"Okay! i am sorry" saying this, he saw jodha shaking her head. "i love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you are looking at me like i am nuts" he lifted up the curtain, and slightly moved to her side, "i hate you" she said looking into his eyes, it's so difficult for her to get angry on him.."and what's the reason behind this?" he asked..she punched lightly on his chest.. "i hate the way you talked to me, i hate it when you stare me, i hate those slippers of yours..they are damn slippery..i hate the way you read my mind, i hate that you are always right, i hate it when you lie, i hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry, i hate it when you are not around, and the fact that you didn't call but mostly i hate the way i don't hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all." saying this, she hugged him but then pushed him.. "now...what happened?" he asked but she turned to her side and said "i am angry".

Jodha felt his lips on her shoulder, "It won't work!" she whispered to him..pushing him a little. "I apologised!" he exclaimed pulling her to him by her waist. "But I haven't accepted your apology" Jalal tore the curtain irritatedly as it was making it difficult for him to manofy his wife. "How dare you!" She frowned as he threw the cloth on the floor. "I guess I have to apologize, don't I?" He asked, placing the loose strand behind her ears. "I guess...you do!" Her voice was acid, she was still mad enough to airmail him to the moon. "I was waiting for you and guess what..I made a fool of myself thinking that you will be back soon..but you are such a lier. You said that you will be back by 8..but you made me wait for like 2 hours..and now, you are like being so cool. Now, I just can't be angry on you..despite the things you have done! I mean my heart is like cheating on me by favouring you..but guess what my mind is on my side and I am not going to forgive you..Okay?" She pushed him lightly but caught him staring at her..why he is looking at her like that!
"No! you will not forgive him easily" Her brain chided to her heart. "Just stop this" She asked, trying to sound annoyed but as accepted, she failed. "You sound adorable when you are mad, and your accent adds more to it" This statement of his caused her to blush five shades of red, she hitted him lightly on his chest, confused what else she could do. "My ever blushing wife" She heard him say that which was followed by a throaty chuckle. "Jalal!" she exclaimed, not knowing how to react. "So, I earned your forgiveness?" he asked, reminding her that she was mad at him. She looked him into the eyes for a second or so and then continued - "I don't know if I could ever be mad or angry on you, sometimes you are too cute!" She giggled looking at his expression when she referred him as 'cute'. "But that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want or would make me wait like this, I won't tolerate it...and am warning you" She said this, pointing a finger towards him. "And what if I did this again?" He asked her playfully, she looked at him and pushed his hand away which was rested on her waist. "Then I will kill you" She moved over him, while his arms snaked around her waist. "Can I kiss you before you kill me?" He hovered over her lips for a moment and she was the one who leaned in to kiss him. She was getting very good at kissing, he thought. Her kiss was so soft and tender. Her hands went up around his neck and up into his hair. Her touch was arousing and it drove him insane, he pulled his lips away for a moment to catch his breath. She was slightly out of breath also and she hugged him as tight as she could, burying her head against his neck. "I don't want to go office tomorrow...my supervisor is way too strict, I am too tired" She muttered against his skin.
"Hmm...I guess we have to make a couple of phone calls, then" He started to press his fingers against her back, as if he was punching in random numbers on a phone.
"Beep, beep, beep, beep! Uh hello? Yeah, hi! Is this the 'strict supervisor'? Just to let you know that Jodha, yes! the 'French accent' one, won't be making it into office tomorrow. Yeah! she is suffering from some weird disease. It's called 'Love' I guess! Apparently it started a few months back and it's growing tremendously by each passing day. Yup! that's it. Great, no problem! Okay, bye!" He looked at Jodha who was giggling the entire time, her laughter filling the entire room.
"Okay, so looks like you are off the hook! Next one" He said, dialling his fingers against her back again. "No...it's all done, I guess!" She giggled softly. "Where are you going?" He asked as she climbed down the bed. "To change" She laughed and then moved to the wash-room.
After a few minutes, the wash-room door hung open. "Hey! That's mine." He pointed towards his hoodie which she was wearing. His hoodie was looking much better on her, only an inch of her shorts were seen because of his hoodie, as it was quite long for her. "I love that your clothes smell like you and...your cologne" She heard him laugh when she said the last part.
