Hamari Adhuri Kahani had a low start of around 15-20% on average. The film did open a bit better in mass centers like Rajasthan and CI where some stations were 30% but the big cities were low. The slightly better start in mass centers is possibly due to the music.
The opening in mass centers may just help to keep it ahead of Hollywood film Jurassic World though it will be a close call between the two for the collections on Friday. Jurassic World had opened at most places on Thursday so will be its second day.
Hamari Adhuri Kahani is likley to have a tough time at the box office because the first day figures are going to leave it with a lot of ground to make up over the weekend.
