CHAPTER THREE

"Ranbir"

Anant exclaimed at Ranbir who was sitting in the side chair of Anant's cabin. He knew why Ranbir was here at this time, but he pretended, as if he did not know what has forced Ranbir to come there.

"Yeah, I am here to meet you."

Ranbir had turned towards the door with a smile to welcome his best friend when he heard his buddy.

They both shared a friendly hug and after that Anant sat in his chair.

The cabin had a huge glass window behind Anant's chair, and the bright white light from outside was giving a divine look to the cabin. Any disturbed mind could easily clam down here in this peaceful atmosphere. Not only was the cabin but the whole Bajpai office was a wonderful creation. It had its own serenity. One of the most beautiful buildings in Mumbai.

"Shall I order a coffee for you?" Anant tried to behave normally.

"Don't be so formal with me,"

"I am not being formal. Why should I?"

Anant changed his position from his chair to the couch, which was at the side of that cubicle.

Ranbir exactly knew what Anant was trying to do. Therefore, he too followed him and did the same what Anant did a minute ago.

"I am going to meet Navya and let me tell you one thing, that you are accompanying me, I don't want to hear anything from you." Ranbir told with an angry yet clam voice looking straight into Anant eyes, which had a fear, a fear of losing in front of his friend.

"Never, I will not come with you to bring her back".

"When did I say that, we are going to bring her back?" Ranbir smirked.

That was a slap to Anant. He never thought he would speak that aloud. He looked up at Ranbir's face that had a winning smile.

From inside Anant too wanted to bring her back but his bl**dy big EGO never helped him to give a second thought to it.

"No, you did not. But, I mean... I mean." Anant's voice did not support him to lie.

"You mean?" Ranbir looked directly into Anant's eyes.

While he down casted his eyes because he knows he can never lie to his friend..

"I do not want to talk about her".

"That will not help you this time" Ranbir was at peak of his anger.

He made Anant stand up from the couch, made him to look at his eyes, and asked.

"Why did you do that with Navya?"

"What did she do to you that you played such a dirty game with her?"

"How could you just use and throw a girl away, a girl who loved you?"

Anant did not reply to Ranbir's any questions.

Ranbir took a deep sigh and continued.

"Sometimes I used to feel jealous of both of you. The way you both were in love made me admire you and your love."

"Ranbir I don't want to talk about it."

Anant interrupted Ranbir, he had started to feel guilty again, so he just moved forward by removing Ranbir's hands which were on his shoulders.

"You can't go like this, I need an answer". Ranbir shouted.

"Fine! What do you want to know?" Anant turned back towards Ranbir and shouted as Ranbir did.

"I want to know the reason behind whatever you did. And you have to come with me to ask for forgiveness". Ranbir shouted with the same intensity.

The two best friends were fighting with each other for a girl who just lost everything because of love, the most beautiful yet desirous feeling.

Anant laughed sarcastically and replied,

"Forgiveness and me, never. I will not do any such things because I was never at fault and the reason why I did that,

Anant stopped abruptly and masked a serious face and continued,

"It was a play, a well planned revenge play which Anant played successfully, a long revenge of six months." Anant's serious look replaced with a smile, a hundred watt smile

However, Ranbir frowned, he was shocked beyond limit.

"Revenge? For what?" he asked when he recollected from his shock which was given by his one and only friend.

"Hmm that I cannot disclose that to you, because it was a private thing of a couple" Anant said that with a naughty smile and winked at Ranbir, who was standing as the earth slipped from beneath his foot.

"Ranbir" Anant touched Ranbir's hand when he felt Ranbir was shocked to even react.

He immediately held Anant's shoulders, shook him vigorously, and tried to put some sense to his senseless brain.

"What have you done? You used her, and took revenge from her that too in this way. This is disgusting Anant. How could you stoop so low?"

"Ranbir now you don't start, I am already fed up with it all." Anant replied with anger.

Suddenly something strikes Ranbir.

"But you did love her, right? You both were in love?"

"Hmm... correction! She was in love, not me." Anant corrected Ranbir.

"What do u mean?"

"Ranbir please don't act like a kid. She loved me but I never did. You forgot I am a great actor; it is you only, who taught me to act, Remember?" Anant again winked at Ranbir. At that moment, he was happy at his win.

Ranbir was in utter shock. He never expected Anant would come out like this.