"If again you made me mad like this then I am promising you that I will go to my brother's place." she told him playfully, sitting beside him on the bed. "Hey! dare you go to your brother's place, I think a hotel is much better, your brother is way too rude. So, I guess a hotel will be a great place where I can pamper my wife and ask for her forgiveness...What say?" he teased her, pulling her onto his lap. "What's wrong with my brother's place?" She asked him, playing with the button on his tee. "There's nothing wrong but your brother is like 'Princess don't go with him','Princess, stay here', 'Princess he is mad!' he is like over protective regarding you" He imitated her brother's accent. "He loves me" Jodha laughed looking at him. "So, do I!" He smiled when he saw the pink in her cheeks and the twinkle in her eyes as red, white, and blue confetti and balloons rained down upon them from above. Slowly , haltingly, he bent to kiss her. She raised an arm and brought it to his neck and pulled him closer. Her lips were cool and dry and as he moved his mouth across them they drew together and slowly parted. Her breath came soft and noiseless against his skin. His hands reach out to her face, fingertips caressing her, their eyes dreamy with that first look of love. But to their misery -- there was a knock at the door.
"Please tell me it's not rishika!" she whispered, looking up at him. "Let's see" Jalal sighed, walking towards the door..opening it. "What you want?" Jalal growled looking at veer.
"Hey, who are you?" Veer pushed jalal aside and pointed towards jodha who was wearing jalal's hoodie. "I am a thief" Jodha answered, giggling. "Why you are here...little thief?" Veer asked her as he settled himself on the couch, near the bed. "I am here to steal his heart" Jodha pointed towards jalal while saying this. "Why you came here?" Jalal asked, irritated by his presence. "Chocolates..for you!" Veer passed them to her. "Gosh! that's so sweet of you..I love them" She squealed in happiness, it's been a long time..she missed them."Now you can leave?" Jalal asked, annoyed. "By the way..tomorrow's a really busy day for us" Veer said this to jalal. "I know!" He said, irritated. "But the press-conference will be in the office itself." Jodha got excited listening this, while jalal was tapping his foot in annoyance."Wow! In the office where we all work?" Jodha asked. "Yea..it was Natasha's idea to arrange this interview. It will be our biggest press-conference!" Veer said dramatically..while jodha got a little frustrated listening Natasha's name but thought not to spoil her mood. "That means I can see you all?" She asked curiously. "I think it depends on your supervisor..she will decide who will participate in the interview" Jodha frowned listening this..but before she could react Rishika was there in her room. "Hey bro..What's up!" Jalal frowned when she settled beside Jodha. "What you are doing here?" Jalal asked his sister who was busy telling something to his wife. "She came here to bore us" Veer muttered looking at jalal. "Shut up..you fat, you ugly, You Fugly!" Rishika snapped back.
"But seriously why you both are here?" Jalal growled in irritation. But there was no one who was listening to him...rishika was busy chatting with Jodha, while veer was irritating them by interrupting in between. Great! His wife was also enjoying their company.
"You know bhai! I was thinking about some trip..You know like just our family...I mean, you just got married..so you can't go alone with jodha but there's nothing wrong in a family trip..right?" Before jalal could react to this statement, Jodha squealed in between - "that will be great!".
"Yea! Then we can just go to Goa, my farm-house. It's been long...I will meet my mom there." Veer suggested and in no time the trip was finalised. "Okay so..I am going to inform Natasha!" And with this..rishika and veer finally left the room.
"Will she join us in the 'family' trip?" Annoyed by the thought of Natasha joining the trip, Jodha asked her doubt to jalal. "I don't know" Sensing frustration in his voice, she decided to ask him - "you al-right?".
Normally she wouldn't have cared, as she was exhausted herself, but it was so unlike him where she was concerned. "jalal?" She asked again, now standing in-front of him with both of her hands on his shoulders. Looking up at him, he sighed - "You really want to go there..I mean knowing that someone is there who doesn't want to see you happy?"
Smiling at him, she nodded her head "You will be there with me" She whispered before kissing him deeply, she wanted to take away the frown underneath his smile and smooth the irritated creases on his forehead. Grabbing his face she kissed him with everything she had. Feeling him lean back she smiled through their kiss and straddled him. Needing some air she stopped the kiss and looked tenderly at his eyes. "You are sleepy" Laughing softly as she yawned for the second time. He lifted her in his arms and carried her towards the bed, placing gently on the bed and arranged the pillows, as if she were a kid.
