It was all very real... From the proposal to the live chat with family to their emotions. Normal people propose at sporting events and stuff so they can do it in front of the world so I don't see what's so negative about what Upen did? He wanted to make it special.. And how can it get bigger than this? Ravi engaged Sargun in Nach Baliye 5 too.

Ravi and Shagun were in relation for more then 3 years so they were prepared for the next step, though the ring was sponsored by NB 5 team same as upma's ring but atleast nobody doubted their relationship.
When people propose at sports event, they pay anywhere around $2500 - $10k. Every proposal has a price tag attached to it. Its never free when it comes to public event.
