A woman is found dead in a bhatti at a place not far from Mumbai, the workers working near the bhatti find her.
Cut to Special Squad Office, Deepika enters her cabin to find Aryan, who has not gone home, yet again. She stands and prays in front of her small idol of God, placed on her shelf. She says, Tum phir se ghar nahi gaye, Aryan gets up from his desk, walks over to her. He stands for long near her, in front looking at her, smiles, sidesteps her and joins his hands and prays silently. Dipika smiles secretly at this. Then he leaves saying Good Morning, and leaves the door open inspite of Deepika telling him to close it.
A new case arrives, the woman found dead in the bhatti, She turns out to be a social worker working for an NGO, Safina Akhtar. They check around and Boxer finds a purse in a room. A visting card reads, Asha Kiran, NGO. Shotgun tells Aryan that the woman has been dead for about 24 hours or so and has died due to repeated stabbing with a pointed kind of instrument.
The workers inform Aryan that Safina often came to check their bhatti accounts for them and solved their problems. But informed them usually, before coming to the place. However, she had not informed them that she was coming that day. Aryan orders Boxer to take the foot prints, there may be many, but it still is a chance. The body is shifted to the Special Squad Office.
Neha finds a note in Safina's purse which says, 'Meet Manish, Sundayat 10.30 am.
Aryan and Boxer go to the NGO and meet Safina's colleagues, who are shocked on Safina's death. The NGO primarily worked with people affected with HIV/AIDS. They inform them that Manish had come to them for consultancy. He had recently known to have HIV and came to ask about his job implications. They tell that Manish had got fired from his job a few days ago and in frustration vented his anger on Safina. It turns out that Manish got fired for a flimsy reason, but Manish was sure that they had come to know about his truth and the only people who knew about this were the people from the NGO.
Aryan, Ajay and Boxer go to meet Manish who is sitting with his lawyer, Samir Desai. Safina had recommended him to Manish, since if his bosses found out his truth, he could sort out the issue legally. manish tells them that he had last met Safina on the day they had a tiff, the saturday. Also he doesn't has an alibi for the previous day, Sunday. They tell him that he has to come with them for interrogation to the SS Office. Aryan assures Manish that his medical condition never crosses with Special Squad investigation. His secrets are inaccessible. Aryan asks Ajay to get one of Manish's shoes for checking.
Manish talks to Dipika about the state he was in when he found out that he was HIV+. Dipika assures that they will do him justice. One set of the footprints found around the crime scene where Safina was murdered turn out to be those of Manish. On matching the shoe size, they match, both are Shoe Size No.8. Aryan confronts this to Manish.
Manish is tensed and tells that the previous day he ahd got a call from someone saying Safina's life was in danger, at the bhatti. So he had gone there. He had waited for long, but finding no one had returned back. Aryan asks him patiently why hadn't he informed the police. For which Manish says that it never striked him.
Deepika conducts an autopsy and informs Aryan that Safina was murderd with a Swiss knife or a pen knife which wouldbe just 3 inches or so lnog. She suggests Aryan to go check out Manish's house for the murder weapon. They find a Swiss knife in Manish's house. On carrying out the appropriate tests, it is found that the Swiss knife is also covered in blood.
Aryan is angry with this turn out and again confronts Manish again, who speaks the truth. He says that on received the call he went on his own to save Safina, a gesture of sorry for having spoken rudely to her that day. Incidentally he had found his knife lying there and had picked it up thinking that he might have dropped it some time before. Aryan says that his explanation has plenty of loopholes in it. He would have to arrest him.
Deepika who is listening to their conversation, feels that they should arrest Manish and close the case. Aryan, thinks otherwise, he tells Deepika to five him one day to prove Manish innocent as his gut feel (as always) is telling him that something does not fit in. Dipika actually pleads him to not to start with it all over again. She tells that how do we justify thie, rules are more important. Aryan says not more than a human. Aryan says that I know that you too believe Manish is innocent, because you didn't order me to close the case, which you do usually.
In a haste to make her understand Aryan catches Dipika's shoulders and she blushes☺️. Aryan realising this, removes his hands, smiles himself cutely too 😳 . Dipika then her head hung due to shyness nods her agreement. Aryan is happy and Dipika too.
Aryan comes over to Manish and literally pleads that they have just one more day. So please tell if he suspects anyone. Manish tells no. Very dejected he says that he had wanted to live a peacefull life. But now knowing he has HIV+, he wanted to do all he can for the people who are like him. He says he has enough money from his savings and his parents welath for this purpose. But now this would remain a dream. Aryan asks him does anyone else know about his wealth information. He says that not many. Safina, her NGO people and that lawyer Sameer.
Aryan is in the office at night. He calls up Dipika to clarify a doubt. He aks her that if a person comes to know that a confidential information is leaked, what would she do? Dipika says try to find out whether the leak was in her office. So Aryan suggests that there is another person in the picture who knew about Manish and had leaked the information. On asking for motive, Aryan says maybe money or hatred amongst people having HIV.. anything. Dipika suggests him to go to sleep.
Aryan not satisfied, goes to check Safina's body again. Finds some brown color substance on her finger nails. He calls up Shotgun to come over to the office, pronto. When Shotgun comes, he coolly wishes him Good Morning 😉 😆 and asks to investigate the brown substance.
Shotgun informs Aryan that the mud-like substance which was found under Safina's nails is actually suede, of which jackets, shoes, etc are made.
Aryan is stuck and Ajay starts from the beginning, gathering th facts they have. Neha suggests checking Safina's phone records. All are clarified, except the talk to Sameer, which was the last call. When Neha phoned Sameer to ask if he had talked to Safina on saturday or sunday, he point blankly refuses. Suspicions turn against Sameer.
They realise that Samir Desai was the one who could have told Manish's boss about this. But the team is stuck that how to prove it. Dipika, surprisingly 😲 😉 suggest that Neha will help you out in this. All are surprised. She says that the course of action is wrong, but considering the circumstances she agrees to bend the finger 😉 Ab Aryan ka kya, he is very happy. Boxer before going asks her "You do mean it??????". Dipika smiles off. 😆
Neha goes to meet Sameer as Neena Jha, an assistant from a firm which had sacked an employee who was known to have HIV. He asks for the person who suggested him to Neha's boss. She is stuck. When Aryan comes to the rescue. The are listening to the conversation. Aryan immediately calls up Dipika, to ask Manish his boss's name. Manish says, which Dipika passes it to Aryan and he in turn passes it to Neha. Hearing the name Daniel Thomas, Sameer is satisfied. He tells her that he hates people with HIV. His conversation are recorded, but no suede coat is found in the office. Sammer denies having one.
Dipika calls to ask about the position and panicks on knowing that no suede coat was found. Just then Aryan's eyes fall on a pair of suede shoes, which has scratch marks in them. Aryan calls up Dipika to assure her that they have solid proof.
Aryan outlines the way Safina was murdered. She had called Sameer wbout Manish's case adn later suspected him of the leak. So he had decided to kill her. Aryan encourages Manish to take Safina's incomplete work with the NGO.
Deepika too encourages him. 😊
Aryan says thanks to Dipika for accepting to bend the rules. Dipika catching her ears says that this is final. She had bent the ruled seeing Aryan's passion and dedication. But will never do it again. Aryan cheekily says let's see 😉 and leaves. Dipika is surprised at his reaction.
She looks back to find Neha giving her an "I told you" so look. Dipika smiles, blushingly and leaves 😳 . Neha is not able to control her smile seeing the jodi. 😃