Joining her, he too laid beside her. She tossed her head on the pillow, looking at him. "I am really excited for the trip..I love them..you know last year..." She continued telling him some random story of her college trip and all the while he was looking at her. He found her most attractive not when she was all dressed up, but when she wasn't. When she was lying on their bed, her hair all a big mess, laughing about something that had happened a year ago. When she wasn't trying to impress anyone, and taken down that wall she built for most people. That's when he couldn't take his eyes off of her."You are not even listening to me" She pouted, deviating her eyes from him. "I was!" he exclaimed...looking at her. "I am not just your fan...I am your wife...I know you weren't" She chuckled at him."You are amazing" She heard him say that. Shy! She felt agonisingly shy suddenly. He cupped her face, felt the burn in her cheeks, brushed his thumbs across them gently and felt her small tremor as he tilted her head back enough to receive his next kiss. "Jalal Khan is a romantic...who knew?" she teased..snuggling into him. "Now you do...that's all that matters." Switching off the lamp.he whispered to her. "Yea...good night!" She murmured against his skin..before drifting off to sleep.

Jodha woke up nearly at 2 in the morning as she was incredibly thirsty. With drowsy eyes, she moved her hand over the side table but there was no bottle present. Jodha sat up and wiped the sleep from her eyes...she looked for jalal but to her surprise, he wasn't there.
She switched on the light. Putting on her slippers, she made her way to the kitchen for some water, thinking that jalal was in the wash-room. "What the hell!" Jodha saw jalal and Natasha near the dining table from the stairs. Grabbing the handrail..she stepped one step down the stairs. And there was Rishika and Veer arguing about some thing. Nothing New!
Natasha was sitting on the dining table and jalal was standing opposite to her with support of a pillar. She could heard him talking..she stepped towards them..careful not to make any noise. "Why you missed your dinner?" It was Natasha who asked that, she passed the plate to him. "Oh shit!" Jodha cursed herself..she didn't need to know anything else. It was her mistake. Walking back to their room, she felt so crest-fallen. She pulled her hair roughly back in a ponytail, and used a rubber band, which broke, stinging her hand. "Ouch! Can't even put a rubber band on right?" How could she explain how she felt? She was upset, sure, but somehow, between this whole situation..she forgot about him. She felt that she was selfish, only thinking about herself. It wasn't a small thing to her. Why did she feel so alone, and at a loss, and why she had not realized how utterly dear he was to her. He always was there to take care of her but she was not.
"Dare you call me and disturb my sleep in future...just because you are hungry..I won't make it for you again!" She heard Natasha saying this as they were near their room...Jalal laughed thanking her and headed his way to his room. Jodha quickly went to the bed, inside the blankets.
He smiled looking at her, sound asleep state. May be not but that's what he saw. His happiness all stored in that girl, shifting under the blanket and feeling the heat of the person who was next to him. That's what his happiness was. Turning his head and removing the blanket off of her face. And there it was, the love of his life in her most peaceful, innocent and vulnerable state. She breathes as though the weight of the world lays on anyone's shoulder but her own. A small smile spread across his lips, kissing her forehead in the most gentle manner so as not to wake her. He turns back around and an involuntarily grin forms on his own face. He felt an arm wrap around his arm, and in that moment, he knew it wouldn't get any better than that.
Jodha smiled, cuddling more to him. It was really surprising for her that how can this man make her feel so better not even knowing the problem. She pushed all the thoughts away and at that time the only thing mattered was him, his warmth.

"Oww..just shut up!" Jodha muttered at the buzzing alarm clock on her night-stand before slamming her palm down on the snooze button.
Her hand flopped back on the bed, as she rolled over onto her stomach and buried her head in her pillow. But after a second, she opened her eyes. Remembering that she wants to be on time, she glanced at the clock, it was 7. That means she wasn't late..she looked at her right..jalal was not there..maybe gym! "How he manages to wake up so early! Now, I have to change the alarm settings to 6 in the morning" Groaning at her thought, she rolled out of bed, her hair a mess of tangles that covered her face, making her look like a relative of the fictional character, 'Cousin Itt'. Blind to her surroundings, she deftly made her way to the bath-room, slamming the door in the process. She emerged twenty minutes later wrapped in a towel, teeth-brushed, and hair in a towel turban and retreated back to the room to get dressed. Making her way towards her wardrobe, she looked at the clock and realized that it was almost 7:30 and Jalal was not here to wake her up.
