Priyanka cops out: won't perform stunts herself in Gangaajal2

Priyanka Chopra's turning a tough cop for the Gangaajal sequel directed by Prakash Jha. And despite this being an action-packed woman-oriented film, the actress won't perform the stunts herself.

Our source reveals, "Priyanka won't perform any of the action sequences in the film. There are important stunts that cannot be done away with either. Jha and action director Sham Kaushal have decided to rope in a body double instead."

So, is the jungli billi shying away from action? Says our khabroo, "No, she loves action, but Prakash does not want to take a risk. The action scenes in the film aren't as heavy-duty as other action films. The makers don't want her to go through the trouble." Instead, the director has already asked the actress to maintain a particular body type for the film. "Priyanka is training hard and is working out to be in perfect shape for the film. As a tough cop, she has to be a little muscular and athletic."

Of late, even Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh opted for body-doubles to shoot for their parts in their films, following injuries on the sets.
