Part 46

ROli was treated by the doctor on emergency basis.

Mataji, Sujatha, Simar & Siddhant were waiting outside the room.

Siddhant was tensed.

He was praying to God to save ROli.

Tears were rolling on his cheeks.

His vision was dull due to tears filled on his eyes.

After sometime... the doctor came out.

All the 4 rushed towards her.

Doctor looked at them with hesitation.

Doctor: Mataji, I am sorry. We were unable to save the baby.

Sid: Doctor, is Roli alright.

Doctor: She is alright. few small injuries for which we packed with bandages. But she is tired due to huge blood loss. I have given pain killer injection and she is sleeping. She will be shifted to room in few minutes...

All the 4 were waiting in the room.

Mataji & Sujatha were very much upset.

Siddhant noticed that..

Sid: Mataji, i do understand your feelings. But now ROli is safe. That is more important. If you all show upset face to ROli, then how can she handle this. Instead i wish you all go home. Simar bhabhi, please take Mataji & Maaji home. I will take care of ROli here.

Simar took them and return home.

Siddhant was waiting alone.

In few minutes...

Roli was shifted to the room..

Glucose was given through drips..

She was sleeping as the doctor said.

Siddhant was looking into her face.

Siddhant locked the room and sat beside her.

Siddhant hold her hands...

He knows the next few minutes will be her silent moment till she get back to conscious and know the truth. Then she will be broken like anything.

Siddhant collect his courage to face the situation.

He too was feeling bad on losing the baby.

But he cant break when he is now in position of handling Roli.

Siddhant caresses her hair.

He kissed her hands and forehead..

He was waiting for the movement on her..

After sometime..

Roli face was expressing her pain though eyes not opened.

Siddhant realised she is getting conscious.

The pain killer effect has gone.

Roli slowly opened her eyes.

She saw Siddhant in front of her eyes.

Siddhant tried to talk to her...

ROli hold his hands like how they hold as a friend..

ROli: SIddhant i wish to talk to my friend now...

ROli eyes were filled with tears...

Sid: Tell me ROli.

Roli: SIddhant, i commited a big mistake Siddhant. I cant face my husband. i did not hear his words. He told me several times to be careful. I never heard. Today he gave ample time to get down the stairs. Still where i did. I was getting down in some thinking.. I got punishment for my mistake. i deserve this as i did the mistake. But what my husband did. How much dreams he might have built about his child? How can i face him & talk to him? I cant handle. I cant handle.

ROli started crying.

Sid: ROli, dont worry. I already handled your husband and consol him. He understood his wife did not do anything purposefully. Also she is the one who got pain in all levels. Everything is known to your husband. SO no need to worry about him. His concern is how his wife handle this. So my concern too is only for my friend ROli. Dont cry. Bring courage to handle this.

ROli: How can i siddhant?

She was crying more...

Siddhant tried to go near her to share a hug.

ROli moved away.

ROli: SIddhant.. please stay as a friend. I cant face you as a husband. i dont have that courage. Please... Please...

Sid: ROli.. Ok. Relax... Yes. I am your friend ok. I will be your friend till you get your courage to face your husband ok.

Roli hold his hands and closed her eyes...

Siddhant was confused on seeing Roli who is seeing two different person on him.

Siddhant was thinking all these days that she is doing it for fun.

But now realised she really seeing friend & husband as two different person on him..

Roli who prefered to share her happiness with her husband instead of friend, now wish to share her grief with her friend instead of husband.

Roli is feeling guilty that she did not hear her husband words, so she do not wish to face her husband...

Siddhant understood this is because of her depressed state of mind.

Siddhant decided to be her friend till she recover from her depression & guilty feelings...

Part 47

Roli discharged from the hospital.

Siddhant started working from home itself handover the work to his managers.

Roli did not talk to anyone and was sitting in the bed with upset face.

Siddhant finished clearing his mails and went near Roli.

He sat beside her.

Siddhant wish to hug her and consol her caressing her back.

But she is running away to face her husband.

What a delicate situation?

Siddhant did consulted doctor before getting discharged and told him about her problem.

Doctor told that it is due to the depression she got and guilty conscious only. It was same which he too guessed already.

Doctor console him telling she will be ok once she come out of the grief.

But in real Roli is not even trying to come out of the grief.

Siddhant thought of trying once.

Siddhant took his hands around her shoulders and touch her.

ROli immediately removed his hands from her shoulder and hold his hands..

Roli moved little away from him..

SId: ROli, come to me darling.. WHy are you running away from me?

Roli started crying..

Roli hide her face from seeing him..

ROli: Siddhant, i cant face you. I committed mistake. I did not hear your words. Please.. Please come as my friend...

Sid got tears filled on his eyes.

Sid: Ok ROli, now i am your friend ok. Come near me.

Roli only forward her hands to him to make sure that he is only her friends.

Sid: Roli why are you giving pain to yourself like this. your husband did not mistake you. He did not feel that you are the reason for that. Please accept him.

ROli: NO SIddhnat. You dont know. i hurt him a lot.

Siddhant tried so many times to console her...

But every tries were in vain..

Roli regained her health in few days.

But her depressed mind was unable to get out of the guilty feeling...

Part 48

Siddhant was in deep thinking on how to get back his ROli.

He was unable to go near to her as husband to consol her.

If she accept his soothing hands on her, then she may come out of the grief. But she is maintaining distance between them.

Siddhant then decided the only way is she need to come out of this room.

Siddhant went to meet Jamanlal & took his consent too.

Then he came back to Roli.

Sid: Roli, from tomorrow you are coming to office with me.

Roli: Siddhant what can i do in the office.

SId: Whatever i am doing.

Roli: I dont know anything.

SId: Roli, remember we belong to same group and both are top scorers. You are having same qualification like me. So you are coming to office and working from tomorrow.

Roli: Siddhant, i dont know to what extent i can handle.

Sid: Dont worry. I will supervise your work. I only need you to help me ok.

Roli was still hesitating.

But after sometime, Siddhant successfully convinced her to come to office.

Sid: ROli lets go out.

Roli; Go out for what Siddhant.

Sid: ROli, lets purchase some new hand bags, slippers etc for you.

ROli: I am not in mood Siddhant.

Sid: ROli, wont you hear your friends words. I wish you come with me & do purchase. I know how much you love doing purchases.

Roli finally started with him for shopping...

Roli & Siddhant went out for shopping after long time.

All other family members got relaxed on seeing her coming out of her room.

Siddhant tried his best to bring her to normal while doing shopping.

They purchased a hand bag, slippers then few dresses too.

Roli while selecting all these came back to little normal...

Sid: Roli didn't you purchase anything for your husband...

Roli face went small.

Roli: Siddhant...How can i purchase for him? I missed to give the gift of his life.

ROli eyes filled with tears.

SId: Ok. Dont purchase for your husband. But can you for your friend.

ROli: What you wish to have?

Sid: My smiling Roli. Can i get?

