Post all the dramas involving society members trying to get Popatlal married with Sapna, Bagha and Bawri will be finally seen getting engaged on SAB TV's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chasma but does that really mean that they are getting married before Popatlal. To most of you, the answer might be yes. Lets see what was Asit Modi's answer to this when he was asked by a source.
"The episodes which involved Popatlal and Sapna was intentionally done to make our fans think that Popatlal is not going to get married soon. We have planned a special sequence for his marriage, and it is supposed to be a sudden surprise to all our fans. While in the coming episodes you will see that Bagha and Bawri getting engaged but that does not mean they will be getting married before Popatlal. Bagha-Bawri's marriage is not our priority and we may plan it when the time is right. Popatlal's marriage is planned and will be happening soon so keep watching."
Last year's special marriage sequence of Popatlal-Bulbul could have been a memorable track just if it was done right. It gained TMKOC 1st position on TRP ratings and the track lasted for more than a month.
It is again expected that Popatlal's marriage sequence will gain TMKOC 1st position on TRP listings just if they really get him married this time !
