Great topic! I totally agree with everything written. So many people, both men and women, have taken advantage of the concept of feminism so that it's made a mockery of today.
Men need to understand that feminism isn't anti-men, and women need to understand that feminism is about equality, so they shouldn't expect any unfair advantages.
I witnessed a very ironic situation the other day. A man was holding the door of his car for his girlfriend when they were going out on a date, and the girlfriend got very offended because she felt the man was considering her "too weak" to get in and out of a car by herself. She labeled him a chauvinist, but later when they were having dinner at a restaurant, she expected him to pay the bill for them both.
So I'd like to ask the girls out there not to give men a confusing message. If you don't like men holding the door for you, then don't expect him to pay the bill. A bill should be split, or you guys can take turns paying it every time you go out, but why is it always the man's duty to pay the bill at a restaurant? If you're so offended by a man holding the door for you, then why aren't you offended by this?
I've also witnessed so-called feminist girls getting offended when men don't give them their seat in crowded buses. I feel only pregnant women and old people should be offered seats. Otherwise, women can stand just as well as men.
There are so many mixed signals out there that it makes feminism confusing for so many people.