Roli was looking at him..

Sid: Ok. Puchase shirt for me. I will wear that shirt tomorrow.

Roli selected a shirt for him.

They completed purcahses and returned home.

They had dinner and went to their room.

ROli was sitting in the bed.

Sid: ROli take rest and sleep. you need to come to office tomorrow.

Roli lay down on the bed..

Siddhant was sitting 2 feet far and looking at her.

ROli hold his hands and closed her eyes.

In few minutes she slept..

Siddhant was still looking at her.

Siddhant took his hands near her and caresses her hair.

Siddhant went near her face to kissed her forehead.

He was hesitating, what if she get up and start crying.

Siddhant was thinking, Roli how happy we were. WHy you are giving pain to you like this?

SIddhant moved away again..

Siddhant was eagerly waiting for the next day to start getting ROli coming to office...

Part 49

ROSID were getting ready for the office.

Siddhant was combing his hair standing behind Roli.

ROSID remembered their happy moments.

Siddhant back hug her and kiss on her cheeks or neck.

Roli will be forgeting the world on his hug.

All those happy days were gone leaving a sorrow filled room for ROSID.

Siddhant went near her and forward his hands towards her while ROli moved away from him and left the place.

Finally they got ready and left to office.

ROSID entered the office.

All the staffs greet them 'Good Morning'

ROSID too greet them and entered into the cabin.

Siddhant already told to arrange another table for her inside his cabin.

Siddhant told her to sit.

He gave some water to her.

Siddhant alloted some small works to her.

ROli started concentrating on those works..

Siddhant was feeling relaxed a little.

He continued doing his work.

Slowly ROli started learning the office tasks.

Siddhant too increased her activity day by day.

The days were running...

ROli started getting involved in the business when she is in office.

Siddhant was happy that the sorrow which used to occupy Roli's face inside four walls got changed now.

She diverted her grief to work.

SHe was working very hard.

All family members were happy that she is slowly recovering from the grief...

Though she was getting normal in the office, the distance between ROSID were still maintained.

Siddhant tried so many times to get her back at home..

But he was not successful yet.

Siddhant was under deep thinking...

Part 50

Siddhant was waiting for the right time to talk to ROli.

It was weekend.

They had lunch and were relaxing in their room.

ROli was sitting in the bed and was lost in her own sorrow world.

Siddhant went near her and hold her hands.

Sid; ROli..

Roli: hmm

SId; you know i talk to your husband..

Roli: What he said? Is he still upset?

Sid: Roli, yes he is upset. But he said not because of losing his baby.

ROli: Then why he is upset.

Sid: Roli, he said more than baby he lost his wife on that day.

ROli: Why he said like that when i am here only?

SId: You are here. But you are not even ready to face him.

Roli: But how can i face him. I cant Siddhant.

SId: Roli, running away from the problem is not the solution. How many days passed? How long he will waiting for you? Why dont you search some solution for this?

Roli: What solution i can get Siddhant? I cant reverse anything happend.

Sid: Roli. the life is not going to end because of losing that baby right. He wish to start his life again with you.

ROli: What you wish me to do Siddhant?

Sid: ROli now it is in your hands. He is clear that he wish to forget what is lost and start a new life with you. Now you decide whether you wish to forget the bitter incident and move your future life with your husband.

Roli: But..

SId: ROli, i have told you what he said. Now no urgency. Think well. Take today's time. He will come to you tonight. If you still feel you did some mistake. Just instead of running away ask sorry to him. He will forgive you.

ROli: He forgive me SIddhant. I did a very big mistake.

Sid: ROli is he very bad person.

ROli: No SIddhant. He is very good person.

Sid: Then it is not difficult for a good person to forgive the mistake done unknowingly.

ROli: Are you sure Siddhant?

Sid: Yes I am sure. Just relax yourself now. Dont get tensed. THink & decide...

Roli was in deep thinking the whole day.

ROli was thinking, he is right. My husband is good person and he will forgive me for sure. When he wish to start a new life with me, i too should give hands to him instead of giving pain...

Roli face was little bright & clear on that day.

Siddhant noticed that and was happy.

ROli by evening washed her face and wear the dress selected by her husband and his favorite one.

ROSID had dinner together.

ROSID returned to their room.

Roli was on the bed waiting for him.

Siddhant went to have shower.

He returned wearing a casual T SHirt & shorts selected by ROli for him..

Siddhant lay down beside her..

He went near her..

SIddhant wrapped his hands around her.

ROli body was shivering and heart beat increased.

ROli closed her eyes...

Siddhant hold her shoulders and turned towards him...

Siddhant wrapped his hands around her and hug tightly..

SId: ROli I love you...

ROli: I love you too Siddhant...

SId: ROli open your eyes and look at me.

Roli slowly opened her eyes. But her eyes were filled with tears.

Sid: ROli dont cry darling. you did not commit any mistake.

ROli: Are you not upset or angry with me.

Sid: No. I am not upset with you. I am not angry with you.

ROli: I did not do it purposefully Siddhant.

Sid: I know darling. You did not do it purposefully. It was an accident.

ROli: WIll you accept me Siddhant.

SId: What are you talking ROli? I was ready to accept you. But you were running away from me. You know.

ROli: SOrry dear. I was not having courage to face you.

SId: Roli now leave everything and come to me.

Roli wrapped her hands around him and hug him tightly.

Roli started crying on his shoulders.

Siddhant let her to cry out to come out of her grief completely.

He was caressing her back.

Sid: ROli enough darling. Dont cry like this. It is not good for your health.

Sid gave her some water to drink.

Sid pulled her close to him.

Siddhant kissed on her face.

Then look into her eyes.

Roli too kissed on his face.

ROSID moved towards each other lips...

ROSID hug each other tightly..

Siddhant pulled her more closer and they shared sweet moments together.

In that love the grief went out of Roli and she was relaxed...

After sometime...

Roli was on his shoulders hugging him.

Sid: ROli are you ok now.

ROli: Yes Siddhant. I am ok.

SId: Any more fear to face your husband.

Roli: NO fear to face my Siddhant.

Sid: You will run away from your husband searching your friend.

Roli: No Siddhant. I understood my husband himself is not only my husband, but also my friend.

Sid: Good darling! How much pain you gave to yourself all these days?

Siddhant kissed on his head.

ROli hug him tightly...

ROSID were leading their life happily like before..

Roli got pregnant again after a year.

ROSID took care of that baby with great care.

Roli delivered a beautiful boy baby.

Roli Divedi the only daughter of Jamanlal Divedi & Meena Divedi was talking to her father.

The open hair was showing she did coloring & perming recently..

There was no sticker or sindoor in the middle of her eyebrows..

Her eyebrows were well shaped by threading..

Her eyes were showing her 'Dont care' mentality.

The sharp nose were not having nose ring.

Pink color shining lips showed she has put pink color lipstip with glitter

Her pinky cheeks showed she did mild make up on her cheeks too

Roli's neck was having small platinum chain.

