 60 crore. (including promotion cost). Disney UTV is the producer and distributor of the movie. So, whatever they'd earn from different sources it would be counted.

If it's already earned 25-30 crore from satellite-music rights and endorsements, it would only need to recover 30-35 crore from theaters.

So, 60-70 crore from theaters worldwide means the producer/distributor has recovered money.

80 crore (worldwide) would give it a hit tag.
