dadi wanted to see Meera... she took geet with her...
Meera was seeing her patients and it was geets turn...
dadi and geet entered and sat down...
Meera - kya problem hain...
dadi showing geet - yeh meri bahu hain.. ek saal se zyada hogaya hain shaadi ko... abhi tak koi khush kkhabri nahi mili... pata hain kuch zyada time nahi hua...
Meera - par aap ko pota ya poti se khelti ka mann hain... Meera said smiling at them.. she turned to geet and said.. chahiye.. I will check you up...
a nurse came into the room and saw dadi... she greeted her but dadi signalled her to leave silently... the nurse left...
Meera came back after checking geet - she is absolutely fine... she can conceive...
dadi - toh mere pote mein hi hogi koi problem...
Meera - aap bina check up kiye kaise keh sakte hain...
dadi - woh isliye.. kyun ki woh meri bahu ko chod ke kisi aur ke saath hain... mujhe samajh mein nahi aaraha hain ki aaj kal ki ladkiyon ko kya hogaya hain... itna padhi likhi ho...itna samajhdaar ho .. desh vi desh dekh chuki ho... phir bhi shadi shuda ladke ke peeche padi ho... sharm naam ki koi cheez hain ya nahi.. maa baap ne kuch nahi sikhaya kya... all the words were directed to Meera.. but Meera couldn't get what dadi was saying... she told in a voice that shivered Meera...
Meera was startled with dadi's out burst...
Meera - ji .. aap kya kehrahe hain...
dadi - arrey tumhe nahi.. uss ladki ko... jisne iske pati ko ... mujhe lagta hain usse sahi galat ka farkh karna nahi aata... pata nahi kaisi besharam ladki hain...
Meera - okk..okk... yeh maine kuch medicines likhe hain regularly lijiye ga.. she handed over the slip to dadi...
dadi - isse ache medicines toh ghar mein bhare pade hain... iska pati bhi doctor hi hain...
Meera - kya.. Doctor hain.. kaun hain woh...
Maan who came to know about dadi's visit came running and entered Meera's cabin... and dadi saw him.. she said... dekho... yehi hain iska pati...
Meera stood up startled... Maan asked dadi.. aap kyun aayi hain Yaha...
Meera for the first time in her life saw dadi... the charm and the pride of being a KHURANA was written all over her face... Meera felt very timid in front of her...
dadi didn't talk to him... but turned to Meera and said... isse dekhne aur KHURANA khandaan ki bahu ko dikhane... aur woh Kaam hogaya...
Meera turned and looked at geet... she not looking anyone in particular... she seemed she is not in the room... unknowingly she thought... innocent beauty...
dadi turned to geet and said... chalo geet beta... Geet nodded...
dadi stopped and turned... she said to Meera tum Maan se shaadi karke uski biwi toh ban jaoge... lekin KHURANA khandaan ki bahu kabhi banpaogi... kisi ki ghar todne wali kabhi hamari bahu nahi bansakti... she turned and started leaving... pata nahi Maan ne aisa kya dekha tum mein...
Meera was totally hurt by dadi's words... she by now understood all the curse are directed for her... she poured her frustration on Maan... and Maan couldn't do any thing... he just left from there leaving Meera to deal with herself...
dadi supported geet in every way... she made geet to learn more things... but she couldn't make geet smile... both of them cried in their room hiding their tears from each other...
soon it was time for divorce... Maan went to meet geet before one day... for some explain her the formality of the proceeding... dadi has gone out and geet was alone in the house...
Geet - ji ...
Maan - kuch nahi... bas woh formalities batane aaya hoon...
Geet - woh toh phone par bhi bata sakte hain...
Maan don't have an answer for this... he didn't know why he decided to meet geet personally... he was getting confused more day by day...
Maan didn't reply her.. Geet went and got him his fav black coffee...
Geet - mujhe nahi pata aap woh Purani wali coffee peete hain ya nahi.. maine wohi banaya... agar aap kuch aur lena change hain toh ... shayad aapki aadat badal gayi ho..
Maan - nahi... meri itni bhi adat nahi badli...
Geet just smiled at his words... Maan sipped his coffee and felt a relaxation... he knew only geet could make him relax... just by the coffee made by her...
he came out of his revive.. he thought... yeh main kya soch raha hoon... main Yaha usse formalities samjhane aaya... nahi mujhe apne aap ko kabu mein rakhna hoga...
Geet went and took the cup after Maan finishing his coffee... she turned and about to move.. something caught her dupatta and she felt the pull.. and the cup slipped pouring the left over coffee on her dress...
Geet murmured a sorry and said... aap baithiye... main change karke aati hoon... Maan nodded and geet went inside...
Maan looked around the hall and saw thier wedding pic hung on the huge wall... how happy they were looking... and geets smile... and the spark in her eyes... he sighed.. now both of them are missing...
Geet came down after a while in a night dress... Maan didn't expect her to come in front of him like this...
Maan saw geet and couldn't move his eyes from her.. this is the dress he bought for her on their anniversary ... but somehow it got misplaced and she didn't wear at that time... but now.. when she is in from of him wearing that.. all the desires he suppressed are awakening and making him lose is control...
Geet sat in front of him... Maan aapko yaad hai yeh dress ... aap hi ne dilaya tha.. zid karke... aap toh mujhe showroom mein hi pehen ke dikhana ko kaha... maine mana kardiya... aur baad mein poocha toh maine kehdiya ki kahi khogaya hain... lekin maine aap se jhoot bola.. yeh dress maine hi chupa diya tha...
Geet smiled remembering... aapne toh mere poore kapde nikal ke dekha tha... ki kahi main jhoot toh nahi bol rahi hoon...
Maan recollected the incident... he had thrown her entire clothes in the hotel room searching for this dress... but he couldn't find it then... he didn't knew where she had kept it hidden...
Geet - maine isse aapke suitcase mein chupaya tha... aapne toh mera suitcase check kiya par apna nahi...
Maan stared at her.. he didn't expected her to do something like this.. it's true .. that thought never crossed his mind then... he so much wanted to see her in that dress...
Geet - kitne ache din the na Maan... humne kitna enjoy kiya... ek pagal pan tha... aur sukoon bhi... aur ab dekhke... hum kaha pohunch gaye... ab toh aapko mere naam se bhi ...
Maan stood up.. he couldn't meet her eyes... Geet stood up and came in front of him... she cupped his face and asked.. kya hamara koi bhavishya nahi hain Maan...with moist eyes... jo sapne maine dekhe.. hamare.. hone wale bachonke... inka koi astitva nahi hain aapki zindagi mein... she asked moving further towards him... their lips are almost touching...
Geet - Maan... main aaj aapse kuch maangna chahti hoon... pehli baar she added...
Maan nodded... Geet asked in a slow voice placing her hand on his broad chest... kya aap mujhe aapke zindagi ke kuch pal desakti hain... Maan was stunned to hear those words... he moved back from her hold and looked at her... but couldn't say anything... he was too shocked to say anything...
Geet - yeh galat nahi hoga Maan... main aaj bhi aapki patni hoon... divorce toh kal hogana ... aapka poora haq hain mujh par... she moved towards him and tried to hug him...
Maan - geet.. yeh kya karr rahi ho...
Geet - kyun.. Maan... yeh galat kaha hain... kuch dinon pehle tak toh hum...
Maan didn't let her complete her sentence... Geet... stop it... he couldn't hear something like that from her... he stated ... main jaa raha hoon... and left...
Maan went away taking long strides... he was not in a position to think anything... he couldn't take this image of geet... she asking for his closeness...
Geet ran to her room and cried in the shower...
