Before I go on to my topic I just wanted to say that Friday's episode was absolutely amazing. I love to watch an episode that is complete and has the whole cast included in the episode and the episode not only had that but each scene that was shown gave u an insight into the history of the characters and their relationships which was shown effortlessly and I assure u after watching 1 show where they showed only 1 character for months I truly appreciate a show which uses all its actors. So awesome job to the writers, editors, producers and the directors excellent flow to the episode and please keep it up. And then the torture scene I do not know but it must have been freezing when the actor where doing the scene because at 1 part when Kirtida was speaking her tongue was actually blue and so was Gaurav's lips. So kudos to the actors for working in such extreme conditions if it is that and doing such an excellent job.
Now to my title Sher my toothless alcoholic lion this marriage has surely destroyed u and brought out the worst in you. For a character who has lived his life according to his own rules being with shraddha must be torturing his soul if he has one that is, this marriage is truly emasculating him because he is not the one in control. This is not how he wanted his married life to be and whatever insecurities that he has in the past its coming out full circle in this marriage especially with Virat's entry and him being the perfect one' by societies standards.
Now firstly what he did was wrong I am in no way justifying his action wrong is wrong but I am not upset with what was show this is part of his character, it's part of his makeup it would be extremely weird if we did not see this side of him considering who his mother is. And really I am so happy that the candy floss has finally been stripped out and the monster is appearing guys he is the dons son he is an unemployed goon he is not SRK to be romancing Shraddha all the time. What did u expect the guy to be a hero? He enjoys his mommy's life style he aint no hero( but he is hot) and if he was a hero he would be doing something worthwhile just saying.
But back to the scene there was such a sickness to it and what he did, how he did it, the way he looked at Shraddha and the way he spoke to her. He was a mean, uncouth spoilt goon, his arrogance in his power and in himself, his egotistical nature was clearly shown and this nature of his will cost him dearly. He showed his power and ego on 3 people who could not defend themselves, who could not stand up to him and he truly proved he is his mother child.
If he is not able to control that side of him I do think this character could be more vicious and dangerous than his mother and this scene showed that to me. Bhavri is so direct she only manipulates him but he likes playing games and messing with people minds and this scene showed it Bhavri would go straight for your nuts he is a different type of psycho. He is a mixture of himself, his mother and worse the link that brings these 2 very dangerous and unsteady natures together is the worse link alcohol. Watching that scene and how he had his moments of saneness whilst he was drunk and watching Shraddha cry it was like I was watching the ultimate mummy's boy making his mom proud he was so evil, so dead, no emotion nothing.
However even though what he did was in character and I have no problem with that what i did have a problem with was how he showed Sumer his place and worse misunderstood him. Implying how they are not blood related was just very wrong of him and worse getting Vikas to hit him was pathetic I would have preferred it if he had slapped Sumer again. Neither Sumer, Gajri nor shraddha are at fault this is all Sher's fault he should have taken her to see her family. It is gona be interesting to see how Sher and Sumer are in their next scene when he is sober. but this marriage is truly just pushing him more towards his mother and her life style and her people. him and sumer truly had a cute bond and now the distrust he has for shraddha is gona be in his r/ship with him as well.
The reason for my title because it is obvious that Sher is a very dangerous, reckless, dangerous Lion on the surface but he actually is not.
1. He was sulking from the minute he saw his grandmother and Virat instead of just running of like his mommy did.
2. He took out his anger on the 3 poor weaklings who could not defend themselves.
3. He needed alcohol to plan revenge on the weaklings.
4. And he needed alcohol to slap virat.