She was wearing sleeveless tops and knee length skirt.

Her Right hand was having platinum bracelet while left hand was having a fancy watch.

Her smooth and shining hands & legs were showing she took additional care in maintaining her beauty. Also confirmed her as regular visitor to beauty parlour.

She was wearing high heels slippers

Roli: Oh Dad! Please tell me what you wish me to do.

Jamanlal: Roli, We shifted to US as soon as I finished my studies and after getting my job here. After marriage i bring your mother too here. You were born here only.

Roli: Ok. SO what are you trying to say by this.

Jamanlal: You are here only since birth. We have not even visited our village. Now it went so many years. I wish we go to India this year.

Roli: Oh Dad! See my friends are all here. I will be getting bored if i come there leaving all of them.

Jamanlal: ROli, it is just matter of few days. Again we will be getting back. So what is there to worry.

Roli: Oh No! I heard about India. It is crowded, polluted, congested place. I dont feel like even going there.

Jamanlal: Roli, You are talking about cities whereas our village will not be like that. You can enjoy different life there. Calm & peaceful.

Roli: Oh really!

Jamanlal: Yes. You come with me. I am sure you like it. Wont you do this also for your father.

Roli: Dad! I can do anything for you.

Jamanlal to himself: Hmmm.. I am in that belief only and taking step..

Roli: Dad! what you said?

Jamanlal: Nothing ROli.. Just pack your clothes we are leaving to India tonight.

Roli: Ok. As you wish.

Roli went to her room to pack her clothes..

Meena went to Jamanlal.

Meena: Whether she will accept after going there? I fear for that.

Jamanlal: Meena, Lets go there. Without trying we cant decide anything now.

Meena: I feel like you are taking risks.

Jamanlal: May be. But we got no other option other than that now.

Meena: What if she dont cooperate for our plan?

Jamanlal: We need to make her accept. I cant see her growing in this culture any more and getting married to some American.

Meena was worried.

Jamanalal, Meena & ROli packed thier clothes and started their journey from US to India.

Roli was not knowing the trip is going to turn her life completely...

Part 2

Roli with Jamanlal & Meena reach Delhi Airport.

They came out of the airport..

ROli was showing unhappy expression on seeing the crowded city outside.

Roli: Oh Dad! See how much crowded the place is!

Jamanlal: Roli, as i said this is city. It will be like that only. You will like our village for sure..

Roli: Lets see Dad.

They get into the taxi.

Jamanlal informed the taxi driver their village details..

Taxi started its journey from Delhi city towards thier village...

Roli was surprised to see driving on right side as she used to see only the driving side on left...

Roli: Dad, see the driving seat on right instead of left..

Jamanlal: Roli, here in India driving seat will be on right only. Here it is opposite to US. We need to keep left while driving.

ROli: Oh!

She asked with surprise...

ROli was looking outside all the way..

She was not feeling good on the crowded city, traffic jam roads,

Roli: Dad wont these people follow any rules or what? Why there is so much traffic jam in the road..

Jamanlal: Roli, here it is like that only. Not regularised like US.

ROli: Does this mean they dont have any rules & regulations..

Jamanlal: Not exactly. They do have rules. But few follow perfectly while few doesn't.

Roli: By not following the rules they are only suffering creating traffic jam right.

Jamanlal: You are right. But they did not realise it and that is causing these traffic jams.

Roli was looking all those with irritation.

After couple of hours driving only they came out of the city limits.

Jamanlal: Roli, now we crossed the city limits. You cant find that much traffic from now..

But unexpectedly the roads were not good.

It was creating heavy jolt in the car..

Roli: Oh God! What is this? I cant understand how these people travels in these places with such damaged roads.

Jamanlal: Roli, May be roads damaged due to rain or something like that..

Taxi driver: Sir the road damaged so many months back. Who is finding time to do all these works? Maximum state highway road will be like this only.

Jamanlal; Driver, already she is irritated. Why you are adding oil to already burning one? Please be silent.

Taxi driver stopped talking further..

Roli was terribly irritated by all these...

Jamanlal was wondering the starting itself is like this and how he is going to handle further...

Part 3

Roli was completely irritated on travel long in the bad road.

But as they travel led through the village road the green scenery attracted her.

Roli: wow! So cool! Beautiful!

Roli took her handycam & started taking video.

Jamanlal was little relaxed seeing his daughter happy.

Roli was very much excited.

Roli: oh Dad! The place is so beautiful. I like it.

Jamanlal: that is what I said. You will like it. See in few minutes we will reach our village.

Suddenly tyre got puncture.

Roli: oh no! What happened now?

Driver: tyre got puncture. Just give me some time I will just replace with another

All got down.

Roli: oh dad! How long we need to go now?

Jamanlal: roli it is only few minutes drive straight in this road then left turn & few minutes drive then again left.

Roli: you mean it is parallel to this place right.

Jamanlal: exactly. Can you see that side of field. That is the village. You know when I was young I used to walk from our village to this place through field straight.

Roli: really!!!

Jamanlal: yes. Those times we walk to maximum distances

Roli: interesting! Then dad I too wish to walk & reach the village. Let me try.

Jamanlal: roli it will be difficult for you. You are not used to it.

Roli: dad when you did walk in your young age then why not myself do it. I am going. Let's meet in the village.

Roli rushed towards the field..

Jamanlal was tensed.

Meena: are you tended as this is new place to her?

Jamanlal: not only that. I thought we will get down at our doorstep in the car & I allowed her to wear her T-shirt & knee length skirt. But now she is going to walk through field.

Meena: oh you are right. What happens if someone look at her.

Jamanlal: that is what worrying me. She is not used to behave with Indians too..

Jamanlal & meena were standing worried while...

Roli was walking happily through the field...

Part 4

Roli was walking happily for sometime.

But as she walked almost midway she looked around & found nothing is visible other than field all the way.

As she is not used to she was getting pain on her legs too.

As she crossed midway can't go back too.

Even if she go back her parents might have left the place already.

Roli: oh no! I think I am struck in the midway. Not even sure whether I am on right direction...

Roli was walking with much queries...

At that moment he saw some one few feet away...

Roli: hi dude!!!

He did not turn.

Roli took fast steps..

Roli: hi dude!!! Calling you only wait...

He did not turn.

Roli increased her speed & almost ran towards him.

When roli almost reached him her high heel slipper got slipped.

Roli fell down slidding on the mud..

Roli: ooch! Ooch!

He now turned & looked at Roli.

Roli: Dude!! Don't you hear I am calling you. Why can't you stop? See I came running to reach you & fell down.

He looked at her from head to toe.

Roli: dude! What are you looking like that? Why can't you help me to get up?

He forward his hands.

Roli hold his hands & got up.

Her dress were full of mud.

Roli: dude, can I get some water to wash this mud?

He walk towards a side while roli followed him.

There was a water tank like storage.

Roli took the water & wash her completely.

