First of its kind on Indian television, Balaji Telefilms has come with the innovative idea to keep the audience glued to their show, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Ekta Kapoor has decided to have an audience poll to take the story forward and allow the audience to decide if the protagonist, Parvati (played by Sakshi Tanwar) should go to the court or not after her grand daughter has been raped by her husband. The polling lines will be on till Wednesday night depending on which, Thursday's episode will be shot. Confirms Ekta, "Yes, I thought over this idea as I wanted the audience to participate in the soap. I had seen this kind of a poll in a show abroad and thought of incorporating the same in my show as it is an important decision. It would be interesting to see the audience make the decision if Parvati has to go to court or solve the issue within her house." Depending on this poll, Ekta will decide if she intends to conduct such polls in the future too. She says, "I am waiting for the result of this poll and then I will decide if we want to do more polls or not. I am waiting to see the reaction of the audience." Ekta further adds, "We will have options by SMS polling and the audience can also post their votes on the websites. The voting time will end at 12 noon on Wednesday following which, we will shoot Thursday's episode. I know it's a very close deadline to meet, and we have already made two different scripts for the Thursday episode. is ekta serious, a poll on a subject like rape?!

I think, it's not a fix, but it's obvious that the audience will want to see Pranay punished. I want Pranay punished, and sent to jail, but I hope the poll turns out Parvati No, just to see how Ekta deals with dissappointing the audience, BUT as this is KGGK, and Parvati, I don't want Parvati to ghir in her own Nazar, if it was Tulsi I'd vote Tulsi No 😆

Well at least even for once, Ekta is willing to listen to the audience, coz this is the same audience who watch her soaps and can make and break them.
