June 15, 2015
Ranveer Singh is flying high over the success of his film Dil Dhadakne Do. However this enthusiastic youngster of B-town is also all praises for his rivals' films, apparently.
In an interview with Rediff, Ranveer said about Bombay Velvet, "I liked Bombay Velvet. I thought there were some fine performances and stunning film craft. I appreciate everybody's work in it."
Bombay Velvet by Anurag Kashyap starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar. Touted to be Anurag's most ambitious film, BV proved to be quite a debacle at the BO. Apparently, the movie does have some fans, as you can see.
On another note, Ranveer was all praises for his female contemporaries, especially Deepika Padukone. He said, "Deepika's face. I think she has got amazing features -- big expressive eyes and the looks of a marquee cinema star. She has a gorgeous face." He added about Alia, "I really like Alia Bhatt. She is wonderfully effortless on the screen and she is getting better with every movie. She was awesome in Highway and very cool in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya."