Roli was completely wet.

Roli who was already wearing small dress was now more sexy to see in the wet clothes..

Roli came towards him.

Roli: dude, can't you speak or what? Why are you silent?

He did not reply.

Roli: I think my guess is right. You can't speak. Anyway I wish to go that village. Can you help me.

He started walking towards the village

After taking few steps he turned towards her & looked at wet Roli.

He removed his paijama kurtha tops & gave to Roli.

He for the first time opened his mouth.

He said: how will you go with wet clothes? Wear this.

Roli: dude you can speak. Then why you did not talk till now.

He did not reply.

Roli put that tops on her.

Roli: no reply again. I can't understand you as well as your logic in making me wear your tops. What if I come in wet clothes? Why you walk with baniyan giving me this? Anyway Thanks.

He did not reply.

Roli: again silence. I can't understand how you can remain so silent which is not possible for me.

She said raising her eyebrows.

They reached the village.

Roli saw the taxi standing in front of a house in which they came.

Roli understood that should be their house.

Roli: oh dude! Thank you again. That is our house. I will go. Any way take your tops.

Roli removed his tops & gave him

Roli: bye. See you later.

Roli went near his face & kissed on his cheeks.

Roli rushed towards her house...

Part 5

Roli entered into her village house.

Jamanlal & Meena got relieved on seeing ROli safely reached house.

Jamanlal: Roli, you have come. You know we were worried.

Roli: Cool dad! Why worrying unnecessarily? I am fine.

Jamanlal: Maaji, look at your grand daughter.

Gauri, Mataji of Roli lift her face to look at ROli and was shocked.

Gauri: Jamanlal, what is this?

Jamanlal: What happend Maaji?

Gauri: Is this the way you bring your daughter to the village? Look at her hair & dress.

Jamanlal: Maaji, you know she was in US since brith. So...

Gauri: So what? Is your wife not wearing saree? You only need to teach her to our culture and traditions.

Meena: Maaji, we used to insist her. But...

Gauri: No Meena. I cant hear any excuses.

Roli: Oh Grandma! What are you talking about? I cant understand.

Gauri: Roli, Cant you wear a nice saree when coming here atleast.

Roli: Saree! Myself. Oh! No way. Are you kidding grandma!

Gauri looked at Jamanlal.

Jamanlal: ROli, ok. Just relax. Take bath now and we will have food.

Gauri called her relative girl named Swathi to help Roli being it is new place.

Swathi was Roli's cousin sister. She was born & brought up in village only.

She was same age of ROli. She was wearing saree & her hair was long with plait.

Swathi looked at ROli with surprise on seeing her dress & open hair.

Swathi took her to a room.

Swathi; ROli you can keep your bag here. Take your dress. I will take you to bathroom.

Roli kept her bag and looked around that room.

Then she took her changing dress and went with Swathi to take bath.

Swathi showed her bathroom and told her to take bath.

Roli looked around the bathroom.

Roli: Swathi there is no shower here.

Swathi: Shower?

Roli: yes shower. Not even bathtub.

Swathi: bathtub?

Roli: Your question shows you got no idea what shower or bathtub is! Oh God! where i am struck.

Roli closed the door and started taking bath...

Roli came out in a sleeveless baniyan and a shorts taking bath.

Swathi who was waiting for her outside was shocked.

Swathi: Roli...

Roli: What happend babe?

Swathi: Your dress...

Roli: Yes. This is my casual wear at home.

Roli entered into house giving shock to Gauri.

Gauri: Roli, what is this?

Roli: Oh Grandma! What now?

Gauri: Roli, you cant wear dress like this here.

Roli: Oh God! Then what can i wear at home.

Gauri looked at Meena.

Meena down her face as she was unable to reply or face her Mother in law..

Gauri: Swathi, bring some saree of yours for Roli.

Swathi: Ok Mataji..

Swathi went from there.

Gauri: Ok Lets have food now.

Gauri prepared special dishes for them as they are coming after so many years...

Roli liked the different dishes which she never tasted in her life.

They had food together.

In the meantime, Swathi bring the saree for ROli.

Swathi gave that saree to Roli to wear.

Roli: Oh Grandma! Do you think i am old enough to wear saree.

Gauri: Roli, Swathi is also of your age only. Dont she wear it. Go & wear it before someone come and see you in this horrible dress.

Roli: Oh! So rude. My dress is horrible.

Jamanlal: Roli, you should not reply to elders like this. Go with Swathi & wear this saree.

Swathi took Roli inside and helped her in wearing saree.

ROli was not at all feeling convenient..

Her face showed the irritation.

Roli was standing uncomfortable.

Roli sat beside Gauri.

Gauri looked at her open hair and wondered how dry it is.

Gauri: meena wont you apply oil and comb it properly.

Roli: Oh Grandma! i did perming in my hair. Dont touch it ok.

Gauri: What perming? Swathi bring that oil.

Swathi bring the coconut oil and gave it to Gauri.

Gauri applied oil and massage it well on ROli's hair.

Roli: Grandma! What are you doing? I paid to get this hair style.

Gauri: What? You paid for spoiling the hair.

Roli: What spoiling the hair? Look how beautiful it is.

Gauri: Where it is beautiful? it is looking like broomstick.

Roli: What you said? Broomstick. How dare you?

Jamanlal: ROli, i said you should not talk to elders like this.

Gauri: Its ok. My grand daughter only talking like that. It is ok.

Gauri applied oil well and started combing her hair nicely.

Roli expressed her unhappiness on her face.

Gauri did combing nicely and then only she was able to see her beautiful long hair.

Gauri: Roli, you got quiet long black hair. Why you do all these unwantedly to your hair?

Now Gauri turned Roli towards her and looked at her.

Gauri: Oh how beautiful my grand daughter is? Jamanlal & meena look at ROli now.

Gauri: Swathi bring that sindoor.

Swathi gave the sindoor to Gauri.

Gauri kept a small round sindoor on mid of her eyebrows.

Roli herself was seeing in the mirror different Roli with oil applied hair, with a sindoor & a saree.

Roli: Its cool! But grandma. Am i not looking old enough like my mother or you in all these...

Gauri: Not at all. Look at swathi. Is she looking like your mother or me by wearing all these. She too is young like you.

Roli: Ok Ok. Anyway you are not going to agree what i say.

Gauri: Not like that Roli. This is our tradition. This is our culture.

Roli: I am feeling tired grandma!

Gauri: Lay down and sleep for a while.

Gauri made her to sleep on her lap..

Roli got up by evening.

Gauri gave tea to drink.

Jamanlal: Roli, you do onething you go to temple with Swathi & come.

Roli: Temple! What can i do going there?

Jamanlal: ROli, what someone do in the temple? Pray to god & come back.

Roli: Ok Ok. Swathi lets go.

Roli & Swathi went to temple...

Jamanlal talked to his mother now.

Gauri: jamanlal, you have brought up completely like US citizen & not like Indian girl.

