Episode 12: A Deceit and A Surprise
"Okay. So how do you want to deal with this chick?" Krish asked Chaya. Krish and Chaya were still on Sector Mahi where they found themselves up against the witch Raima for her new prism shard. "Well?" Krish asked Chaya again.
"Would you shut up and let me think?!"
"Well then! Someone's touchy!"
"You moron! Whatever we do, we go by my strategy. Otherwise you'll do something stupid."
"If you're gonna be that way, then I'll just go and make the first move."
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Just watch!"
Krish immediately took off, jumping up in the air as he then threw a fireball attack at Raima. But Raima dodged it. And that was when she launched her Sweet Kiss attack which hit Krish directly, making him fall to the ground. He laid on the ground, his head dizzy and spinning. "Moron!" Chaya exclaimed. "At least I know what to do!"
Chaya immediately went ahead and smacked Krish in the face, waking him up from the attack. "OWW!" Krish cried as he got up. "Why'd you do that?!"
"So that you could stop acting like an idiot, that's why!"
"Well its not like you're making the situation any better!"
Raima smirked for a moment and all of a sudden, puffs of pink smoke began to form around her. While Krish and Chaya were bickering, the two turned around, confused at seeing all the smoke. Once the smoke faded away, Raima had disappeared. "What the heck?! Where did she go?!" Chaya asked.
"Krish! Chaya!" a voice called. Krish and Chaya turned around to see Sagar and Bhoomi coming towards them, flying down on a boulder that Bhoomi was controlling. The two got off once they landed, going up to Krish and Chaya.
"What are you two doing here?" Chaya asked Sagar and Bhoomi.
"Its urgent!" Bhoomi exclaimed.
"We got an alert from one of Master Suri's servants. He was killed." Sagar said.
"What?!" Krish said, shocked.
"We have to go to the tower right now!" Bhoomi said.
And so, Sagar, Bhoomi, Krish, and Chaya came to Master Suri's tower where Roshan and Sanaya had arrived as well. Once the group entered the tower, they were shocked to see the only thing left of Master Suri was his gold chain that laid on the floor of the torn down chamber. "Who would do something like this?" Sanaya asked.
"Why do I get the feeling that this whole shard hunting spree was a way of setting us up?" Krish asked.
"I get that feeling too." Bhoomi agreed.
"Who did you two go up against?" Krish questioned Sagar and Bhoomi.
"We got the news on our way to Sector Raat so we didn't even get a chance at a fight." Sagar replied.
"Strange thing is...whoever killed Master Suri didn't take any of the shards." Roshan said as he opened the drawers of Master Suri's desk.
"Then why even try to kill him? And if he really is dead, then where is his body?" Sagar asked.
"I can answer your questions." a voice said.
The Spectrum turned around to see one of Master Suri's servants standing right before them. "You're Master Suri's main servant right?" Chaya asked. "What's your name?"
"I'm Shukla. I'll explain everything." the servant replied.
And so, Shukla led the Spectrum outside of the chamber room where they sat down. As they sat down, Shukla began to explain. "Your Master Suri may seem just like a simple master. But he wasn't. He used to work with Vardhan," Shukla explained. "They were accomplices from long back. Suri found an interesting way to get the prism shards. And that was by getting together the Spectrum. So he tried o find out as much about all of you and posed as a simple man requesting to guide all of you to get the prism shards."
"Say what?!" Krish exclaimed.
"So we could've almost been duped?!" Roshan asked.
"Then who came and killed him? And for what?" Sagar asked.
"While you were all sent to retrieve prism shards from different sectors, Vardhan came here and killed Suri. In fact, it seemed like this was all a setup so Vardhan could come and kill Suri," Shukla explained. "They probably always wanted to get rid of him so they could obtain the shards themselves."
"If that's the case, then why didn't they take any?" Chaya questioned.
"They did. They took Suri's." Shukla replied.
"But why not take all of them?" Bhoomi asked. "There has to be a reason behind that."
"It looks like they're messing with us in some way. So we need to keep our guard on." Sagar said.
"That's fine. But what are we going to do now?" Krish asked. "How are we going to find the rest of the shards now?"
"First, we're going to take the shards we already have," Sagar said as he grabbed the box of the shards. "We'll take these back to Earth. Shukla, do you know another way for us to detect the shards?"
"The crystal ball that Suri had which was used to detect shards is broken now. But I will try to repair it back to its form which will help all of you." Shukla said.
"So now we're gonna trust the servant of our fake excuse of a master?" Krish questioned the others.
"If Shukla wasn't trustworthy, he wouldn't tell us the truth." Sanaya pointed out.
"That's true." Roshan agreed.
"Then let's head back and we'll have to discuss over this back there." Sagar told the others.
Back on Earth, the Spectrum returned and were heading over to Roshan's house.
"I can't believe this whole time we've been trusting the wrong guy!" Krish exclaimed.
"We should've suspected something earlier." said Chaya.
"Its okay, guys! At least we now know. Let's just head back and take a break." Bhoomi said as the group made their way to the doorstep of the house.
Once Roshan opened the door of the house, he was shocked at what he saw. "DAD?!" Roshan screamed. The others came inside, surprised to see Mr. Roy in the living room.
"Not again." Sanaya rolled her eyes.
"Why do you always welcome yourself in, Dad?!" Roshan exclaimed.
"Hey! I paid for this house! So you respect your old man!" Mr. Roy shouted at Roshan.
"Yes, Daddy." Roshan nodded in a scared tone.
"Oh look! Your friends are here as well!" Mr. Roy exclaimed.
"Nice to see you, Mr. Roy." Sagar greeted.
"By the way, what are you doing here, sir?" Krish asked.
"Oh yes! Let me share the news!" Mr. Roy exclaimed. "Roshan and Sanaya are getting married!"
"WHAT?!" Sagar, Bhoomi, Krish, and Chaya shouted in unison.
"Yes! I knew something was going on between these two! After all, they have been living together! Modern types!" Mr. Roy exclaimed. "But I'm happy! I've already got the wedding date set for the second of August! So all of you must come! All right?! Anyways, I'll be leaving now!"
With that, Mr. Roy left while Roshan and Sanaya looked away from the others in shame.
"You two are getting married?!" Bhoomi asked Roshan and Sanaya.
"Its not my fault my dad's a crazy man!" Roshan whined.
"You know what they say. Like father, like son." Chaya said.
"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!" Roshan shouted.
"He did leave some flowers on the table." Sanaya pointed out to a bouquet of flowers on the coffee table.
"NO!" Roshan cried as he grabbed the bouquet. "HE PUT SEVEN FLOWERS IN THIS! HE KNOWS I HATE ODD NUMBERS! I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT THESE WEEDS!"
While Roshan kept whining, Sanaya shook her head. "I can't believe I might end up getting married to this guy." Sanaya said.
"Man! Now what am I gonna do?! I was gonna get my parents to hitch me off to Sanaya!" Krish exclaimed. Chaya then whacked Krish on the head, making him fall on the floor with a thud.
"No one's gonna hitch you off to anyone!" Chaya said, irritated.
"Oh shut up! I don't wanna end up stuck with someone like you!" Krish exclaimed as he got up. He then turned over to Bhoomi and smirked as he put his elbow on her shoulder. "Then again...Bhoomi's always free!"
Before Chaya could smack Krish again, Sagar did the job for her and smacked him even harder right on the head as Krish fell to the floor again. "Don't even think about it." Sagar shook his head, annoyed.
"Well then. In some way or another, things are going to change around here." said Chaya.
