FINALLY! Here is the second part and I am EXTREAMLY sorry for the late update.
*Dedicated to all the lovely people who wanted me to continue. Part ~ 2 Cabir insisted Navya that as they were 'working' together now they should get to know each other better, she still didn't look too happy about it but agreed anyway. Now, after leaving her
thali of
prashad and taking her bag from her hostel they were driving again, this time towards their college.
Navya kept mum and looked kind of uncomfortable and so did Cabir but he wanted to talk but didn't know how to start the conversation. He looked at her, she as usual, was in her simple clothing with her two braids on both sides of her shoulders, the bag on her lap and was fidgeting with her dupatta as she did when she was uncomfortable or nervous.
Cabir smiled. All of these things made her look like a little school girl, so innocent.
'How didn't I notice this innocence of her before? Oh god I am so blind!' He thought to himself and that thought was echoed by Navya.
"Cabir tum andhe ho?!" She almost shreiked.
This made Cabir's heart stop for a while thinking that she can read his mind.
"Tu... tum he kaise pata?" He asked in disbelief.
"Tumhe red light nahi dikh raha? Gari rokooo!"
Cabir looked forward and saw the red light and quickly stepped his foot on the brake and instantly his arm shot up in front of Navya to protect her.
The sudden halt caused both of them to jerk forward and then slam their back on their seat. After Navya realized that she is alive and still breathing, she noticed the arm infront of her like a barricade.
"Yeh kaya hain?" She asked Cabir.
"Who... achanakse break kiya na to tumhe kahi chot na lag jaye issiliye." He explained suddenly feeling hot and didn't realize his cheeks were slightly turning pink.
"Humne seat belt pehni hain." Navya said giving Cabir a look as if he has gone mad.
"Who hain..." Cabir removed his hand awkwardly, feeling like an idiot. He scolded himself for getting distracted and kept his eyes strictly on the road for the rest of the journey.
**************** The S.P.A.C.E academy's parking lot was getting full and cafe, corridors and classrooms were getting filled. But only the rooftop was deserted except for two people and they were Dhruv and Nandini, the new hot shot couple of S.P.A.C.E, though they didn't like the title a bit.
Both of them were very private person and not the type to show off, but they were getting all the attention due to the fact that both of them belonged to two different bands who had a rivalry going on between them, but were now on friendly terms because of these two, but by the looks of it people had a hard time believing it and stared at them like aliens. So to spend some quality time together, away from everyone's stare they were on their favourite place, the terrace.
"Nandini stop worrying. I am sure she is fine. You talked with her right?"
"Yeah, but that was two days ago. And if she doesn't come today I am going to her hostel." Nandini said stubornly.
"Baccha please relax. Navya ne kaha na usse bass kuch time chahiye. She will come around." Dhruv stroked Nandini's cheek soothingly.
"I hope so." She replied leaning onto his touch.
"Yes she will. Now you come here." Dhruv pulled her into a hug and pressed his lips on top of her head.
Nandini's head was resting on her love's chest. The calming rhythm if his heart beat always made all her worries go away.
They just stood there breathing in each others' loving smell. Forgetting that any other people existed in this world. But soon they came out of that trace as both of their phones went off indicating they each got a message.
They reluctantly stepped away from each other and checked their phones. They got the same message from Alya.
'We are at the steps. Navya is here.' Dhruv and Nandini quickly went down and soon joined Alya, Manik and Mukti at the entrance steps of their collage.
Nandini looked at the parking lot and saw a red jeep being parked and seconds later came out of the passenger seat was her best friend, Navya.
She was almost relieved to she her after two days but, then noticed the guy who jumped from the driver's seat, Cabir. And they just stood there as both of them made their ways towards their little group.

Cabir saw his friends and Nandini at the steps where they sometimes hang out. So he and Navya made their ways towards them.
But he also noticed that apart from his friends, other students who were around were eyeing them, some with curiosity, disbelief and utter shock. First, he was confused, then he realized that those looks were because he came with Navya, his Madhubala. I mean the the girl he teased calling Madhubala.
When they were close to their group Nandini came forward and hugged Navya but Cabir saw Nandini giving him sharp looks and he thought it was justified. He wasn't exactly saint and seeing her best friend with him just made her go all protective of her friend so he didn't mind.
Cabir looked at his friends and saw Alya and Mukti exchange a look between themselves and then looked back at him but, he avoided their gaze and there was Manik smirking at him and also Dhruv giving him a meaningful look. For some reason this made him nervous.
By this time Nandini has gone to complete KBC mode (except the prize money) raining Navya with questions which made her smile seeing her worried friend.
"Hum bilkul thik hu Nandu. Baas kuch waqath chaiye tha aur kuch nahi."
"Accha who thik hain. Lekin..." Nandini lowered her voice "lekin tu Cabir k sath? Ussne phir se khuch kiya ha kaya?"
"Nahi. Esa kuch nahi hai. Tu khamakhaan pareshan ho rahi hai." Navya assured her. Now she turned to look at the others, they were smiling at her as they were now on friendly terms.
"Tum thik ho?" Alya asked.
"Hain, hum thik hain." Navya replied.
"You made us all worried even bhai was tensed."
By hearing this her eyes lit up and Nandini elbowed her teasingly, but what she didn't know was that this made Cabir's heart clenched, but he ignored it said "C'mon guys we didn't practice properly for a while now, we should get started." And without giving any backward glance he entered the entrance door and others soon followed him.

They day went by practicing. Everyone played well, but Cabir was giving extra effort for some unknown reason to others. Even when they took breaks and went to the cafeteria to eat something and meet with NH3, Cabir didn't go. Either he listened to music on high volume or practiced on his own.
He would never admit it to anyone but sub consciously he knew he was doing this to avoid Navya, whether face to face or even in his thoughts. Cabir was freaked out because of the way his heart ached at seeing Navya's happy face when Harshad's name was taken. His excuse was if he avoided her for a certain time these feelings will go away and he will back to being the carefree Cabir that everyone knew.
But what he didn't know was his fate has something else planned for him.