Jamanlal: maaji, i did not do such purposefully. But see her friends everyone is almost US citizen and we got no Indian friends too in our city. The only Indian people she know is myself & meena only. That is why.

Gauri: Still is it not your responsibility to teach her.

Jamanlal: I tried maaji. But we were unable to in that situation. That is why i decided to do this.

Gauri: I do understand.

Jamanlal: When they are coming here to see her!

Gauri: I told them to come tomorrow as i thought you all coming today only & need to take rest.

Jamanlal: Maaji we need to handle Roli diplomatically in this. DOnt tell anything now itself. That is why i sent her to temple so that we can talk about this.

Gauri: What do you mean? What can we hide from her in this?

Jamanlal: I mean, we wont tell her that they have come for talking about her alliance. We will tell her they have come to see us as we were out of station. First let us get their consent. Then we will talk to ROli slowly.

Gauri: Jamanlal, you mean she wont agree.

Jamanlal: of course maaji. First she was not ready to come to india for holidays. Then this arrangement is something far from her idea. So we need to approch slowly. I fear what if she deny to come in front of them if we tell the truth to her.

Gauri: Hmmm.. I pray that everything goes well...

Roli & Swathi reached the temple.

Swathi prayed to God joining her hands..

ROli was not used to go to temple as they got no temple near their residing city in US.

ROli looked at Swathi in wonder.

Swathi: Roli, Join your hands like this and pray to God whatever you wish to have.

Roli: Come on Swathi. You mean we will get whatever we wish by joining hands like this.

Swathi: It is just a belief Roli.

Roli: But i dont have such belief Swathi.

Swathi: Ok Roli. As you wish..

Roli: Hmm Thanks for understanding Swathi.

Swathi: Roli, i will come around the temple. WIll you?

Roli: Swathi, i am not coming. Already i am finding difficult in walking wearing this strange dress...

Swathi smiled and started going around the temple.

Roli just moved from there and was looking around here & there.

Roli eyes widenened...

Roli: Hi dude! wait..

He stopped from further moving hearing her voice.

Roli: GOod that you stopped atleast now. Otherwise i cant run with this strange dress you know.

He looked at Roli from head to toe now in Indian traditional dress.

Roli: What are you looking like this? I know you wonder seeing me in this strange Indian dress right.

He did not reply.

Roli: You know my grand ma compelled me to wear this and you know she applied so much oil in my hair and see wasted all my perming hair..

He was looking at her without replying anything...

ROli: Am i looking good in all these? My grandma is telling i am good in this. But you know i never used to all these I feel strange.

She express her unhappiness on her face.

At that moment...

Swathi called ROli..

Swathi: ROli... ROli.. Where are you?

Roli: Coming swathi...

She replied Swathi and turned towards him.

Roli: Dude! Just thought of talking to you as you are the first known person to me in this village even before my grand ma. Thats why.

Roli returned to her home with Swathi..

Gauri prepared special dishes for Dinner too.

All had dinner together

Then they sat outside to talk for sometime in open fresh air.

Gauri: Roli..

Roli: Yes Grandma!

Gauri: ROli tomorrow you need to dress up well.

Roli: Dress up well! For what?

Gauri: See you are coming here for first time after your birth right.

Roli: yes. So

Gauri: So some village people with to see you all.

Roli: Ok. Let them see casually Grand ma. For that why should i dress up well. I cant understand.

Gauri: Always first impression is the best impression right. You should look good when they see you for first time.

Roli: Come on Grandma! What matter what their impression is looking at me?

Gauri: Not like that Roli...

Roli: Ok Ok. ANyway. I will do that for you.

Swathi made Roli ready with a beautiful saree purcahsed for ROli by her Grand mother.

She comb her hair and made beautiful plait.

Roli was looking typical Indian village girl with some flowers too on her hair.

Gauri bring some jewels too for her to wear.

Roli: Oh God! These many jewels. No chance. I Cant.

Roli: Grandma! How much you will make me to do?

She showed expression as not interested.

Gauri convinced her and made her wear the jewels too..

Roli looked at mirror herself.

She was looking entirely different from all these years...

Meena rushed towards Gauri.

Meena: Maaji they all have come..

ROli: Who all have come Mom?

Meena: Roli stay calm & quiet here itself. Swathi bring ROli when we call her later.

Swathi nod her head as acceptance.

Roli was looking at all these in wonder.

She raised her eyebrows...

Gauri came down to Hall to welcome Bharatwaj family.

Gauri gave warm welcome to all and made them to sit in the hall.

Then Gauri introduced to his son the entire family.

Gauri: Jamanlal, This is Nirmala Bharatwaj head of the family & my friend. He is Mr. Rajender Bharatwaj her only son and this is Mrs. Sujatha Bharatwaj. This is Mr. Siddhant Bharatwaj one & only son of Rajender & Sujatha Bharatwaj.

Then Gauri introduced her family to Bharatwaj family members...

Jamanlal: Namasthe...

All greet each other.

Jamanlal: They did not reside in this village during my days in this village.

Nirmala: yes. I went to Delhi after getting marriage. But later we shifted to this village again as Rajender was interested in village life.

Jamanlal: Oh! May be i shifted to US when you shifted here. That is why i never meet you all earlier..

They agreed.

Gauri & Meena gave sweets & snacks to all.

Nirmala: Well Gauri. Where is your grand daughter?

Gauri looked at Meena..

Meena understood and went inside to bring Roli.

Meena: ROli come now. Take care to stay quiet.

Roli: Mom! Oh please... They have just come to see me right. They first need to see me casually as it is. Already you all made me like different person with all these dressings. Above that stay calm & quiet. They just want to see my face means, instead of me take my photo & show them. They photo wont talk anything and they can see my face too.

Meena: Roli, we are telling you to stay calm while you talk too much.. Just be silent and come with me.

ROli: Oh God! Ok OK. Lets go

ROli started walking taking fast steps..

Meena: Where are you rushing like this? Just walk slowly.

Roli: Now what is this mom? Why should i walk slowly?

Meena: it is like that only. Down your face slightly and walk slowly.

Roli: Oh God! I think i made big mistake of coming here with you all.

Meena: Shhh..

Meena hold her chin & down her face a little.

She hold her and walk herself slowly so that ROli too can walk slowly.

ROli was irritated and was feeling strange...

Roli looked at Meena and was walking slowly as she said..

They finally reached hall.

Roli slowly lift her face to see the new people sitting in that house and looking at her.

Roli expressed her happiness on seeing the first person she has met in the village.

Yes. Siddhant Bharatwaj was the person she has met in the field and near the temple.

Roli: Grandma! I know this guy already. You said someone coming who did not see me earlier.

All were looking at Siddhant with surprise where they met.

Siddhant was feeling awkward looking at his parents who looked at him with a query that how he might have met the girl already!!

Gauri & Roli's parents too were surprised hearing that...

Gauri: ROli, please sit quiet...

