Dhoni Biopic Postponed?

He was appreciated for his turn as Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!', and then spotted at a Chennai Super Kings match prepping for his role as MS Dhoni. In an interview to Pinkvilla, Sushant Singh Rajput had also stated that he would be stepping into the cricket captain's onscreen shoes in May.

However, the Dhoni biopic has been reportedly postponed. Rights issues over the film and their cost are still being discussed. Even as the hunt for a leading lady is on, the film's makers are still negotiating over the rights with M S Dhoni's representatives.

Sushant Singh Rajput had grown his hair in preparation for this coveted role. The film is to be directed by Neeraj Pandey.

He has already grown his hair and the film doesnt even have a leading lady yet. Does he not want to work in anything other than this biopic and Paani, both of them a big question mark?

After Paani now Dhoni biopic is also been postponed. Bad time for Sushant.

Read an article that they have either already given or have to give Dhoni 80 crores.

LOL. With that sort of money spent before they even start with the movie and casting, I doubt this movie will ever get made.

We will hear it has been shelved soon.

Forget Dhoni Biopic...right now Virat kohli biopic wud be more interesting(they can do a Part 1 now and 2nd part 10yrs later lol) n they can cast Varun n Anushka😆 jus joking. 😛

I personally find sushant a bit overrated...but he seems to have put alot of effort into preparing for the role..why dont they jus shoot n finish it...All this postponing is jus gonna kill all the interest

I just know that Sushant is being very stupid. So early in his career, he should be working in any and every movie he can get. Why is he waiting for that one big movie that will make him the next SRK? That movie, if it has to come, will come when he least expects it. But from his career choices, looks like he is only focused on that.

And yeah, I dont put anything past KJo myself. He is very capable of manipulating things to favor his favorites. Parineeti is the biggest example.
