Episode 12: Disha's Love Life
It was a regular day at Dhingra High School. Down in the Jungle Jail, probation officers Riddhi, Aditya, Nikkita, and Disha were all at work, dealing with various clients. During this time, Disha in particular was with a client by the name of Mickey Singh. "Dishaji, I did everything you asked me. I cleaned the faculty bathrooms and I even bought new soap as well," Mickey told Disha. "Can I get off probation now?"
But Disha wasn't paying attention to a word that Mickey was saying. Instead, she was giggling as she was playing around on her phone, texting. This caught the attention of Aditya, Nikkita, and Riddhi. Mickey looked confused and said, "Dishaji."
"Yeah." Disha said, still distracted by her phone.
"So can I get off probation?" Mickey asked.
"Yeah, yeah." Disha said.
"Really?! Thank you! Thank you!" Mickey exclaimed as he then dashed off, running up the staircase from the Jungle Jail.
Riddhi, Aditya, and Nikkita shared surprised looks on their faces. "Disha, is everything okay with you?" Riddhi asked.
"Huh?" Disha said, still texting on her phone.
"You've been acting really strange lately." Nikkita said.
"Is everything okay?" Aditya asked.
"Of course! Couldn't be any better! Now, I got to go now!" Disha exclaimed as she grabbed hold of her backpack.
"Now? Duty time isn't even over yet." NIkkita said.
"For me it is! Bye!" Disha exclaimed as she then headed up the stairs of the staircase, prancing upstairs while the others looked on, confused.
"What's with her?!" Nikkita asked. "She's acting really strange. I mean, stranger than usual."
"She seemed really obsessed with her phone today. More than she usually is with her food." Riddhi pointed out.
"Whatever," Aditya rolled his eyes. "At least its not as bad as-"
"Adi Pie!" Cookie exclaimed as she jumped on Aditya from behind as the two fell to the ground while she gave him a big hug.
"I shouldn't have said anything." Aditya shook his head as Cookie hugged him.
"Does she not have anything else to do with her life?!" Nikkita shouted in frustration.
At that moment, Luv came downstairs, covered in patches of blue paint on his face and arms. He came up to Riddhi and said, "There! I repainted the walls of the teachers lounge! Are you happy now?!"
"You have one more thing to do." Riddhi told Luv.
"What is that?!" Luv asked.
"Follow me." Riddhi said as she pulled Luv by his hand and walked upstairs.
"Where are you going with him?" Aditya asked Riddhi.
"I'm going to figure out what's going on with Disha." Riddhi replied.
Upstairs, Riddhi and Luv were walking down the hall towards the cafeteria where lunch was going on. "Why the heck are we here?!" Luv whined.
"Look! Disha has been acting really weird lately!"
"She's already weird! There's nothing you can do about that!"
"Shut up! She's been acting all gushy for some reason. Like today during duty time, she was constantly on her phone and giggling all the time!"
"Maybe she's going through a phase."
"Just shut up and follow!"
Riddhi then looked ahead to see Disha was standing right outside of the cafeteria. Riddhi pulled Luv to the side near a wall. "She's right there!" Riddhi pointed out.
"So what?! She's just standing there!"
"Shut up! It looks like she's waiting for someone!"
"So she's waiting for a friend! So what?!"
"Shut up and watch!"
As Riddhi and Luv watched Disha stand by the cafeteria doors, a young boy dressed in a white T-shirt with a red plaid shirt over it, blue jeans, and neon red sneakers with neon blue strings came towards Disha. Riddhi and Luv were both confused. "Who's this boy coming towards Disha?" Riddhi asked.
"He's probably just a friend." Luv said.
Just then, Disha looked at the boy happily and as he came towards her, she gave him a big hug, exclaiming, "Randy!" Riddhi and Luv looked on in surprise as Disha and Randy were hugging.
"Randy?! Who's Randy?!" Luv asked.
"And why are they hugging?" Riddhi questioned.
"Did you miss me, sweetheart?!" Randy asked Disha. "Be honest!"
"Of course I did! You know how bored I was on duty!" Disha exclaimed.
"Anyways, look at what I brought you today!" Randy exclaimed as he then drew out a box wrapped in a plaid cloth.
Disha took off the cloth and opened the box and was ecstatic to see gulab jamuns inside. "Aww! You got me gulab jamuns today! So sweet!" Disha exclaimed.
"I had to! You're my little Gulab Jamun! That's why I love you!"
"Love you too!"
Disha hugged Randy again while Riddhi and Luv looked on in shock. "Oh my gosh!" Riddhi exclaimed. "Do you know what this means?!"