Finally satisfied by the blue and white formal pencil dress, she paired it with a pair of punk heels. Putting on a little make-up, she was done. Her hairs were not pulled up in a bun as they were still wet. She decided to wear her hair open and natural. "Okay, So I am done" Jodha muttered while packing up her hand-bag with some necessary items - documents, identity card, her gloss...and some other things.
She decided to go down as there was no sign of jalal. She was ready an hour before..this thought was enough to make her smile over and over again. "Good Morning Ma...Papa!" Greeting the old couple, she sat with them. "You are ready...I am impressed!" She smiled at the praise. "You are going somewhere?" Looking at the packed suit-cases near the table, this question just popped inside her mind. "Yes, actually jalal's aunt is not well, so we are going there for a few days" Hamida told her all the details as they made their way to the dining room. "And don't worry about your trip, you people can still go" Laughing softly at the assurance of her mother-in-law, she nodded in agreement.
---Dining Room---
"I was thinking to call my brother and Piya to join us for the trip." Jodha told everyone who were present at the table. As it was sure that Natasha will join them in their 'family' trip, Jodha couldn't stop herself to call her family too.
"Of-course dear, you can call anyone you want" Jodha looked really excited hearing this from her in-laws. "Look at his face" Hearing veer's laugh, she turned right to watch her husband's expression, and by the look on his face anyone could tell that he was surely unpleasant by the news. "Why you always make this ugly face when I talk about my brother?" Obviously irritated by his expressions, Jodha turned her head. "It is nothing like that..but your brother is soo..." He stopped midway as she turned her head, he watched the emotions cross her face. Disappointed, shocked, irritation, and - it stayed at irritation. "...is so great" He looked at her face again as soon as he completed his sentence and saw a twinkle in her eyes. He'd never seen her look happier than she did at this moment. It startled him to realize he would do almost anything to keep her that way, including that he would praise her brother knowing the fact that he could never like him.
"That means I can invite anyone?" Her eyes were full of hopes, he nodded and 'that special' smile curled her lips.
"I think we should leave now" Looking at the old couple, she hugged them and wished them for a safe journey. "Take care!" She smiled at the concern of her in-laws. Waving at the old-couple, the rest of the members went back to their seats.
---Office, Hallway---
Passing a smile to the receptionist, Jodha made her way to her supervisor, she was in time today as Mirza dropped her here, in office and went for some work while it still hurted her that she can't come with her husband because of some issues. And the worst part was that he and that Natasha will be coming in the same car and it's all because of veer and Rishika. Those two can't share a car. "Calm down Jodha!" She reminded herself and was about to enter the supervisor's cabin, when some american accent caught her attention. "Hey!! The French accent girl..stop there!" Jodha furrowed her brows when she heard that, she never likes it when someone calls her that. She turned her head and there was some pretty girl with red hairs, flashing her dimples. Jodha examined her from top to bottom, she was looking fabulous in her yellow dress.
'Adorable' - the first word that came to her mind when she saw that girl. She was a great combination of innocence and cute.
"Sorry for calling you that, actually we are assigned to the same supervisor. Yesterday I was not able to meet you as you went somewhere" The girl looked at jodha as she completed her sentence, Jodha looked at her for a moment and then said - "Oh yea! actually some work was there..By the way! I am Jodha" After a quick hand-shake. They walked a few steps ahead. "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself, I am Kat" Jodha looked excited hearing that. "Oh my goodness!! Like the animal?" The girl raised her brows looking at Jodha. "What's that supposed to mean?" She looked confused, placing her hands against her hip..she looked at Jodha for an answer. "I mean Cat..the animal!" Jodha exclaimed...she indeed looked surprised! This girl was really interesting and there was no doubt that she already started liking her. "No No No! It's K.A.T not C.A.T " She spelled the words to which Jodha nodded...trying to hold her laugh at the way Kat freaked out. "Actually..you know my name is Katherine but I loves it when everyone calls me Kat. But my mother calls me Kanika..it's confusing but this is my life." Jodha couldn't help but giggle at the way she fluttered her lashes. "Oh! So you are Hindu or Christian?" She looked at Katherine for the answer but she looked confused."Actually I am a mixture of both...you know my mother is a Hindu and then she met my father in LA who was a Christian and then they fell in love, got married and then you know...I happened." Katherine explained. "So, how come you here in India?" Jodha didn't know the reason but she really liked Katherine. "My father died two years ago and then we moved here" Jodha cursed herself for saying that but before she could apologise, Katherine interrupted - "It's al-right..no formalities...please!" Jodha smiled looking at her 'new' friend. The girl was really pretty with rosy cheeks and dimples.
