Politicians - Do your job!!

I see lot of politicians gettign involved in entertainment business being a chief guest or something. No problems if they see it as personal requirement and lead a normal life by attending entertaining shows, but being the chief guest or being star atrraction is so uncool. they can devote that time working on stratergies to improve conutries health.

Should politician leaders be part glamorus occasions enjoying rather then working for nation?

BTW - have you seen Lalu on SRGM with full cabinet, Amar singh in all awards function?

PS - Politicians are common man, can enjoy all the fun but why want to be ceter of attraction, cann't they tell organisers to ignore his/her presence and enjoy time with family.
