The actor is fond of kids and this film might be the only second one to explore this oft-discussed side of him...
Salman Khan has an enviable fan following which includes people of all ages. If adults chest thump in his support, elderly love to watch him. But it is the kids who emulate and want to be him the most. I remember asking a little Salman fangirl why she likes the actor so much. Her prompt reply was, "Woh dusron ki madad karta hai aur mein bhi". (He helps others like me). There are others who emulate his dance moves, his walk and the way he talks. He is a big hit among the kids and it seems Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to cater to them! The film has Salman playing the messiah to a lost Pakistani girl and from the look of it; there will be a lot of scenes which will establish their uncanny bonding. No wonder the film's teaser trailer alone has garnered over 1.3 million hits in less than 24 hours!
Now, this side of Salman Khan has only been explored once before even though the actor never hid his fondness for the tiny humans. His 1998 hit film Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai showcased it when his many flirtatious affairs land him with a kid out of the wedlock in the film. Salman and Aditya Narayan, who played his son in the film, had an awesome bonding in the film. In fact, reports suggest that more than his chemistry with Twinkle Khanna, it was his attachment with Aditya that drew more crowds. We aren't surprised about that either.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan's teaser too makes it apparent that Salman is out to please his already impressed kid fan following. Here's why...
#A different Salman
He isn't the usual Dabangg or Bodyguard self in the teaser. It is a lot softer, which highlights a side we have rarely seen. Guess the fact that he will have to deal with a kid in the film made him tread a path he has been travelling a lot less on.
#Bonding with the kid
Given the fact that it is about his journey to Pakistan to help the girl reach her home, there definitely will be a lot of endearing scenes between the two. Last time, we saw him with a kid in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, we fell in love with him all over again. This won't be any different.
#Innocent influence
Yes, there will be maar dhaad since it is a Salman Khan film. Nothing satiates his fans more than his kicks and punches. But if you have noticed the trailer keenly, towards the end, when asked by Nawazuddin Siddiqui who will help him, Salman answers with a smile, "Bajrang Bali". But when Siddiqui points out that he is going to Pakistan, the actor wears a puzzled look. Aren't we just smitten by that innocence on his face? We are and kids are nothing if not innocent.
Not long ago, Rakesh Roshan tapped his son Hrithik Roshan's craze among the little population of India and created a mammoth of a franchise called Krrish. BB might become another such example since, in India, children films are rarely made. Here, the added advantage is of having sab bachchon ka pyara Salman in it...one can only imagine its effect.
So all you kids out there, BB could be Salman's gift to you! So stay tuned!https://www.bollywoodlife.com/news-gossip/heres-why-kids-will-love-salman-khans-bajrangi-bhaijaan-act/