"You were acting in front of us?" Ranbir asked in the flow. He had been in shock since when Anant told everything.

"Yeah! Now you get it." Anant said with a wide smile.

Ranbir's face and eyes became red due to anger ... he felt disgusted at himself to have a friend like Anant.

Then he barked at Anant at the top of his voice while pointing his finger at Anant.

"You will pay a great value for it. You will feel guilty soon and at that time do not ever come to me... I will not help you. I will not able to even if I want."

"Hahahaha! That will not happen." Anant laughed with confidence.

Nevertheless, inside him something was burning. Moreover, each of Ranbir's words did pour fuel to it. It was burning like hell, but this Anant was blind with his anger and his revenge. He took revenge from that girl who has loved him deeply with her every single breath.

"You will repent it soon Anant, I am damn sure about it, and Let me inform you one more thing until the day you realize your mistake I will not think about to bring Ritz in my life, and it is a decision taken by both of us. We will only get married after you realize your mistake and ask for Navya's forgiveness." Ranbir informed him, his decision, which he had taken with Ritz last night.

"What the hell Ranbir? You cannot do this" Anant reacted immediately.

"Why? If you can use a girl then why can't me?" Ranbir was hell angry but asked that with an unbelievable calmness.

"Because you both are in love and I will not allow you to do this." Anant reverted.

"Even Navya loved you."

"But she was an orphan." Anant tried to reason him.

"Wow Mr. Bajpai. You used her just because she does not have anyone with her! Ridiculous!

Now you will see me standing with Navya whenever you see her again. You will have to pass through me to get her. Get that straight in your useless brain."

After that, he went out of the room without giving a chance to Anant to react.

Anant didn't know what to do, he just fell back in his couch and hide his face in his palms not because of the guilt that he had hurt Navya because of the guilt to spoil his own blood, his own sister's life.

"Dad I am going to Delhi at evening to meet Mr. Sharma"

Om looked up from his newspaper when he heard Anant.

"Ohh yaa I remember. BTW Take Navya with you"

"What?"

"I said take Navya with you"

"For what?"

"What a question is that Anant? She is your wife so she has the right. It has been two months since you both are married and still you did not take her with you anywhere."

"But dad I am going for business"

"I know, but what will I do if my son has only time for business and its ok I will inform Sharma and that's it you have to take her with you. Just like a small honey moon."

Dad said with a smile at his plan to make Anant take her with him. However, Anant did not know even this meeting with Sharma was a plan of his dad.

Anant never thought his dad would ask him to take her . That too for two weeks. He even cannot stand her mere presence in his life and now his dad is asking to take her with him for a honeymoon.

However, someone was happy just because of getting an opportunity to go out of Mumbai that too with her love.

Navya's head shoot up when she heard about honeymoon. She was in the kitchen but was secretly listening to dad and Anant's talk. She blushed at the thought of going with Anant for honeymoon.

Nevertheless, Anant's uninterested voice squeezed her heart. They both were married since two months but until today, he had never even looked at her with a smile, he always made a good impression in front of his family but in reality, he never cared about her mere presence. He had showed two faces one for Navya and other for family.

"To where?"

"Huh" Navya came out of her reveries.

"I asked where are you going madam," The man with a wide spectacle asked with a disgusting look.

"To Delhi" Navya replied to the man who was sitting in the ticket counter of Mumbai railway station.

"Hmm ok." He then adjusted his spectacle on his nose.

After sometime, he handed over her ticket and looked at her from head to toe. She felt naked at his stair.

"Hey, sir we all are here, let that girl go" Someone shouted from the line that was presented in front of the ticket counter.

Navya moved from there and sat in the train with lots of dreams and hopes. However, she knew one thing that she was going to learn how to live without Anant.

"Hi" Navya looked up and saw a kid with a dark green eyes looking at her innocently.

"Hello I am Pia" she forwarded her hand towards Navya anticipating a shake hand.

"I am Navya" her voice was inaudible.

Navya shook her hand with the kid who was already on Navya's lap.

That was a new beginning. A new relation may be as friends or may be more than that.

OMG why Anant did like that with Navya only because she is orphan? If he didnt love her why he pretended and married her? Loved Ranbir n Ritz gud decision they have taken. Also loved the updates navya's new journey. Waiting for more updates
