Just saw WUS yesterday. Its quite similar to YJHD. Ranbir plays a care-free character, female lead is responsible. He has 2 frnds. He fought with the male frnd in both the movies and was frndly to the female frnd. But in WUS konkona tried to change ranbir or she did. In YJHD Biru changed DPu from behenG to Stylish. Iktara reminded me of kabira, but Iktara is far better both the versions. He had issue with his dad. WUS was simple yet beautiful. And Konkona>DP WUS Ranbir>YJHD Biru Ayan MukherG>Ayan M.K Script>Scriaaapt

There is literally no comparison between WUS & YJHD IMO..Aisha & Sid were love..Gorgeous gorgeous film..YJHD was a cliched romcom at best..I din even get how & why Kabir fell for Naina in the second half ( a few of the deleted scenes from the film were really good..if they hadn't been edited out, the second half wouldn't have looked this abrupt..Ayaan should have edited out that intro song with MD & added these scenes instead IMO 😆)..Anyways, coming to the point, YJHD was a full blown Dharma romcom with abundant cliches & great songs..WUS on the other hand is next only to Dil Chahta Hai ( when we compare movies belonging to this ' coming of age' genre)..I wish we see this Ayaan in his forthcoming movies & not the KJofied version we saw in YJHD 😆
P.S. Iktaara is Trivedi's best till date ⭐️