"Hey Chris!" Jodha looked at the guy whom Kat waved. "Whassup little red!" Chris replied, Jodha knew that he was their senior. She saw him with Jalal and Veer. "What's that supposed to mean?" Jodha loved that expression on her face when she says that particular line, she's so confused..sometimes. "Uh I don't know, little red. You are little and you got red hair" Chris replied with a laugh. "Oh that's so creative!" Katherine exclaimed. "Do Jodha now" She added making Jodha to look at her with wide-eyes.
"Where the hell was you?" Jodha sighed in relief when a girl came there, almost screaming. Oh! she was one of the head designer. "Why are you so mad at me, Chloe?" Chris asked, Jodha looked at Kat who was smiling widely. "I don't know why I am mad at you, I was so focussed on being mad at you, I forgot what it was I was mad about!"The girl whom Jodha recognised as Chloe, answered. "By the way! why are you talking to girls?" Jodha was the only one who was shocked by their fight, everyone else were busy doing their work like nothing happened. "Because you and I date, I can't be friend with other girls?" Okay! so by this answer by Chris, some things were clearing up, so they both were dating. "You can be friends with ugly girls" Kat chuckled hearing it while Jodha was still confused. Chloe, the girl Chris was dating glared both of them. For jodha, it was the end of their relationship. "I think you are new, here. Right Kat?" Jodha looked at Kat who nodded at Chloe's question and was about to speak something but then Chloe signalled her to stop. "Yes, madam" Jodha said meekly as Chloe was looking at her, continuously. "Dare you call me that, call me Chloe and you both will see him as your brother, got it?"Though she was rude but Jodha liked her for some unknown reason, she nodded and the couple went to their cabin.
"Who were they?" As soon as they left the place, Jodha looked at Katherine with curiosity."There are many things you don't know. But don't worry I will tell you everything. And regarding them, they both are dating, the girl is Chloe and the guy is Chris." She looked at Kat with her brows raised. Was she serious? "I mean do you know anything else about them?" Jodha asked and thankfully now Kat got the thing Jodha wanted to know. "Oh! Of-course, they both are dating for quite long time, maybe 5 years. They both are friends with the Khans, I mean they studied with Natasha Ma'am, Jalal and Veer sir. They both love each other a lot. Chloe is rude to everyone but she got a soft heart." Jodha looked really interested knowing some facts regarding her office. "You joined yesterday and you know so much about everyone" Her excitement filled voice made Kat to grin wider, showing off her dimples. "Thanks a lot, actually I always wanted to become a detective"Jodha made a weird face when Kat told her this. Was she detecting everyone on her first day at office.
"By the way, Aren't you excited for the interviews. I heard that this conference will be the biggest!" Listening to Katherine, Jodha mentally slapped herself, she forgot about this thing. "But you can only participate in this conference when I will allow both if you" They both looked towards the source of the sound, and there was their supervisor."What's that supposed to mean?" Jodha signalled Kat to keep her mouth shut but there was no way she could stop talking. "Shut up! I don't know what's this supposed to mean" Looking at the supervisor's expressions, Jodha knew that Kat must have irritated her yesterday by asking this question again and again. "Come to my cabin, I will announce there who will participate in the conference" Katherine really looked angry and Jodha estimated it was because she was kinda insulted by the supervisor. "Did you notice she was wearing that weird skirt, I hate that kind of things" Jodha was beyond shocked, she was angry because of some skirt, this girl's really weird. "You are unique" She spoke, still shocked by this girl's behaviour. "Thank you, but what's that supposed to mean?" She asked, flashing her dimples with a cute frown on her face. "Nothing!!" Jodha laughed while Kat was still looking at her for answer.