Roli sat quiet and showed displeasure on this face on controlling her like this.

Gauri as well as ROli's parents were not sure what will be SIddhant's decision on this marriage now.

Nirmala & Siddhant's parents was surprised to hear her calling Siddhant 'Dude' & talking to him as if they know each other for years...

Jamanlal was thinking deeply for a while...

Jamanlal: Siddhant beta, can i talk to you for a while? If others dont have any objection.

Nirmala: We dont have any objection. You can talk with him.

Jamanlal took Siddhant to backyard away from others.

Meena took Roli to her room again.

All others were waiting...

Siddhant was waiting for Jamanlal to start the conversation.

Jamanlal: Siddhant beta, you may wonder why i bring you here to talk & why i might have got to talk?

Siddhant: I can guess you wish to talk about your daughter.

Jamanlal: yes. you are right. you said you met her yesterday in the field. I know how she was yesterday.

Siddhant nod his head as acceptance.

Jamanlal: Siddhant beta, i dont know what you feel about her. But i wish to tell about my daughter to you.

Siddhant looked into his eyes to know what he wish to tell.

Jamanlal: Roli was born & brought up in US. We got no chance to even come to India all these years due to one or other reasons.

Jamanlal: The city where we live is not having much Indians and our neighbours, Roli's friends all are americans.

Jamanlal: SO ROli since childhood have not seen any Indians other than myself & her mother. So Roli grown with US style of dressing and habits.

Siddhant: Yes i saw yesterday.

Jamanlal: But i can assure she is not a girl with bad habits or anything like that. She is very intelligent and good girl. I am not telling because she is my daughter. She is innocent in nature. Ignorant to our tradition & culture.

SIddhant: Hmm.. I do understand..

Jamanlal: I have taken utmost care that she dont catch to bad habits. KNowingly or unknowingly she dont have any habits like drinking or smoking or boy friends till date.

Siddhant: Ok

Jamanlal: But how long i can hold her staying there. So I bring her here before she get into any of those and decided to get her married to Indian and i wish she lead her remaining life as Indian girl. Then only i told my mother to search for a boy and she advised me that you are suitable for her. I know she never misguide or give wrong advise. That is the reason i believe you are good enough to handle my daughter understanding her innocence and ignorance and accept her.

Siddhant looked at Jamanlal.

Jamanlal left Siddhant alone and went to hall.

Siddhant lean on a big tree in the backyard and closed his eyes.

His mind rewinded to yesterday moments in the field.

Siddhant was walking in the filed.

He suddenly heard someone calling 'Dude'

He was not sure as he never heard someone calling someone like that.

He just ignore and continued his walk.

Then he suddenly heard 'Ooch' and turned...

A beautiful girl was in the mud as she fell down skidding in the mud.

He looked at her from head to toe.

He wondered she should not belong to this village as he never seen her before.

She asked his help to get up.

She asked for some water to wash her clothes.

He took her and she returned completely wet.

She asked his help to go to village.

He turned against her and started walking towards the village...

But he knows how she looks in the wet clothes and was feeling awkward to take her in such state as he worried what if someone else too look at her like this.

She was talking to him all the way while he avoided replying her as he was getting disturbed by her.

Finally they reached the village.

She returned his tops and showed her house.

Siddhant know that is the house his mother was telling that they are going to meet the next day for his marriage alliance.

Siddhant entered into hall and sat in the seat.

All looked at Siddhant face searching for his decision.

Jamanlal was looking at him with more tension.

All were happy.

Jamanlal distributed sweets to all.

Nirmala: Gauri, we will look for auspicious day for marriage and inform you.

Gauri: Sure Nirmala. We wait for your good news.

Bharatwaj family got up to leave from there.

All stepped out the house while Jamanlal hold Siddhant's hands..

Siddhant: Dont worry. From now she is my responsibility. I will take care of her..

Jamanlal got tears filled on his eyes.

Bharatwaj family members left their house.

Jamanlal entered into the house with happiness.

Gauri: I enquired completely in the village. Nirmala herself is nice person. So i too prefered this alliance. I was really shocked when came to know he met our ROli yesterday.

Jamanlal: All for good only Maaji. I took him to backyard and told completely about her. It should not be like we hide something which they come to know later. He already saw her yesterday. So he himself knows about her. Now he agreed means i am happy. You know he also told me that she is his responsibility from now.

Gauri: Very happy to hear. Very happy.

All were excited when they heard ROl's voice from behind.

Roli: Dad! Can you tell me what is happening? What am i hearing?

Jamanlal: ROli, we have seen alliance for you.

Roli: Alliance means?

Jamanlal: We have seen bridegroom for you.

Roli: What?

Jamanlal: Yes ROli. They all came to see you for tht only.

ROli; This is not fair that you told lie to me. You said just are just coming to see me as we are coming after so many days.

jamanlal: yes we did. But we thought you may not be ready to come down if we tell the truth. Also we were waiting for thier decision.

ROli: Dad! Then what about my decision. Are you not concerned about my decision. I got no idea about my marriage now.

Jamanlal: But ROli, you reached age for marriage.

Roli: Come on dad! Age alone is not the criteria. I need to like the person. I always wish to have a love marriage in my life.

Jamanlal: Roli, here in India we love after our marriage. So you too can do that.

Roli: But pappa...

Jamanlal: You like that person right. I think you both met already. Then what is you concern

Roli: Oh Dad! we come across so many in the life. I cant marry everyone right just for the reason we met already.

Jamanlal: Roli anyway you need to marry someone why not this guy. He is very nice man.

Roli: I am not telling he selected some wrong person. But my mind have not yet selected him as right person and as a life partner for me.

Meena: ROli your mind will select by itself once marriage is done. Dont worry.

Roli: Grandma! See i came all the way to see you after these many years. Is it right that you all planned like this together and pressuring me on something which i am not interested..

Gauri: Roli, please trust me. You wont get such guy as life partner even if you search in this whole world.

Roli: Oh god! no one is understanding what i am trying to say.

Gauri: Roli see we all telling you the same. Dont you feel we all will think good only for you. Please accept our arrangement.

Gauri too left that place.

Only swathi was left there.

Roli: Swathi, All are elders & hope you are of my age and understand my situation.

Swathi: ROli shall i tell you something. You know you got selected with such a gem of person. You are new so you dont know about him. But slowly you will understand him. Please accept for this.

Bharatwaj family members reached their house.

They sat in the hall.

Nirmala: Siddhant, we are very happy that you agreed for the marriage. But wonder what was happening..

Siddhant understood what she mean.

Siddhant: Mataji, nothing to worry. Actually she is born & brought up in US. She is new to Indian tradition & customs. So her father was worried and explained about her to me. He is nice gentleman who was not interested to hide about her and make her accept. He told openly which made me accept this marriage in 1st place.

Nirmala: Oh Ok! I was worried why he is talking to you separately like that.

