His brother asks him if he still drinks? Then there was his monologue with the bottle of alcohol and also a few incidents were he conspicuously avoids it.

He must have been alcoholic after his beloved wife left him. He must be under depression and all.. :/

It seems under the influence of alcohol he might have done something that he repents. Lot of mysteries surrounding this man... Well, this just makes the character more interesting !!!

He most definitely was an alcoholic and I'm guessing his ex wife leaving him drove him to becoming an alcoholic, This must have led to some huge incident which caused Anurag to become handicapped and I also get the feeling his ex wife is mostly probably dead.

I dont think so. I feel he was a casual drinker who liked to booze like any guy in early twenties but probably something drastic happened that changed it. May be some accident...or may be something that led to the rumors of his and Tarini's affair...anything. But surely he doesnt drink for a big reason. And the last thing I would like to see is Ananya's dad anywhere close to it.

to be very frank...i truely feel that this kabir sharma is an new and improved version! he has a dark past ...and its very early to say he is/was innocent! don't want to hurt any one's emotion! but he's character who has lots of shades...

Well I dont want a goody goody Kabir Sharma either. But then I also dont want him to be reason behind a child's misery.. I would rather be happy if this alcoholism has something to do with his alleged affair with Tarini. Moreover, if Tarini is Anurag's mother, she would never have been friends with Kabir if he was the man who spoilt Anurag's life. No matter whatever Kabir might have done for them..

yes most probably he was an alcoholic and he has left drinking. Today i felt that Kabir was despair, he really has pushed himself into loneliness, and the most disheartening fact is people do discuss about him and tarini in a wrong way and blame it upon his divorce which has made him become what he is today.

He calls his brother as Dada, and Rajeev looks so cute here, first time he is playing a younger bro, and i always loved him as sujal the brother to Rishi, i hope CVs explore- Rajveer-Kabir bond , these two seem to be very close siblings and yet they have a distance in between them now