---Supervisor's Cabin---
"Okay! So as you all know that I will be deciding the intern who will participate in the conference!" Staring around at everyone present in her cabin, the supervisor continued."At best, I am ambivalent towards most of you. But some of you, I actively dislike"Jodha looked at the floor as the supervisor was glaring at her and Kat while saying the last few words. "And I want Katherine to participate in that conference." The Supervisor left after saying that. Almost everyone were staring at Kat, who was herself shocked. "I can't believe it's me!" Katherine looked at Jodha, shocked. "Me too" Jodha said, she knew that she would never be the one but Katherine. It was shocking for her and of-course it hurted that she could not participate in that interview but she was somewhat happy for Katherine. "But you!"Jodha looked at Kat when she said that, she knew she had lots of pending assignments to do. "With my laptop completing yesterday's work." Jodha laughed while Katherine waved at her and left. Jodha sighed and went to one of her fellow-interns for help.
--After 2 hours--
"Hey Jodha. I know I am late. Your work's done?" Jodha looked at Katherine who was busy gathering her things. "What happened to you! And yea. I completed the work." Katherine packed Jodha's belongings too. Watching her hyper, Jodha got a little scared and followed her. "Come on! It's the time for the interns to go home." Jodha stopped at her place. What's wrong with this girl? "But we can go after a few minutes" Katherine stopped at her place."We are not doing overtime. Even the heads are not here. After the interview they went for some shoots." Jodha was shocked by this new piece of information. Veer said he will pick her but if he's gone for shoots, then how in hell will she go home?
"I will be here for some time, you go!" Katherine picked up her car keys and then stared at Jodha.
---Katherine's Home---
"You sit here! I will bring something for you!" Jodha nodded at her and glanced at her apartment. It looked nice, she was roaming at her place, looking at her family photos. But suddenly someone came to Katherine's home with two kids, screaming angrily. "Where's Kat?" The woman asked, she was carrying a girl whose nose was bleeding. She was holding a boy's shirt who was looking at the floor."What happened Jodha?" Kat came running in the living room. "Hello! Mrs. Kapoor. Ohh! What happened to your daughter?" Kat stared at the boy who gave her a small smile. "It's all because of Eddie" Kat rested her hands against her hip and then looked at the boy whom Jodha recognised was Eddie. "Excuse me, Your daughter is always behind my brother. You better ask her. I am sure she would have done something wrong." Jodha looked at the boy who just ran to Katherine, she never knew that she had some brother. "Did you see what your brother did?" Said the woman, pointing at her daughter's bleeding nose. "Eddie..You made Kathy bleed. You are a very very naughty boy. Say sorry...now!" Kat signalled her brother to apologise to the girl. The young boy held his ears and muttered a low 'Sorry'.
"I think it's over. You can go now." The woman looked angry when Kat said that."Is that what you are teaching him? To hurt people?" Kat moved Eddie side-ways and took a step further. "Yes. In self-defence." The woman looked irritated. She left the place with her daughter. As soon as the woman were no where near. Kat turned to her brother. But before she could say anything, Eddie joined his hands, asking for forgiveness. "Ed! You are mad. She will complain to Mom. And next time. Mom will never leave us alone. Do you want Grand ma to come over here?" Jodha chucked at the way Eddie shook his head. "Where's your mother?" Jodha asked, Eddie looked at her and waved to her. "Oh! She's away cause of some legal things. You know a lawyer. I don't know how we will spend our weekend without her." Katherine sighed, sitting on the sofa. "Hey! Champ? By the way, what's the thing with your grand ma?" Jodha asked Eddie who laughed before answering. "You know she is really weird I mean weirder than Kat." Eddie again laughed after saying that while Kat just glared at him. "What's that supposed to mean?" Eddie ignored Kat and again looked at Jodha. "You know last time when she was here, she saw herself in the mirror and was like 'Eddie there's another me on the wall' and I was like 'Grand ma just introduce yourself I am sure she's nice'." Kat chuckled hearing that. "Right and the next day she was like 'Kat there's a helicopter in the kitchen and I was like 'Grandma! That's just a ceiling fan'." Jodha chuckled hearing that. After a good time of laughs. Eddie took her to his room"Wow! creative wall." Jodha giggled