"I don't want to!"
"Disha has a boyfriend!"
"No! No way!"
"Why are you so shocked?! You have a crush on her or something?!"
"Eww! Heck no! I just don't get it! How can someone actually LOVE Disha?!"
"Could say the same thing to you."
"Hey! Girls love me!"
"Are they girls or aunties?!"
"You better watch that mouth of yours!"
"I have to tell the others!"
"WHAT?!" Nikkita and Aditya shouted in unison. In the lobby, Riddhi had come along with Luv to share the news about Disha to Nikkita and Aditya.
"Tell me you're not serious!" Nikkita exclaimed.
"Its true! We saw it with our own eyes!" Riddhi said.
"Well who is the guy?" Aditya asked.
"Some Randy kid." Luv replied.
"Then it must be Randeep Chauhan." Aditya said.
"You know this guy?" Nikkita asked.
"Yeah. He was one of Disha's former clients. He was classified as a monkey. You know like Luv." Aditya said.
"Hey!" Luv exclaimed.
"No wonder Disha didn't tell us!" Riddhi pointed out. "She probably thought that we would flip out over her dating one of her former clients."
"Well it is pretty weird. Especially since its Disha!" Nikkita exclaimed.
"Oh come on! I mean sure he was a once a monkey! But he seems okay now. And it looks like he makes Disha happy." Riddhi said.
"Riddhi has a point." Aditya agreed.
"So now what?" Nikkita asked.
"We'll go confront Disha and let her know we're okay with her and Randy." Riddhi replied.
"Can I go now?!" Luv whined.
"NO! You're coming with us!" Riddhi exclaimed.
"YOU GUYS WE'RE SPYING ON ME!" Disha shouted at Riddhi, Aditya, Nikkita, and Luv. After school, the gang had met up in the Jungle Jail where they told Disha that they found out about her little secret.
"Don't get violent! You're much calmer now with that boy around!" Nikkita exclaimed.
"We just wanted to know why you were acting really different lately." Aditya said.
"And don't worry! We're completely okay with it!" Riddhi assured.
"Really?!" Disha asked.
"Yeah! If Randy makes you happy, then we're happy." Riddhi said.
"Yeah what she said." Luv said.
"Aww! You guys are so sweet!" Disha exclaimed. "Randy does make me happy! You know something?! He brings me sweets every day! He even has a nickname for me! Gulab Jamun!"
"Eww." Luv said.
Riddhi then kicked Luv at his knee.
"I mean...phew, he doesn't call you something else!" Luv exclaimed, paining from the kick.
Riddhi kicked Luv again in the knee.
"I mean...aah forget it!" Luv exclaimed, his knee hurting more than ever.
"Anyways, we're all happy for you." Aditya said.
"And for ourselves! Someone can control you from now on!" Nikkita exclaimed.
Disha's phone then vibrated and she checked it, saying, "Randy just texted me! I have to meet him in the library! Bye!"
"Bye." the others said as Disha then dashed upstairs.
"So cute na! Seeing Disha so happy with her own lover!" Riddhi exclaimed.
"Cute?! Its like an owner hanging out with his dog!" Luv said.
"Shut up, Luv!" Nikkita talked back. "Let the girl be happy."
Later that day, Luv was walking down the streets when he headed inside a coffee shop called "Mama's Chai". While there, Luv went up to the register to order some coffee.
"What would you like?" the cashier asked Luv.
"One cappuchino with extra sugar." Luv replied.
"Okay. Sit at a table and we will bring it to you." the cashier said.
Luv nodded and then turned around to find a table to sit at. But as he turned around, he was surprised at what he saw. Right before him, Randy was sitting at a table with another girl. The girl had long, curly brown hair and was wearing a pink mini dress and pink pumps. What surprised Luv even more was that Randy was holding hands with the girl as they sat at the table. Randy then drew out a box wrapped in a plaid cloth, handing it to the girl. The girl happily opened the box, seeing gulab jamuns inside.
"Gulab Jamun! My favorite!" the girl exclaimed. "Oh Randy, you're so sweet!"
"I knew you'd like it! After all, you are my little Gulab Jamun!" Randy exclaimed as he pinched the girl's cheek.
"Oh Randy! I love you!" the girl exclaimed as she got up and gave Randy a hug.
"Love you too!" Randy said as he hugged the girl back.
"What a two timer," Luv said, shocked at seeing the whole thing. "I knew something was wrong about this whole thing! Man! Disha's gonna flip out when she finds out!"
