There was a time in Bollywood when the character of a mother was very important. In films like Mehboob Khan's Mother India', Yash Chopra's Deewaar' and Praveen Bhatt's Bhavna', maa played a very integral part in the films. And now, Karan Johar is all set to get that mother on screen once again with Brothers'.
The filmmaker has slipped in an additional character of a mother in the film
A source said, "The character of the two heroes' (Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra) mom has been specially written for the adaptation."
Shefali Shah, who will soon be seen in Dil Dhadakne Do', plays a small but powerful role of Jackie Shroff's wife in Brothers'.