Siddhant: Nothing to worry mataji. We know how our city girls will be then when she was in US completely, then her knowledge to India itself is new.

Nirmala: Yes Gauri said on that day itself when we started talking about this alliance that she was born & brought up there but her son wish her to get married to Indian. Then only i too agreed for this marriage. Happy that they are frank in telling the facts.

All agreed.

Nirmala: Siddhant the girl is very beautiful too. She matches with you well.

Siddhant blushed...

Nirmala contacted Pandit and decided their marriage date the next week itself.

Nirmala informed Gauri about the date.

They did not arrange for engagement separate as the marriage itself fixed for next week.

Gauri called the Goldsmith to make mangal sutra.

Gauri also called the shop keeper in the near by town to bring the clothes for Marriage to their house itself.

THey selected the dress staying in the house.

ROli was wondering on getting the things arrange from home itself instead of going in search to any shops..

ROli was not interested in any of these arragements too.

But still she got no other way other than accepting it as her entire family is adamant on their decision of getting her married...

ROli prepared her mind to accept what is insisted on her now...

Part 17

Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet were all celebrated in their houses separately as it is village and not allowed to mingle the family together on those celebrations.

The next day was thier marraige.

Roli was on her room looking into her dark mehendi on her hands.

She for the first time looked that his name is writte in that 'Siddhant'

Roli was thinking, this seems to be that dude's name.

Roli was feeling, atleast he was selected instead of any other stranger by her family.

Roli was little tensed how she is going to handle all the coming days marrying an Indian and staying in the village.

First of all she is new to the country, new to the village, new to married life with unknown person.

ROli to herself: Oh God! WHere i am struck suddenly in my life. i was not suppose to come to India hearing Dad's words. It seems to be like they planned everything well in advance.

She was feeling bad on the ways she was not considered and her thoughts were not accepted.

But no use now on thinking any of those. almost half of the marriage ceremony functions like mehendi, sangeet everything done. Only marraige is pending.

That too will be done the next day...

Roli was turning sides without getting sleep...

Siddhant was equally disturbed.

He accepted the marriage..

He knows she is innocent and ignorant.

But on the other hand he was worried how she is going to cope with the village and her family.

How much my family members will bear with her ignorance is also a question?

Anyway decided is decided.

Roli was getting ready with help of Swathi.

Roli: You know it is important day of my life. But did not understand what i mean for that important day.

Gauri: Roli, we tried our best to make you understand what we are doing is for your good. Now you have anyway agreed for the marriage then why not with a smile.

Meena: Yes ROli. You look more beautiful with a smile. Please do smiling.

Swathi: ROli, you just smile. Your bridegroom will not be able to shift his eyes from you.

Roli: Swathi, please... I am not interested in hearing any of these...

Gauri: Roli, just relax & remember you can trust us. You are getting married to wonderful person.

Roli: No need to certify that dude. I know him.

Meena: Roli when you know about him. Then what is the worry.

Roli: My worry is i am not yet prepared to marry him.

Gauri: Roli none of us were prepared to marry when we get into marriage. Then we accepted our life and we did lived happily. Similarly you too will for sure.

They bring Roli to marriage mandap.

Siddhant who was in marriage mandap already was astonished by her beauty.

All the village people too praised her beauty and the pair matchen when they sat together.

Jamanlal did kanyadan of ROli to Siddhant.

Roli & Siddhant exchanged garlands..

Swathi tied the clothes of ROSID together..

ROSID took 7 pheres around the fire.

Siddhant filled sindoor on Roli's forehead.

Siddhant put mangal sutra on Roli's neck..

ROSID took blessings of the elders...

ROli was not used to all these though she did what he did as instructed by her mother & grandmother to do so...

All prayed to God to bless the newly married couple with all happiness..

ROSID went to Bharatwaj house.

Sujatha took aarthi to ROSID

Roli was told to gently kick the kalash and enter into the house with right leg.

Roli did that.

Then she stepped into the plate with aarti and kept her legs with reg leg prints into the house.

ROli was taken to Pooja room.

Roli wonder what to do now.

ROli was told to keep her hand print in the wall.

She did that..

ROli was told to lit the diya.

Siddhant got up and went near Roli.

He hold her hands and pulled close to him.

ROli fall on his chest by his sudden pulling.

SId: Just like how you kissed feeling myself close to your heart.

Roli pushed him gently and moved apart.

Siddhant wake up and saw ROli still sleeping on his shoulders hugging him tightly.

Roli: Oh! Does 4 hands means this much?

SId: Then what? I am trying to manage it and you are putting your questions. Why cant you wait till we come here to our room.

She moved from there and lay down on the bed.

She put the headphone and talked to them excited..

Siddhant was admiring her happily talking to her freinds.

Friend: Roli when are you returning to US.

Roli face expression changed...

Roli: Hi i wont be coming there.

Friend: What are you telling?

ROli: I got married.

Friend: What??

Roli: Yes. I got married here and i will be staying here only.

Friend: Come on. Are you kidding?

Roli: No dear. I am telling the truth.

Friend: How come Roli? You were not even interested to go to India and how you got married with some Indian.

Roli looked at Siddhant who was pretending not noticed her all these time.

Roli: But you know. He is nice guy.

Friend: oh great! Ok dear. We are moving out. will catch you tomorrow.

ROli; Ok. Bye.

ROli disconnected the line and shut down the laptop.

ROli went near him to give back the laptop.

She sat beside him.

She lean on his shoulder and hold his hands tightly...

Sid: ROli, What happend?

ROli: Nothing. Can i sit like this for sometime?

Sid: Sure ROli. I never told you to stay away & dont touch. SO you can.

Roli looked at him lifting her face and kissed on his cheeks..

Next day...

Siddhant & Roli took bath & went down.

Mataji: Siddhant, take Roli to temple today.

Sid: Ok Mataji...

ROSID went to temple.

it was walkable from their house.

When they were walking all the way the village people greet him with respect.

Siddhant too greet them in return and they reached the temple.

In the temple too, the pandit did special pooja on seeing Siddhant

Roli was surprised to see the respect he is getting in the village.

She remember no such individual will get any great respect in US. All will be busy in their own tasks.

ROli looked at Siddhant and hold her hands together in the temple and prayed.

One lady came there.

Lady: Siddhant beta, thanks for your timely help. That is why my daughter able to continue her studies.

Sid: Nothing big i did. I just did which i can & its my responsibility too.

Lady: Still all may not come forward to do such help.

Sid: No big words. Ok. You tell your daughter to study well.

Lady moved away conveying her thanks to him again.

ROli: Siddhant what you did & why she is thanking you?

Sid: Nothing big Roli. I just helped her to get the admission for her daughter in nearby city. Also arranged for her stay in the hostel and all. So she is thanking.

Roli: Oh Good! You do such helps to all it seems.

Sid: Why you think so?

Roli: I can see good respect for you from the village people.

Sid: Roli, this is our village. So i do my best to help the people. Nothing great.

