Deepika Padukone opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the Sanjay Dutt biopic?

Last week, Deepika threw a grand party to celebrate the success of her last film - Piku co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan. A lot of industrywallahs like boyfriend Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan,Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bhardwaj and Rajkumar Hirani amongst many others were present.

According to a source present at the party, the PK filmmaker had a long chat with the Piku actress. The source was quoted saying " Raju has been praising Deepika's performance in Piky for sometime now. Even at the party, he heaped praises on her, and, in fact, they had an animated conversation for over half an hour."

The filmmaker has apparently spoken to Deepika about his next film, which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt's life. The source while talking about Raju's next further added, " While Ranbir was confirmed from the start, Raju has been looking for the female lead opposite him. Although everyone is tight-lipped about the biopic, he is believed to be working on the film away from the prying eyes.
