Who has a chance to make it big

I have been an ardent silent follower of IF. I also am an avid viewer of both SaReGaMaPa and Indian Idol. We all get attached to the participant every year. This year I am watching the show with a little less attachment. However, I wait every Friday and Saturday to listen to Raja, Amanat, Aneek, Sumedha, Mussarat, and Poonam. Never liked Mauli's style of singing was furious with Zee team (mentors and mahagurus included) for the injustice mitted out to other singers to keep Mauli for vote bank's sake since the time Sareeka was eliminated.

Now coming back to my point, recently I have been thinking who from the current lot of good singers could possibly sustain in the industry. I only see Raja and Mussarat in that category. Raja has unique voice quality and there are not too many singers with that quality crowding the industry. Same with Mussarat.

Rest (be it Aneek, Amanat, Poonam or Sumedha) are good, but we have other singers in the industry with similar voice quality with very strong hold. Hence there might not be any room for them, except for one/two song here and there. My belief comes from the achievement of other excellent singers in past seasons like Nihira (my personal favorite), Hemachandra, Debojit, Karunya, Arijit, Amey Date, Minal Jain etc.

This is however just my openion. Want to hear what you guys think.

There is a deluge of singers, composers, actors, musicians, all of them aspiring to make it BIG...but only a handful will propser.....

People who have raw talent will definitely survive...

There is nothing special about Mauli's singing style. She is not even a consistent singer. I do not belive she has what it takes to be good singer. Just my openion.

I think Poonam's voice and Amanat's voice suits the actors well...and Raja and Aneek sing well but it may not be for the actors they can sing in pop albums.

Mauli was just a bad singer, who survived for her US tag.The remaining contestants are awesome 😊

I like Amanat's singing a lot. Wish he makes it big. Aneek is a fantastic singer too. Raja is good. Now it gets tougher each week.

I think Amanat is an awesome singer with a rich voice, I hope he makes it big here