looking at the drawings on the wall. "Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain." Eddie grinned at Jodha. "Story of my life? One direction?" Jodha exclaimed listening the lyrics. "Yeah! A cool directioner." Eddie settled himself on his bed. "Me too! Like I love them. By the way..Any plans for weekend?" Eddie frowned at her question. "Nothing! We told you. Right?" The 7 year old answered. "Will you join me and my family. I mean we are going Goa?" Jodha was not sure if she was doing something right. But what she felt at that time, she did. And moreover Jalal told her that she can call anyone she wants. "That will be so cool. I went there once. But then I was 5..I guess. I mean it will be really cool." Jodha laughed at his excitement and ruffled his dark hair which he simply smiled to. "You find a lot of things cool. Don't you Eddie?" Jodha asked. "Yea, cause everything around me is cool like me. I liked your name too. It's cool" He just mumbled walking out of his room. "You know you are quite a smart ass for a seven year old" Jodha tried to copy American accent, knowing that he lived in LA for his first five years. "Thanks.--" He said, puffing out his small chest. "--I get that a lot" He continued. Jodha took out her phone from her bag but it wasn't there. She checked her pockets but there was no phone. "Oh shit! Office" Maybe she left it there, she have to inform Jalal about all these things. How she will reach home it's already 7. "Kat..." Jodha reached kitchen but watching her cooking she stopped. "You know cooking?" Jodha looked at Kat who just flashed her dimples. And by now, Jodha knew that this expression of her means 'yes'.
"Yea! She goes to cooking classes. And now she is quit a cool cook." Eddie laughed while the cooking thing reminded Jodha of last night's event. She too needs to learn the cooking stuff.."I also want to join you there. I mean I too wanna learn the cooking stuff" Katherine looked excited hearing that and agreed to take her to the cooking classes after the weekend.
"Oh yea! I need your mobile." Eddie gave Kat's phone to Jodha, and it was surprising for Jodha when they didn't ask the reason. She dialled jalal's number but it was out of coverage area. That was the only number which she had memorised. "What happened Jodha?" Kat looked at her, who seemed quite nervous. "I need to go home. I forgot my mobile at office. And I don't know how I will reach home" Kat grinned at her. "Just stay here." Eddie was excited hearing that but Jodha shook her head. She need to inform someone and moreover they will leave tomorrow. "I need to inform and no one is picking up the phone. I haven't done packing and the trip. We have to leave tomorrow." Jodha started panicking which scared Katherine a little. She have never handled such a situation. "Relax! I thought you were cool. We just can stay one night at your brother's place and then we all will go together to Goa." Eddie coolly told Jodha who relaxed hearing that. She have to inform about this trip to her brother also. It's not a bad idea. She smiled and nodded.
After a tiring 20 minutes of packing Kat's and Eddie's stuff. They carried the bags to the car. It was 8 by now and Jodha knew that Jalal would be back at home. Hamida was also not there. She was a little nervous about that. She knew he would be panicking about her. She can't go to Khan mansion all alone. She don't have any transport. She needs to go to her brother's place and then need to inform Jalal. "Where's your brother's place?" Kat asked, securing herself with the seat-belt. Jodha was trying Jalal's number but it was still unreachable. "Singh mansion" Jodha muttered nonchalantly while Kat looked at her, shocked. "Hey! Singh mansion. I heard it's some director's house?" Eddie asked and that's when Jodha realised that she owe them an explanation. "He's my brother" Jodha muttered while the two others were looking at her, surprised and shocked at the same time. "That's so cool" Eddie exclaimed while Kat was still shocked. And jodha knew that it was understandable but she can't just waste her time now. "Let's go, I will explain you" Jodha requested Kat and she started driving. It was now surprising for Jodha that Kat didn't asked anything. "See! I know you are mad at me! But you know...Come on!" Jodha muttered at Kat, she was genuinely feeling bad about her. Kat told everything about her but she didn't."There will be more celebrities in the trip with us?" Kat exclaimed to which Jodha mentally slapped herself. Now how can she tell her that there will be Jalal and others. She have to think about something. She was so much confused now. Firstly Jalal isn't picking up her phone and secondly, this new problem.
