whatisthis I do appreciate your feelings. Good that you took it sportingly and felt proud of your friend. But here it is different. These people didn't know each other before. The winner is going to get fame and money which they have never dreamt of. Here there is a big difference between the winner and the runner up. That's why I say what ever they do, that is clapping or cheering for each other, it's just fake.

to some extent, yeah there's going to be competition but if they want to do well in Indian Idol, they need to get along with each other (constant bickering or not getting along will benefit their singing)...so I think that the contestants do care for one another but of course, each one wants to win.

Let it be that way..why to take NEGATIVE POINTS from something shown positive on TV. Try to learn positive. Even if whatever is in their mind, I liked their harmony. I hope we can also be that way in reality at least.

I know ...friendship is at different place...and competing for contest is different . While competing ...we should put our 100% hard work and do the show..rest will fall in right place.

In my class my topper has reached at such level where people are appriciating him for his work now..and I was second topper...but I always feel proud of him since he was in my class and he was my friend. But when exams used to come , I was trying that I would top the class. I was working hard enough that I could top the class. That is the attitude we should keep. But I never felt anything because I did not top the class. Coming second is not bad..and sometimes ..coming on TOP and should not do justifiable for people or disappointing them is also not good.
But I am proud of my friend what he is doing now.

Interesting. I also used to come second in class, and the girl who would get first position was someone I always admired. Now I am in the States doing extremely well in academics, but I still admire her very very much. Nice that we have this in common.😊

Is this only an observation I have seen or have others noticed as well - that Ankita is extremely rude and has an attitude problem. First of all, according to what is shown on tv, no one gets along with her. Moreover, whenever (most of the time) anyone is eliminated she tends to get this small (evil) grin across her face. Like she is happy that the person is out and she is safe. No offence, but she seriously needs to be eliminated. What the hell are people looking at. She can't sing songs well, other than item numbers and even her performances lately are mediocre. Every time an actor comes to the show, her main goal or aim becomes to make them dance, instead of paying attention to her singing, because of her and others like Prashant and Chang, extremely talented singers like Parleen, Puja and Deepali have been eliminated from the show.

Moreover, in terms of the show "Indian Idol" it really needs to be defined properly. What are they looking for a singer, performer... The show is so undefined. In this terms SRGMP is much better, since it tends to lean more towards the contestant's singing and not their performances
