I think I solved the Subbu mystery!!!

Based on what we saw in today's episode and the clues given in the previous episodes this seems like the right theory...

• Subbu's wife Laxmi did commit suicide with her son
• Laxmi believed that Subbu was having an extra-marital affair (just as the ACP told Ishita).
• Laxmi even confronted Subbu about it.
• Subbu tried convincing Laxmi, but in vain (we saw some glimpses of this in yesterday's episode).
• The truth is that Subbu was not really having an extra-marital affair. It was all a rumor (Subbu mentioned today that he wanted the Bhallas to understand what happens when we spread wrong rumors).
• Subbu was deeply hurt by his wife and son's suicide and ended up with depression and anger issues.
• Subbu moved to Delhi with Sujatha to forget his bitter past
• They decided to take revenge on the folks who spread these rumors
• They discover that these rumors were indeed spread by the Bhallas (they are ofcourse mistaken, but we will see more of this in the future)
• Subbu talks to Shaila bua over the phone to get some issues clarified and gets violent (remember the episode where he turns like a hulk?)
• Subbu and Sujatha are convinced that the Bhallas are responsible for the rumor and decide to take revenge on them.

• Initially when Subbu met Simmi, Param and Ananya, he did mention to Sujatha that "Simmi/Ananya doesn't deserve to live with a man like Param".
• Sujatha also once told Subbu that Ananya is a sweet girl. You should spend time with her.
• Could it be the case that Subbu initially didn't "know" that the Bhallas were responsible for his family's tragedy? He probably got to know about it around the Hulk episode timeframe.

Any thoughts or comments?

Plausible and SimBu marriage might happen in the end.

Good theory but still I don't want Subbu and Simmi marriage if it is a lot of misunderstanding. I want her to stand on her own feet first.

even I don't want their marriage. .. she should become independent. ...

Shaila bua must have told Laxmi how Subbu ditched Ishita. And when laxmi cud not have a second child, Subbu must have started behaving strangely with her and she assumed that Subbu was having an affair, hence he was not interested in them

I would like Simmi to become independent. I want her to solve her own problems instead of relying on Ishita, Raman or the senior Bhallas. Simmi did do her own jassosi work during the Mihika episode. She is a bubbly person. The actor herself has a lot of potential.

It would be interesting if Subbu's past with Ishita was indeed the cause of Laxmi's suicide. If Shaila bua did tell Laxmi about Subbu's past, I would be upset with Shaila bua and not the whole Bhalla parivar.

That said, I don't want Subbu to be portrayed as a monster. Ishita did love him for 12 years and she could not have fallen for such a lowly guy. I really hope his love for Ananya initially was indeed true. Once the truth is revealed hopefully he would find some peace of mind and not blame himself or the Bhallas for his family's tragedy.

It will certainly be weird if Simmi and Subbu do get-together after all this... I don't want that to happen!

@Bold: It can happen actually, specially when we talk about teeny love. Ishita started dating Subbu when she was 14 or 15 and that's NOT the time to be engaged in a relationship realistically. As it is shown Ishita eventually got to know Subbu's compulsive lying thing but she went with the flow. But end result was zero, Subbu backed out in the first true test and discarded Ishita from his life like garbage.

No dear.. If it is Shaila bua, then there is no meaning in taking revenge on bhallas for that.. I totally think it is Mrs.bhalla who when being in London has instigated laxmi against her husband for for having affair without knowing that it is subbu's wife.. That too out of misunderstanding she might have said that her husband is cheating on her which laxmi believed.. But Mrs.bhalla didn't know that she will commit suicide..

no simmi nd subbu mariage...
