I feel like this show is going very similarly to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. For all your youngins you may not remember this. But In Kyunki Tulsi gave "Mukti" to her saas to save her from the pain she was suffering . And everyone kicked her out of the house. The only difference in this case is Naitik is standing by Akshara.

Haven't seen that show, but whatever they are showing is too melo dramatic for yeh rishta..
Even Gayatris death was less dramatic than this
