I used to follow the serial very promptly but I missed a couple of episodes recently. I think the last I saw was the basti people were with that marriage party and they become sheltorless after the wedding. I really dont remember any story after that. Can anyone give me a brief update on what is happenning right now..so taht I can follow the story!! Thanks.

Ok well what has happened up to now is....

Over with the basti-wale...

Uma had won the basti back for all the basti-wale to go and live again, where they currently are. But within a month they must arrange 12 Lakh so that they could have the basti back for sure.

BK, the punjaban that likes Munna, wanted to help Uma out so she was going to mortgage the marriage hall chori chori. Uma then told her off for this and refused the money.

That's when Anubhav Mehra (Jas Arora) comes in....he owns a company and has two kids - Ricky and Pari. BK knows Anubhav and tells him what the basti-wale are going through. BK then introduces Uma to Anubhav and Anubhav offers her a job as a governess for his kids and also the 12 Lakh. At first the kids are rude and Uma doesn't feel like working there, but eventually she decides that she will and now she is currently doing this.

Meanwhile, with the Jajodia's....

Namita a few weeks back gave birth to a son- Karan. She misses Sambhav's company but often goes to visit him in jail with Karan.

Sudhanshu wants to know who gave Uma the money and is still trying to break the basti. Sunil Pradhan tells him to give up but he takes no as his answer.

This is where we are upto here in the UK. In India they are a little ahead.
