I could not agree more about Sony's editing practices. I think they are to blame more than anyone else for TRP driven editing.

Do you mean to say that only heavy voice but besura will succeed. I like Amit's voice but i am sure he cannot sing all types of songs like Is pyar ko main kya naam doo and also Kal Ho na ho..even though he has a good voice. But Emon is versatile for sure and any slow or heavy or low pitch or highpitch he can sing well and he already proved it and it sounded pretty good at least better than rest of the contestants. Ofcourse with his age his voice too will mature and it will sound very good then . Already Anu Malik a music director said i got my playback singer so what JA has to say on this. I completely agree that Amit is not as versatile as he is made out to be. He just did a fantastic job with the songs he got so far.

Btw, dont hold your breath about Anu Malik giving Emon a chance. He yaps that every year to atleast 4 singers and nothing ever materializes. Emon has to and he definitely will make it on his own steam with or without Anu Malik. And I dont care if JA writes for him or not. There is no shoratge of good lyricists in the film industry. Emon Rocks!!