He said with a smile while ROli looked at him with pride.

When they were returning ROSID met Swathi & her father.

Swathi's father started talking to Siddhant while Swathi took ROli aside.

Swathi: Roli, you were not interested in the marriage. Are you ok now?

Roli: Swathi, you said on that day good about Siddhant.

Swathi: Roli, how come you are telling your husband name like this?

Roli: So what that is his name right?

Swathi: May be. But you cant tell your husband name in the village.

Swathi: Yes i said because he is very nice guy. He helps all in the village. Helping minded, broad minded.

Swathi gave examples to ROli about how he help to others when they are in need.

ROli was feeling happy about hearing all these.

Swathi: Good that you got interest to know about him. When you will get interest on him then?

Swathi: OH jiju! remember she is my sister too. I am teasing my sister.

Sid: But she is my wife now. I cant allow anyone tease her.

Swathi: Oh Oh Jiju! See Roli. How much he is supporting you in just 2 days?

Swathi with her father moved from there.

Roli looked at Siddhant with a pride.

SId: Roli what happend? What is the meaning of this look now?

Roli: Swathi was telling what all you do to this village people.

Sid: HI ROli! As i said just whatever i can. Nothing much. Come lets go home.

ROSID returned to thier house...

Roli contacted her freinds that evening as they said will contact tomorrow.

Friend: Hi ROli! We are planning to come there to see you.

Roli: Really!

Friend: Yes. But may not come till village and all. Just come to Delhi Airport. We will met you & your hubby in the airport and return in the next flight as you know we got classes. But also we wish to see you.

Roli: Well dear! I will come.

Roli noted her flight details..

They did talk for sometime and disconnected the line.

Roli was excited to see her friends after few days.

Roli rushed towards Siddhant who was reading some book and hug him tightly.

She kissed on his cheeks.

Sid: ROli, you are very much excited.

Roli: Yes Siddhant. You know my freinds are coming to India to see us.

Sid: Oh! SO you are very happy to see your freinds.

ROli: You know Siddhant. I never thought when coming from there that i will not go back to US. But you are aware right my marriage happend suddenly. I was upset that i may not be able to see them again.

SId: May be your freinds too were missing you and coming all the way to India.

Roli: Yes Siddhant. But due to their tight schedule they are coming till Delhi airport only. We need to go there and meet them. They will return from there itself.

Sid: Ok Dont worry. I will take you.

Roli: Thank you.

ROli got tears filled on her eyes and kissed him again...

Roli by now was trying to do washing, cleaning on her own remembering how Siddhant did.

Also tried to help Sujatha in kitchen work too.

Mataji & Sujatha were happy that Roli got interest to learn and trying to do.

SO they always encouraged her and helped her in doing.

Siddhant maintained distance from her from going himself to her after she cried and he committed to her that he will not touch her.

Roli herself will go to him when she is excited or when she feel dull.

ROSID were getting ready to go to Delhi.

Siddhant already informed his parents & Mataji that ROli's friends coming to Delhi and they need to meet them.

Roli was looking herself in the mirror.

Suddenly her face expression changed.

Roli: Siddhant, nothing...

Sid: Hi Roli, Your nothing speaks so many things. Tell me what is suddenly bothering you.

Roli: Siddhant they never seen me in Indian dress like this. They may tease me if they look at me like this. But i cant wear that dress too...

Siddhant think for a while...

Sid: Roli, no need to bother..

Roli: How SIddhant? How can i wear that here?

Sid: ROli, just take your dress in a cover and come with me.

ROli packed her dress in a cover and she found a cover on SId's hand too.

ROSID waved bye to her family members.

Siddhant told Roli to wait and bring his car from the car shed.

Roli wondered as she never know he own a car and it is there in the car shed.

ROli get into the car with a smile.

ROSID went to Roli's parents house.

Roli: Siddhant you look handsome in Jeans & Tshirt. Then why you dont wear it always.

Sid: Roli this is not our traditional dress. Thats why. We need to live the way our village is so that we can mingle with the people well.

SId: To match my wife. Your friends should not think that their friend married a villager...

ROSID reached Delhi airport.

Roli's friends came out of the airport and rushed towards Roli in happiness.

They hug each other...

All were excited to look at each other.

Roli introduced her friends to Siddhant and introduced Siddhant to her friends...

Siddhant too talked with them nicely.

Infact Siddhant maintained their accent too when talking.

Sid: Of course. I did my Master of Science there only.

Roli: What?? You did Master of Science in US.

SId: Yes..

Roli: But you never told me.

Siddhant smiled.

Sid: We never discussed about my studies till now. SO got no chance to tell that.

Roli: Then why you are staying in the village.

Sid: Roli, it does not mean that we need to stay in the city or abroad because we did studied. Service to the village is required from we like people.

ROli: SO you are staying in village and helping your people.

SId: yes. i returned to village after finishing my studies. Taking care of our field and also doing to the best to our people.

ROli: Siddhant! You are great.

Sid: Nothing great in this Roli. It is our responsibility.

Roli smiled.

She went near his face and kissed on his cheeks.

Roli was remembering her moments with Siddhant since their first meet in the field.

She closed her eyes and remembered each & every moment.

In the field, near the temple, in the house when he came with his parents, then their marriage...

She remembered how he handled her after marriage...

Sid: It means you have not stopped playing with dolls after childhood.

Roli: Exactly! You know those dolls were purchased when i was child. Still i am keeping it new and play with it always.

Sid: You father said all about you. But not told that you are still a child. Otherwise i might have thought about my decision.

Roli was trying her best to learn handling the works while Siddhant was helping her to the extent possible.

He went near her and sat beside her.

Roli: Siddhant, today my parents are returning to US.

Tears filled on her eyes.

Rosid took their car and went to Roli house.

Jamanlal & Meena get into the car.

They started their journey towards the airport.

Roli was excited & was talking to her parents all the way.

She told to convey her inquiries to her friends.

Roli: yes. Take care of my dolls too.

Roli parents were happy to see siddhant not minding her innocence.

After few more minutes of travel they reached airport.

Rosid went till they can inside the airport.

Roli was happy to see him talking like that to her parents.

Roli got up and sat angrily.

Siddhant went near her and warapped his hands around her.

Roli: DOnt talk to me...

Sid: Sorry. You are right. You sing the song which is known to you. But you know we are in such silent atmosphere. That too night time. So i was expecting a melong song darling. Thats why.

Roli was in the kitchen helping Sujatha in preparing sweets and dishes.

Her stomach was crying for food.

She is not used to fasting...

On seeing the sweets & dishes, her hunger was increasing...

Roli: Maaji, why we need to stay hungry?

Sujatha: Roli, this is special function which we do for our husband. We need to stay fasting the whole day and can eat only by evening.

ROli: How can we stay fasting the whole day Maaji? you know i never stay empty stomach you know.

Sujatha: Roli as this is your first year and doing it for first time you are feeling like that. But you see we keep fasting every year.
